Hi everyone
i'm pretty new to this & still finding my feet around hub cyberspace.
would love to chat to anyone & everyone!
just wondering if there are any november 06 mums who would like to chat, am curious to find out how other babies of same age are going ie with solids, whether crawling yet etc.
my ds is nearly 7 months old & has been having solids for a few weeks now, but he's still only on rice cereal. should i try him on vegies yet? he doesn't seem that keen on the rc (can only guess really, but he often spits it back out!)
he isn't crawling yet, but loves to roll over (onto one side only at this stage) & he's nearly sitting up on his own (i don't think it'll be long anyway)
look forward to hearing from you all :)

Hi  welcome to bubhub :)
My DS was born in nov last year too. He is not crawling yet. He has been on solids for a while. He has 2 meals a day and 4 x 200ml bottles. One meal is usually pureed pears or apples and the other is pureed vegies (broccolli, carrot etc). so I think you could try him on something else now. Just try it one by one in case of allergies.
Welcome again, and I hope to see you around.

Hi proud_mama and thanks for the welcome!
your little boy must be getting big, and running around the place no doubt?! i'm sure in few months my little boy Daniel will be unstoppable and i'll have to watch him every minute, think i'll savour this age whilst he is still containable!
chat soon :)

i started to reply individually to all the lovely welcomes i got but it was taking too long! thanks so much for welcoming me to the hub! i'll try to get in amongst it but i'm sure i'll stuff up some of the time so bear with me!
it's amazing how different every baby is isn't it? some are eating, crawling, walking etc all at different ages and yet they were all born around the same time! it's easy to get into the mind set of 'i hope my son is doing everthing as he should be doing' or 'is there something wrong' that he isn't doing this or that yet whilst another bub has been doing the same thing for a while. it's all such a big learning curve. and to think i thought breastfeeding was difficult (it was in the beginning which is a whole other story!) it's the easiest thing altogether!
anyway, don't want to bore you all and blab on forever.
chat soon!
cheers

hey im new to this bub hub just figured out how to search and reply i also have a november baby girl born 30.11.06  i have her on solids 3 times a day farex in the morning. home made pureed fruit for lunch(pears, apples and strawberries). for tea home made pureed vegies (potato, pumpkn and carrots). i started her on solids at 4 mths with just breakky then at 5 mths brought it up to twice a day breakky and lunch then 6 mths breakky lunch and tea.. they recon in my book by 6 mths they should be eating 3 times a day i also i breast feed in between whenever she wants it...
she isnt crawling yet well not properly she crawl on her back (funny i know) she gets around pushing her self with her legs on her back it hilarious to watch and she is just startingto sit up by herself.. so it will be good to hear from all the november mum and what ur bubbas are up to
