How To Do the No Cry Sleeping Solution??

Hi, just clicked into this thread hoping to find how to use the No Cry Sleeping Solution for my little 1 as I don't think I've slept in 3 years!! DS is 10 months old and I have no trouble putting him down but he wakes to be fed every 2 hours sometimes even every 1.5 hours. Are there guidelines or ideas to follow to try this? Thanks

Hi Margaret,

There are heaps of books on this type of method, maybe you could try your local library if you don't want to buy one? The ones I have are "sleeping like a baby" by pinky mckay and "the no cry sleep solution" by elizabeth pantley. The pantley one has the most practical steps in it I thought but you could pull what you like from a few different ones. There are lots out there for ideas!

Im no expert tho it sounds like ure DS is snack feeding, you have to really persist in him having more and holding off the next feed as much as possible. if he falls asleep on the boob wake him up and get him to have some more. it will take a while but over time he should have more milk in one feed which will stop him wanting it so often ;)

I've given up on sleep, don't even know what it means anymore :crying:

I must look 100 right now.... that's how little sleep i am getting. My 18 month old DS just wakes every hour or two screaming for whatever reason. I have tried everything, but refuse to give him back a pacifier as it makes his face break out in a painful rash. Sorry Margaret, i don't have any advice but thanks for opening this thread, i will watch it closely and hopefully we can both get some good tips :fingerscrossed:
