My husband & I did IVF for 3 yrs, we started off doing AIH 5 rounds, In total 6 ICSI cycles 2 of these were cancelled just before egg pick up, 2 Frozen Embryo Transfers, 2 miscarriages & on our last ICSI cycle I went into hypostim just after having the embryos transferred and my god was the hypostim painful.
Our dream of having a child finally came true by the double and on Feb 05 we got to met our twins Claire & Matthew :D
My heart does go out to you all who are doing IVF, it is one hell of an emotional rollercoaster ride and also hard on the pocket. I hope that your dream will also be fullfilled as was ours.

hi mum of twins and everyone else out there!!!! My husband and i also went through the ivf process, it took us 2 years to realise there may be a problem and i was sick of hearing people say, "it will happen when the time is right" dont u hate that? We ended up getting checked out and found out we had to do ICIS. Doing ivf was the biggest challenge i think we ever went through. 2 more years and 6 cycles later we were blessed with our little boy in december. Its hard to talk to people who havent gone through this so this web site is fantastic! Good luck to everyone out there who is doing ivf or about to start. IVF babies and their parents are XXXtra special. xoxoxoxoxoxox

Hi Mumaoftwins
Congratulations on the birth of your gorgeous twins. I'm always keen to hear other stories of women who have had twins through IVF. After 3 years trying we started IVF in November and I am now 13 weeks pregnant with twins. I live on the northside of Brisbane. I haven't started thinking about nursery items etc because wanted to wait to the second trimester but any tips you can give on where you went shopping and how to cope with twins (which I'm ecstatic about!) :D would be much appreciated
Steph
