I was wondering where I could get information on schools and if open tomorrow.Mainly....

Warners Bay High
Hunter School Performing Arts, Broadmeadow.

They said on the radio yesterday that the Dept of Ed would make an announcement of closed schools today at 1pm. They will say all these on 1233am either at that time or soon after, or you could check the DofE website after 1pm.

I think my girls' school is ok, but I know the road was flooded. I think with some places though its not so much about the school flooding but if staffs' homes or cars were affected by the floods they may not be able to go to work.

just saw a sign go up at the junction..colsed..heard on 2ko......most of singo schools are open!!!!.....if you listen to 2ko..they will most probably let u know too Helen!:yes:

check this abc website-it says they prefer no children be sent to school tomorrow and that you can check with schools after that to see who is ready to get kids back!! Sorry Helen lol...

All of the Hunter & Central Coast Catholic schools are closed tomorrow and you have to call the school tomorrow to find out about Wednesday.

Yeah..Cooper's school is shut tomorrow for the moment..not sure how many other days he will be home after that.
We were over at Broadmeadow this morning and from the looks of the Performing Arts school Helen...i would say she will be home hun. Its a mess.
Ahhhhh yes.....another day at home trapped with the kids who are busting ta the seams to get to school and share their stories with their friends......sounds like fun doesnt it lol....maybe we should all get together and go crazy with each other lol.

Strange thing is, theres NOTHING wrong with Weston school lol. we went up too look. no broken windows, no trees down, no NOTHING so id love to knwo why Mr 7 has to stay home!

Its ok there seems to be nothing wrong with Newcastle East either.... I think its more of a case that the teachers may need to sort out insurance, clean ups etc...
