Hello lovely ladies....

Firstly - sorry, but wasn't multi-quoting, so hope I remember all personals.

I'm back and hoping that tonight is going to go on as it started...It's been getting a bit better each night, but last night I couldn't put K down till about midnight (was up again at 1.45, then she slept till 7 this morning). Thought that was a good night, till we got her down tonight at 9 and she hasn't been up!!!!:smiliedance:

I felt I was living a dream yesterday...I'd been up (a fair bit) and brought K to bed about 5. At 6.30 both kids were up but i felt too wrecked to get out of bed. Was just about to do so when DH got out of bed, took K and closed the bedroom door:eek: I next saw him at 8 when he came in with bacon, eggs, toast and baked beans on a file (no trays in this house) to eat in bed:eek: Told me to eat breakfast then have a shower and come out later. I have NEVER had breakfast in bed before! I actually fell asleep again for another half hour, but even cold it was great. He ended up telling me he'd found there was a model train exhibition on which he thought A would like to see, so we all trooped off to town. He topped it off by cooking dinner!!! I felt like I really was dreaming!!!

K certainly looks like she's getting back to her cheeky self, and it's about time too since it's now been about 2weeks since she got sick.

Kaz - love the pics, as someone else said - Pip's looking so grown up. Not sure about the tat - think I'd go for an ankle.

Tash - beautiful dress (nice pic of you and Suat too)

Kel - glad to hear Angel's well and not joining the sick brigade.

Jac - :hugs: for both you and Faith after her fall

Sorry -that's all I can remember for now - it's been 2hours since I started my post - K got up at 11 - and I've been with her since. Hmm... should have touched wood.

Will chat again tomorrow.

Pegs, what a great DH, that would have been so nice for you just to relax and have time out.

Kel, hope Angel is feeling better this morning.

Seek, i think Nix and Cobes have been talking, Nix did the same but it started about midnight

I am so over Nix waking at night, it is driving me insane. I just can't keep going with out any sleep.

I am feeling better this morning, my throat and nose are fine, the fenugreek must have kicked it.

We got so much rain last night, it didn't stop pouring and it is still raining :smiliedance: and there looks like there is still heaps more rain coming, just hope the dams are getting some.

Hey kel,
Yeah sound like more teeth coming threw especially with her being warm and irritable at night.

So wats involved with the baby shows?
Good luck with that kel hope you do well!!!!

thanks for the hugs, gorgeous mumma :hugs: she's alot better this morning, her body heat seems to be back to normal, her hands are cold again which is a good way to tell HEHEHE!!!! i can't tell if there are any more teeth, she doesn't let you stick your fingers in her mouth!!

with the baby show i'm going to it supports the cerebal palsy assoc so this time we had to sell a book of raffle tickets and it puts you in all categories for the day and you win trophies and ribbons and medals but not money (which i like, i don't think you should be given money - it's a baby show, not a beauty pageant). i do it for fun cause i know Angel is beautiful already!!

did you get to talk to Suat?? how's he going??

Kel, 38 is on the way for a temp going up, but as i read in a later post of yours, it does sound like she is teething again. how many chompers now?

well, she has the 4 front ones top and bottom but apart from that i'm not sure, it's quite hard to be able to feel em with my lil cherub!!!

That's how P says it too.... one of the latest additions is "det dow" which is her version of "get down" when I tell the cat off.... pointing included from her..... oh and when she looks in a mirror you get "whosat"..... I think thats "whos that"..... so funny....

on the teething Kel.... P has had 4 new teeth come through in the last week.... but has been fantastic about it..... so that makes 6 in total and number 7 & 8 are just about to poke through too.... glad to get them all out of the way together....

that is so cute how Pip is saying things  i'm sure angel said 'i get it' the other day and ady's parents reakon she's said it too but i'm not sure.

thanks for the hugs also, grgeous mumma. angel got the 2 front bottom ones and the 2 fang teeth at the top within 2wks, then the 2 bottom ones beside the middle ones and the 2 front top ones within about the same time so i was really lucky and liked that it happened so quickly. i have no smurfin idea what ones are coming now but they're obvioulsy painful for my poor lil bubba

I felt I was living a dream yesterday.

:hugs: it's about time your dh showed you some appreciation. i'm so glad it made you feel special, you really deserve it, xxoo.

I am so over Nix waking at night, it is driving me insane. I just can't keep going with out any sleep.

Just a quick one to say good morning!!! Love all the pics. I am definitely posting some today. Just waiting for them to upload now.

