Hello all,

I thought I would put this info altogether.

How does 10am Thursaday 19th at the regatta point cafe suit people. If it is cool enough they have a lovely outdoor area with shade sales and if it is hot we can go inside. We can meet at the front of the complex. It is free parking too.

I look forward to seeing you all on Thursday.

Yes it is the rotunda on top of the hill near the captain cook water jet.

It is off Commonwealth avenue bridge, if you are coming from civic side you take the last turn off to the left before the Bridge. If coming from Woden side take the turn off to where Floriade parking is and go under the bridge.

I hope that hasn't confused you more.

Il re introduce myself as its been a while since I posted in the ACT forum and I see there are some new people.

I live in Queanbeyan and have been here almost 2 years, moved from the coast for my partners work, our DD Lexus is 15 months old. I cant believe how fast that has gone!

We had a lovely time today there was a small group of us four Mums and four bubs.:)

Imogen's Mum (Shannon) is going to post details of our next together soon, so keep an eye out for that.

I just wanted to pop in and say Hi, and it was really nice to meet MaryT, and hopefully next time we'll have a bigger turn out.
Noah had a great time playing in the puddles and running around, so it would be fantastic to get some of you with bubs around the same age to come next time so he has a bigger friend to play with :D
It sounds like you don't have long yummymummy you might be in labour right now........... how exciting

Hello all- sorry it took so long to post but my computer has a gremlin!!! So it keeps eating everything i put in!!!

The day was lovely- it was great to meet Mary_T and put a face with the words!!!! Thank you for organising it Mary!

We discussed meeting up again on either the 20th or 21st of February! That way every one has a month to organise themselves/ have babies... etc etc :D

Was thinking about the New Museum- the one with the "whoop-de-doo" out the front!!!

It has a huge foyer/cafe so we could fit all the prams, it also has a lovely outdoor cafe further into the museum! They also have storytime in the boab tree so we could catch that too- if anybody wanted to.

Please let me know how this works for everyone!

I am now limited to Mon and Tues as i start work W,Th,F on the 13th!

I am trying (note the trying) to download the photos from this meetup at the moment- just have to get the gremlin to disappear for awhile!!!!!!

Hi, I've been trying to find the ACT forum for ages now! and finally at 1am i have found it! lol
My name is neeshah, engaged to partner steve and happy mumma to georgia who'll be 1 this sunday.
DP is leaving on tuesday for the army, :( so georgia and i will be very lonely and looking for more things to fill up our weeks, as he's going for 3 months!
We would love to meet a new group of mum/dads with bubs, as the mum's group we were going to has stopped over the holidays as a lot of them have gone back to work, and our weekly meetings are now fortnightly/monthly!

Hello to all...........hope that everyone is well............my little girl was born on the 25th January at 4.38 weighing in at 7.5 pounds........Isaballa Grace, she is beautiful, with a full head of strawberry blonde hair !!!!!!!!!!!!! We have tried a few different brands, snugglers, baby love etc, and they just can't beat huggies. They are great, especially now that georgia is sleeping right through, u don't have to change her over night and she is totally dry! No bed and clothe changes through the night! Also woolworths were quit good. I think it's worth spending the extra few dollars on good nappies.

Hi Yummy Mummy hope all is going well with yourself and Isabella. huggies are a good nappy but I think I may even prefer Baby Love nappies. Baby Love nappies suit DD shape and I find that occasionaly I get leaks with Huggies but not with baby love. I also got some Babies R Us nappies from Toy R us which I got 50% off which worked out at $15 for 80 nappies and I have not had any leaks with them either (yet). I do think it depends on the size and shape of your baby as to which nappies work the best. I always stock up on nappies when on special I have a few boxes of Huggies some Babies R Us and I have just about run out of my Baby Love. However don't buy too many newborns as you never know how quickly they will grow out of them.

well i just realised the meet up is THIS monday..silly me!
I was very much looking forward to it, and not to mention very much needed! However I will still be away! I was suppossed to be home by then but now I will be only returning for the night, (Saturday night) then im off again on Sunday, so Im a little disapointed but I do hope there is another one soon so I can meet you all!
