Crawling

Hi everyone,
What age did your babies start crawling? I realise every baby is different, but I would like a general idea :D.

Hahahah my bubs doesnt even do a proper crawl & he is 10mths hehehe he does his own commando type crawl/drag/roll but he is happy as doing this & ive realised he is just doing it his way. He gets around just as easy & in some ways i would have liked him to stick to tummy time where he stayed put :p
The little girl at my mothers group who was born a day before bubs was crawling as of 6mths & i mean proper crawling get up on hands & knees & go !!!!! Was scary her mum kept wanting me to swap LOL !
Bubs is now trying to push up on his toes & hands to stand up which im not happy about as they usually "cruise" first which means he has to be near something to pull up etc & waddle along so if he works out how to get up alone im in such big trouble :(
I just want him to stay a baby hehehe :D

My dd has been crawling since she was 6mths old.:eek:

Now she is 8 1/2mths and is taking 3 steps on her own.:eek: :eek:

But both my boys only started crawling at 8mths.And they didn't walk till 11mths.

I would prefer them to walk later as they can understand things better like no and don't touch.

Unfortunately the little monkeys do these things when they want and not us.:D

DS is 9 months and started crawling a few days ago. He started crawling on his tummy and then 3 days later started crawling properly!!

Started Commando crawling at 6 months (very active bub:p ) he was very fast too!

Started crawling on all fours about 10 months.

Started walking 13 months :)

Now at 18 months he just runs everywhere :eek:

DD1 crawled on her tummy with one foot in the air like a rudder at 9 months, crawled properly and stood up on her own at 10 months and walked a week before turning 1.
DD2 crawled properly at 6 months, was climbing things at 7 months and pulling herself around furniture. She walked at 10 1/2 months and runs and climbs everything in sight at 15 months.

They really are all different!

Both my 2 started crawling at 6mths. It then took them about 2 weeks to crawl properly. DD then walked at 11mths and DS at 13mths.

K started crawling at 5.5 months :eek: :eek: He is now nearly 7 months and is walking around the furniture :eek: :eek:

My dd was 10 and a half mnths when she started crawling my niece is 1 on tuesday and she has just started same with my nephew.. My other nephews was 7mnths and 10-11mnths, my ds has just started commando crawlin at 5mnths....
They are all different I have put alot of ages cause they are all within a year of each other and 3 were same age and they all took different times to do it..

MJ started commando crawling about 6.5months, proper crawling around 7months. Now at almost 8 months she's pulling herself up to standing every chance she gets :eek:

Kenz started crawling at 7 months, but i don't think Charlee will be that fast. She can't even lift her head off the floor yet.....:( , and she's just over 5 months.

DD started crawling at 9 months and started walking at 11 months. :)

Rosie started at 6 1/2 months ( slow) and now gets everywhere, but arwen my other girl she did not crawl until 8 1/2 months.

My Ds started commando crawling at 6mths and all four crawling at 6 3/4mths

DD crawled across the room at 9months. it was my new years day present.

It took her a week to master it properly.

DS, lucas is 5 months and has been trying to get up on his knees for a month now. He can get 3/4 up on his knees or if you position him on his knees he can sit there for a while... Hopefully not far off crawling.

The dude is 7 months this weekend and can't really crawl as such but does a wonderful 360 tummy spin. You should see him do it on the polished floorboards!

my bubba didnt even try to start crawling till 3 days before his 1st birthday ! took about a week and he had it perfect.

i guess thats pretty late compared to some...

still waiting for my princess to crawl, and she is 11 months. Apparently I never crawled as a bub, so maybe dd will follow this tradition.
