So Im 25wks. And my cervix is softening and baby is engaging already(head down this time!). My OB has said bed rest, lying upside down in particular. I was just wondering if anyone has been able to hold off going into labour when they have this early,(I have had some contrations yesty but have stopped now). Is there anything I can do to prevent going into labour? And if I do and end up in hospital what things do they do to stop it?

I was given nifidipeine (sp?) and steroids and antibiotics when I went into premature labour.

Just rest as much as you can and get to the hospital quickly if you have contractions, the sooner you get there the sooner they can stop it.

Hope you stay pregnant for a lot longer:fingerscrossed:
