Green/Yellow Vomit

Okay Isla is vomitting yellowy greenish vomit - any ideas what is causing it???? She dosn't have a snotty nose or anything which was my first thought and it has been happening for over a week now. I have taken her off the Losec as I thought it may be that (and it wasnt really doing anything) but nope she is still vomitting yellowy green.

If it was just yellowy I would think it was just the milk but what would the green be from??? I guarantee my milk isn't green;)

yellow is generally the bile in the stomach

is she keeping anything down?


the green i dont know what the could be.

maybe take her to the drs to get checked out

my bubs does vomit after the losec but not green/ yellow /// from what i hear the losec makes thing purple i think - probably wrong colour ???? not sure what i heard now ??? but yeah stomach bile is yellow ... green is a sign of infection ??? best to take her to get checked out if at all concerned !!! take care ..

Amelia had weird green vomit when she was exclusively breastfed as well. She only did it a couple of times in slight amounts. The doctor couldn't tell me what it was and said she was otherwise healthy. I'd get her checked out just incase.

Amelia had bad reflux too. :detective:

ETA: They were just her usual reflux spews, she wasn't 'ill' as such when she did it.

stomache juices can be anything wrom clear sticky stuff to yellow to greeen, if it has brown tinges old blood and if it has red tinges new blood

You may find that with stopping tolosc cold turkey you may be in for more tummy acid puke as the tummy will start producing more again
