View Full Version : When did your boy weigh 11kg?
I'm asking this for a couple of reasons ...
1. I'm wondering when Josh is likely to need to move from the crawler (6 - 11kg) nappies to the toddler (10 - 15kg) nappies.
2. I'm wondering if I should buy a baby swing that he can only sit in til he weighs 11.3kg.
Did your son stick to his percentile? If Josh sticks to his percentile (just under 75th) it means he'll be 9 - 10 months before he's 11kg.
Thanks for your thoughts :)
DS is in the 97th %tile and now, at 8 months, weighs 10.35 kg

Lachlan's 13 months and he's only 9 kgs, Noah was probably about 9 months when he was 11kgs. It really depends on the baby.
It's only a rough guide. Why don't you try the bigger size and see if it works? He will just grow into them
Or even better switch to MCN
Huggies nappies are on mega special at coles at the moment and I want to get a few boxes ... just trying to work out if that's a silly idea. Sounds like he'll be in them for a while though (he's not even 5 months yet).
My DS is 2yrs old and has just gone 12kgs, so he prob hit 10kgs at 14 months, 11kgs at 18months.
He aint a big fella, average birth weight 3.4kgs, just not chubby, little rake. We always used a bigger nappy tho, caught more wee. Like we used toddler nappies once he was up and moving/walking, better design for that.

Lachlan is 16 mnths and still hasnt reached 11kg! He is about 10.5 kg though so he is nearly there:thumbsup:
His weight has always been just below the average, but he is very long and has always been above average in height,so it evens him out:D

I would grab a 3 of the boxes he is in and maybe 1-2 of the next size up.
Brandon was 11kg at 10mths but started to walk at 10 1/2 mths and it fell off him very quickly dropping back down to 9kg until 14mths.
My DS is 12/1/2mths and he is about 10.8kgs. I always found with huggies that he moved to the next size when he was about 2-3kgs under whatever the age on the packet was and they seem to fit better. :)
my little man is almost 14 months and has just hit the 10kg mark!
He's always been a skinny binny.. I find with Huggies, they are pretty generous with the tab arms so you only really have to factor in the rise.. I tried a walker one on K and it went WAY above his belly button.
We'll be sticking to the crawler size for a while yet :D (im a part time cloth user tho)