Also I don't think I let you all know that Faith started crawling on the 18th May!!!:yelclap: Finally, she is quite the pro now. She also waves (at everyone and everything!), claps and hi-fives. Her only talking is dadda, mum mum mum, nana and up. Although I have thought I have heard her say 'ello a couple of times... but can't be too sure.

Brissie ladies, sounds like next Weds is a goer. Please let me know if you need me to PM you my addy.

How much are we loving this rain!:smiliedance: :smiliedance:

Be back later, gotta go to the tiler this morning @ 10.30 then will be spending the rest of the day at home!!! Speak to you all then xxxxxxx

So using my shocking memory, here goes!

Pegs, Your man is AMAZING!!! I'm not complaining about mine, but your DH should be giving out lessons!!

Jac, Glad to hear little Faith is ok! How scary for you. I didn't know she had a murmur. I was only at the ped. cardio the other day finding out if L's murmur was innocent etc. Big hugs to you!

Sleep.... Nikki, Mell and Maria (and all the other that need it!) sending sleeping vibes to your babes. Mell I'll pm you.

Widge, is Miss A happy now? Last time you posted she was really unhappy or so you said?..

Brissy gals, I'm so looking forward to seeing you soon!

Haylie, hows the sleep going for you and master M?

Tash, your dress is so beautiful! I really hope Suat is back to you soon, you are such a lovely couple.

Kaz, your little darling! What can I say.. she's just like her Mummy! How's your doula course going?

Nel, WTG Kai with the walking! How many more weeks till you can pick him up? How's Zac with the bath issue?

Kel, I hope Angel lets you see how many teeth she's got!

Rach, how are you? How was the visit from friends?

TS, hope Mr P sorts out his sleep for you. I'm enjoying L's routine while it lasts!!

I'm sure there's more....

um, I know!!

Nay, we don't find out any more info about DH stuff until around July.....will keep you posted!
How's everything for you?

Karen, So good to hear from you. Hope all is going well. xxx

MD, hows the pudding and s&v's going?

Jayney and Lollie how are you both??

Ok... I'm sure I've forgotten people... big huge hellos to you!

I'm off for a sleep. I'm fighting off this cold and have friends coming over this arvo so no chance of a sleep then! I really should stay awake and do washing and then scrapbooking (btw loved your photos Haylie!) I'm trying to finish an album for my sister.... but pfft! I hear bed calling lol!

Good morning Ladies!

I have been reading but have nothing really to say, our lives are fairly boring atm

Haylie, hows the sleep going for you and master M?

HI Mich! The sleep is going so well, I only had to use the CC one night and then the next night he was asleep before the 3 minutes were up (either asleep or just quiet) so it's not been a struggle at all. And he's such a good boy, he's been sleeping in until 8am every morning for us :smiliedance: He wakes up at about 6 but I just hear him talking to himself in bed and then he puts himself back to sleep for another couple of hours. It's so wonderful, I can't complain about him at all lately.

At the moment he's sitting in his high chair looking out at the yard waiting for some birds to come back. He loves watching them, a couple ventured out while the rain stopped but now they've gone again and he's not too happy about it LOL.

It rained here all night, it was so lovely. It's stopped now but I'm pretty sure there's more to come

Hi to everyone else

Also I don't think I let you all know that Faith started crawling on the 18th May!!!

Just attacked Miss P with the tape measure.... much to her disgust.... very rough measurement she is around 78cm..... maybe I should get her to stand at the height chart instead considering she now registers on it..... :detective:

Haylie - how I wish P had as much hair as Mason.... it is finally starting to grow and thicken, quite quickly in the last couple of weeks.... but she's a baldy compared to M....

Veritas

Revise that... she is more like 74cm.... and not quite on the height chart in her bedroom....

Well my day has been very boring, had an inspection today, spent the last three days cleaning. The lady just came straight in and out lol. We were freaking out about it coz we are renting atm and we have a dog which were not supposed to. But it all went fine.
Leylas cold is getting better, shes been coughing up stuff at night, poor thing.

She's now trying to put her sox on when they fall off - i'ts so cute, and she's been putting my slippers on my feet. She's almost only walking, she's getting really good at it. Such a cheeky thing she will go to give me things then she quickly takes them back and turnes herself the other way lol. :smiliedance: okay im off to watch some tv, the weather is really bad here, take care everyone xoxox

How is everyone going?

I am going twinsainne today. Jordan is driving me crazy. Does anyone want him?

Neither of my boys like sleeping and I have not had a decent sleep since before the boys were born. I am sick of being up most of the night also and just sick of being so tired all the time. There is my winge.

