My darling little boy decided to make a nice big mess in the bath tonight and of course nobody else is home.eek:
Don't you wish there was a manual out there that really told you what you were in for when you had kids?

The thing makes me laugh is "what a little bundle of joy' .Is that when he's asleep?

That reminds of the other day...my Mum was taking Jesse (4) out for the day and I went out the front to say goodbye. As he was walking to the car he called out, "Love you Mummy" to which I replied (without thinking)..."Love you more when you're leaving!" Does that make me a bad Mummy?:o

Jesse was fine with it! He just kept skipping to the car, it was only after I said that I felt like a terrible mother...something to tell the therapist I 'spose;)

I'm going to threaten the boys with the same thing I was threatened with when I was a teenager...boarding school!
If I was starting to 'test the boundaries' all Mum or Dad had to say was 'Monivae' (a Catholic boarding school in Hamilton Victoria) and I would 'toe the line' once more!

My bubby only just found out about his bits about a month ago but has no idea that he can do anything with it yet. I read a bit of advice when he gets toilet trained though. Put some cheezles in the loo and have him aim at them. Think it will work?

carlyb, careful with that boarding school threat... my aunt used to use it on my cousins. One day, after getting in trouble and being told that he'll be sent to boarding school, my youngest cousin said "fine" and went to his room, packed a bag and told his dad he was ready to go, and he didn't want to live at home anyway! (he was about 3 or 4 at the time):D

Yeah ive heard of something like that actually i just dont know whether it works.
My nephew used to "forget" he was peeing apparently so would end up with pee everywhere cause he would start looking at the ceiling or the walls so that meant him turning !!!! I just dont want those dramas LOL !

cheezles? he might try to eat them.. ewwww.. try a ping pong ball :)

We are starting swimming lessons soon and the person running it told me we don't *have* to wear those swimmers nappies because 1. you can't stop them peeing and 2. they very rarely poo whilst swimming.... erm I going with the swimmers nappies.. just in case.

Thats amazing most pools have rules that if a child is not toilet trained they MUST wear a swim nappy.
You really don't want any floaters in the pool do you?

Never thought about him trying to eat them.
We,ve been doing swimming lessons for over six months and about a month ago a new bub started our class and bubs mum doesn't put swimming nappies on him:confused:
I was just hoping he was toilet trained. At just over a year old I doubt it though. Luckily we had to change the day we do our lesson.

Hi all,

Just about boys ...Zac tries to pull his bits off..I mean he really digs his little fingers in and stretches it waaay out, gets this look of intense concentration...its like skin origami. I don't have those bits and even I wince.

Loves to fart in the water, turns around and has a giggle - soemtimes its like a jacuzzi in there!

And for really gross - After Zac had a swim the other day, David said leave his nappy off for free willy time. Against my better judgement, I said Ok but leave him on the deck and watch him like a hawk.........Cricket was on, wasn't it.........Next thing "EEEEEWWWWWWW OH YUCK ZAC, MEELLLLISSSSAAAAAAAA", Yep, No.2's all over the place, and bubba's got his hands full.

Haven't had a pollywaffle in the bath yet....cross fingers!
