Hi all, I'm new to Perth - finding it hard to meet new people. I'm 25 with an 8 month old Son... Would love to hear from anyone who might have suggestions on how to make new friends!

Not sure where abouts in perth you are (im in Beldon - its near Joondalup) But there are NOR and SOR meets nearly every week as well as monthly mums nights out..

hi :wave: im mary. i am 28 and live in bullsbrook, with my ratbag 3 1/2 yr old dd, 14mth old ds and 10wk old dd. hopefully one day when i can get out and about more easily with the 3 kiddies we may meet. its a bit hard for me to go to the meets these days especially with the oldest one ruinning off on me and the 14mth old wanting to venture off aswell. its hard to be in three places at once, at least the bub stays put in her pram...for now...lol

Hi there! I'm Erin and I have a DD born on 21.12.06 after 31 hours labour:eek: but worth every ounce of agony! I'd also like to meet some mums in the Dianella area as none of my friends have babies yet. I'll PM a couple of you and perhaps we can get together.
By the way Jesssharpe, I've enroled my DD in Gymbaroo and it seems to be a good way to meet other mums (is expensive though).

Hi! I'm a 31 yo mum also with an 8 month old little boy. You could also consider joining a Playgroup in the Floreat area. Just go to their website (www.playgroupwa.com) (I think) and look at what's near you. There are baby swimming classes that take place in Floreat as well (my little niece goes to it). Also if you're the active kind I joined the Women's Triathalon group that does a lot of training at Perry Lakes in FLoreat and met some great friends there.