Got my payout from work so I have officially retired at 32.

Are they Creative Memories (or whatever the proper names is) albums? I like them better than the scrapbook albums but don't know where to get them from?

Yeah, they are creative memories - I used to be a consultant but not anymore. You can get a free album if you hold a party, just go to the Creative Memories Australia website and they'll help you find your nearest consultant.

WEll, off to have a shower, while my babes sleep - yep, you read that right, daycare has tired them out!!

M2M - I am still Breastfeeding them but they are teething - the top ones are coming through. Tommy seems to handle it okay but Jordan is just hard work. Jordan is the one in the red in the front.

Was just wondering isn't Jessie's little boy one today or soon?

Jacqui - was skimming through the posts and did you say that Faith has a hole in her heart??

Tommy is climbing up on everything and fell out his cot the other day. I was downstairs as there was an old man in my yard calling for help. I went down to help him walk across the street and when I came back up both boys were crying and Tommy was out of his cot. He fell out but thankfully he was ok.

Does anyone know if any rain has gone into the catchment areas???

Hi to everyone else.

Does anyone have a fisher paekel (spelling) fridge??? Looking at buying one and not sure if we should go for a Westinghouse or what to get.

Oh the boys have learnt how to ride the skateboard and balance on it up and down our hallway.

Love to all

thank you! it just occured to me that at one of our meets, maybe we should all do a page :D

Maria- the pages are beautiful!! You do so well! I love hand writing on pages, i'm such a perfectionist that I type everything lol but it looks so much more personal hand written.

Are they Creative Memories (or whatever the proper names is) albums? I like them better than the scrapbook albums but don't know where to get them from?
i think its more personal writing it., yes it is creative memories, can get quite pricey, but now that i have just about all the tools, ive also been getting things of theirs off ebay.

Hi Higa, Thats a really great job u did of the scrap booking! You're girls are very beautiful!

thank you! and thank you about the girls. Cris is certainly going to have alot of trouble when they reach the dating age (dont even want to think anywhere near that atm, although DD1 is going to be 8 in august!)

I am going twinsainne today. Jordan is driving me crazy. Does anyone want him?

Got my payout from work so I have officially retired at 32.

lol jayney, love it when you say twinsaine!!! good luck on the retirement !!

Oh the boys have learnt how to ride the skateboard and balance on it up and down our hallway.

classic! would be funny to see!!! as for fridges, our big beast is an LG.

Kel, Mum lives up at Blackbutt (not far from where Jess lives) and my three sisters all work. I am surviving but it would be nice to get some decent sleep. I am giving them a bottle before they go to bed but it doesn't seem to help them sleep longer. They drink the whole bottle.

I think I will have to try and wean them as they are now biting my nipples. I can still feel the pain.

I am going to give the boys their bath. Talk soon ladies.

Widge, is Miss A happy now? Last time you posted she was really unhappy or so you said?..

She was unhappy because she was hungry and tired... Oh, and left alone while i was on here!! :o

What's going on with c-sec stories... Mine probably isn't worth it...

I felt so moronic today... Went to the Childrens Hospital for Miss A's developmental assessment which I was secretly dreading... They couldn't find my appointment in the system... Took them an hour to find someone who could help me work out what was going on...
Appointment was for yesterday... Stupid preggie hormones had me in tears... For some reason I had it in my head as Wednesday 5th June... Der... The 5th was yesterday, it's been on the whiteboard for months... So... one of the Drs that has to be there is going on holidays and doesn't get back til the 2nd of June... The day I go back to work!! They said they can't reschedule until the meeting on Tuesday as they are only ever in on Tuesdays but will try and get me in ASAP... They only have 2 appointments each week so :fingerscrossed: they can do it without her and get us in before I go back... I really don't think my boss is going to let me take another day off... I'm sure it'll be okay if I press the issue but going back 4 days a week I really don't want to push my luck in my first few weeks back... AND I'm yet to tell them I'm only back for 6 months...

:ecomcity: Preggie hormones and placenta brain have kicked in hard and fast and SO much sooner this time!! I just feel so stupid that I got the day wrong, wouldn't care if it was just a Drs appt, but something this big... :shame:

Agreed Kel... Where is Stella? Hope everything is okay...

Loved all the pics and that scrapbooking effort was fab maria. I have a page cut out for E but I haven't glued it or written yet.....hmmmmm.

