BUMBO seat

Hi there,

we just bought our daughter a 'bumbo'seat and its gr8:D It is a moulded rubber seat that almost looks like a potty that you put bubs in when they can sit up without neck support. I think it is only new, it was a bit expensive ($85)from our local baby shop BUT she loves it!!!

Just thought i would let you all know about it.

Sounds like a great new thing. i am actually looking to get my son a chair as he doesn't like the rocker anymore.

Just had a look at them - interesting.

Just can't help understand one thing though - what if they get sleepy and head just flops or doesn't that happen.

I would like to get one but just wanted to know that first. Can you please help me Jes.

Same i'd like one too, but would like to know if they flop over at all.....Of course, i guess when they're getting sleepy you take them out......:rolleyes:

Hi Shaz & Miss,

My little DD is very active most of the time so i dont have much chance of her falling asleep.*LOL* I think it depends on the height of your child, the back support sits up quite high on Emma BUT she is only short. As long as you are there at all times watching them it would be fine:)

We were siting in the back yard yesterday and we used it as the 'high chair' to feed her in PLUS its light weight and not to bulky so you could take it anywhere!

Sorry im going on a bit BUT i just think it is the best:D

Ok, had a look, but the bit where they say where you can buy them is under construction...hmmmm. It still gives a bit of a rundown on what they are though.....
