My mum just sent me a picture through that my dad took earlier. I'd go and have a look but apparently you just can't get through cause of the traffic. I could easily walk there (it's only take me 10 minutes) but not in this weather!

poor buggers there are so many ships out there at the moment from terrigal beach you can see at least 20!! I hope they all have really good anchors:yes:

Oh these pics make me homesick!!! :o

My sister mentioned the bad weather knocked her fence over......... I just thought she had a dodgy fence....... but that weather looks insane!!!

No, the weather is insanse! My mum works at Hexham and is on her way home cause they're worried they won't get out if they stay any longer. DH works 5 blocks away and he drove to work. There's trees down on roads, accidents everywhere.

Oh dear im really worried now..... my sister is on her way to coffs harbour. I had a dream that she was in an accident last night... :crying:

I hope they postpone the trip. Ive told her to be careful on the roads. In fact I woke her at 2am with that message after my awful dream. :o

I hope you and your families all keep safe :fingerscrossed: . It looks like the weather here when we have cyclones!!

Wanttohavebub - My p's are meant to be going to Melbourne for the weekend but I don't think they'll be flying out of here any time soon.

I'm sure your sister will be fine :hugs: It's more the fact that people aren't slowing down on the roads and driving like it's a crystal clear sunny day that's the biggest issue.

my sil has been travelling allday from diamond beach near foster etc......had go long way around because roads are flooded...on way to sing....and the rooad is closed near greta....a 2hour trip has turned into allday!!!!!

apparently they were all told told to go out to sea 10 nautivcal miles last night because of the storm front coming by authorites....they chose to ignore the warning s.....so they have lost 1 ship and 2 others have now broken anchor in the rough oceans.....idiots......to save money they didnt moove....now they have lost bigtime.....hope nothing spills onto newy's lovely beaches!!!!!!)

comes down to money...there are a backlog of ships out there...and to moove one costs money....though now loosing a ship will cost a lot more!!!!!!!
