Rotavirus

My baby has had rotavirus and has given to my mum and I. Does anyone know how long you are contagious for? I forgot to ask the Doctor.

My sister had this a few years ago and she was hospitalised for over a week with it.

I had Noah immunised for Rotavirus because it scares the poo out of me.

It certainly does scare the poo out of you lol. I didn't hear about the vaccine for it until she was too old:banghead:

I didn't know about the vaccine either until I went for his 4 months shots and our Doctor has been the same since I was a youngen so she knows my whole family and their history and told me that the vaccine was out and considering my sister's experiance was I interested. I jumped at the chance!!!

I think though once you've had it there is very little chance of it returning!!

its a very common virus with young children
