The big holiday we are planning next year is going to be about 10 days long and as I am a mum who likes to make her own baby food, I am wondering just how I'm going to manage with feeding my one year old at a resort.
There are no cooking facilities at this one except for a microwave and kettle and of course a very small fridge.
The freezer compartment of the fridges are really tiny and I'm just not sure how i'm going to manage for 10 days if I can't keep the food really fresh.
I'm planning to bring a small amount of baby food in jars but only in moderation.
I'd love to know how other mums manage the feeding of their bubs, so any experience or advice in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

If you are staying at a resort, you should be able to order just a bowl of veggies from room service, if necessary.

I used to order my meal when we were out with vegetables if there was a choice of veg or salad, often that was enough for my daughter and I to share.

More and more places are offering children's meals other than (insert name of fried protein source) and chips. Some pubs offer a bowl of veg, we went on holidays recently, and there was a child size chicken parma and veg on the menu at one place, and a child's roast dinner at another.

There's always entree size portions of pasta, too.

I don't like frozen veg personally, but what about some of the single portion frozen sachets which you cook in the microwave in the bag? There are some which are mixed veg which I have seen people at work cooking for their lunch.

My 1yr old eats basicly what we eat now, so I would just do like aardvark suggested and give your child a portion of your meal.
