Afraid of the dark...

Are your older kids afraid of the dark?

My 7 year old will not go into a room or down a hall that is dark. She is too chicken, and now my 4 year old.

Apparently I was told it is normal, but I can't remember. I was afraid of the dark, but as soon as I turned the light on, it was fine. My kids won't even get to the room to turn the light on.

Sometimes DS doesnt like the dark.

But for me, Im still afraid of the dark.

Its only recently(like past 2 days)ive been able to have all the lights off in the house.

We sleep with the hall light on cause bubby doesn't really like the dark, I don't mind.

We have to sleep with the TV on in our room (so annoying) beacuse DD2 won't sleep without it on but no volume - and DD1 & 2 are still sleeping in our room because they are too scared to sleep in their own room.

My kids won't even approach a room that is dark, even if where they are is light...
