Haha thanks. I always get caught out rousing at the kids...lol
Also on the video, the roads and paddocks were still a far way away from the river but the water was that high that its come across..

Omg Gumby, we got a call, DH's aunt lives in Singo, we had to go pick her up as they are evacuating her area of town
The main st near KFC is just about inpassable - a few more hours I"d say and only 4WD's will be able to get thru!

Oh Gumby, I was crying for you when I saw that last slideshow. I grew up in Newcastle...now in Brisbane. I know lots of people must be hurting down there. Hope you get some relief soon.
First the earthquake, then this.
I was talking to my cousin's ex in Cardiff night B4 last and it sounded dreadful. Poor, poor people.
My niece is camping at Glenbawn dam. You wouldn't know how things are there, would you??

everything is fairly safe from denman up.... it was the goulbourn river that did all this..... the hunter was high, but the goulbourn broke its banks..it joins the hunter a few kms down stream from denman..... there was flooding here but nothing the levy bank couldnt handle;)
rian i hope your sister is doing ok...i guess the good oint was the beer made it:) ...... were they insured
We certainly broke the banks here. It was :barf: to watch. I will put some pixs up soon of my sis taking the last trailor load of stuff from the house. A foot of water in there front yard already. I didnt realise they got out so late