Aw Widge, Placenta brain is the worst. I was forever turning up to appointments at the wrong time or on the wrong day when preggers, already having a bub just makes it worse. Hope the hospy can get you in :fingerscrossed: and hope miss A is doing well.
Look on the bright side, at least she'll be a little older for the appointment:o

We had a full on day here, Estella is 2. My baby is growing up, she got cake at daycare and chips for dinner and lots of pressies.

hugs and kisses everyone.....

Oh bloody smurf! I finally get back on and think I've only missed a few extra pages, but then find the new thread... I gotta get on more often! Apologies in advance for the mega post, but I'm going to attempt to catch up with all...

We are good. Was lovely to have my bestie over for the weekend and seeing our girls play together was great. She bought Nixie one of those foldout kiddie couches and Nix loves it! I'd never even thought of one as it didn't occur to me that she'd enjoy it so much. She's cut another two teeth so the nappy rash is back. This time it's just where the poo is though, not in the folds, so normal nappy rash for a change. But it's still sometimes bleeding and makes me so sad.

Since her last shaking and shivering ep, she hasn't done it again. I feel more at ease knowing other bubs do it on waking, but at the time I was so worried. I'm going to keep an out for it now as before I thought gav was exagerating when he mentioned it. But now I've seen it, I'm going to diary it so I can show her paed, just in case.

OK, I had single words written on a post it from days ago which are meant to prompt my personals, so I hope they still make sense! If I miss you, it's just my memory, I love reading from everyone and miss you all ! And I love all the photos and videos too! Plus I love all the scrapbooking, you ladies are getting me into another expensive habit...

Pegs - crikey! from feeling a bit taken for granted to princess for the day, woo hoo! Brekkie in bed and sleep, lucky you...

Mell - hugs for the no sleep atm. Is there a gentler form of cc? How is the house hunting going? I love the photos, especially the money shot, that is priceless!

Jac - poor faith! Glad she is ok and yay on the crawling. That is awesome on the counselling, the difference it can make is amazing. You sound much happier? Was it your birthday? Happy birthday

Haylie - he's got so much hair! Those mittens are too cute, i feel cold just seeing him so snug and warm! Any word from your agent?

Rach - hope all is going well with your book, blog etc. Hope the sleep picks up again. Are you still doing the tizzy routine?

Nay - snap on the face plant! Nixie did the A over T thing recently and blood was coming out of her mouth, gav freaked! Has she been able to eat and drink normally with her split lip? Oh, these poor bubbas and their spills. All part of growing up I suppose, but makes me sad

Maria - love the photos/pages. I thought you had put one of lina's pages in natty's section accidentally! There is one of nat's younger shots that looks so similar to lina atm. Yay on the crawling too!

Jayney - tired and retired! You are a trooper, so sorry you're not getting much sleep. Sending you some good sleep vibes... Will you look for new work or take a break?

Seek - how is cobes now? that's cute you're missing chris, so romantic!

TS - OMG about the rude guy and being in your undies! It's sad about taking your place off the market, but at least you're not in limbo for the moment. Happy bday to miss E ! And i love Anne too! Seven has been playing them and I still cried... I take it the SB fitteds are a hit? I have the organic velour pocket and it's divine, I love it.

Jess - fisticuffs? sounds violent! How is everything going with you? When does the new job and the alternating start? I was thinking, you are such a good photographer, the exhibition will still happen for you one day (I can feel it in my waters!). One thing I regret about my pregnancy is not getting more photos of it. Can you take some gorgeous photos of yourself throughout this one? I'm feeling clucky!

Tash - hope leyla is feeling better. What a gorgeous couple you are! No wonder Leyla is such a cutie! Love the dress, can't wait to see you in it, you'll look fab. Love leyla skirting around the bottom in the shots too, so cute.

Myz - the pic of your grandma was worth the wait! Sounds like your back is slowly on the mend. How is Kai now? Did he have the measles in the end? Is the lump finally going?

Kaz - what a mature outlook about the crush, isn't it a shock to realise you're so grown up? Ha, ha, gone are the days when we can go all moody and tanty, our bubbas have taken over that!! How did the move to the cot end up?

Mich - hope your and luci's colds are better. So nice to 'see' you again! All ok with you?

Widge - bugger about the appt but that happens to the best of us. Hope they can get you in soon. How are things at the new house? How is Miss A's back recovering?

Aimz - hiya! If you meet/met with Nay in the end, don't forget to post some piccies one of you. How is the new daycare going?

Ok, that's all I can decipher... Bed is calling

Darn it - just when you think you've caught up, you realise you haven't really!! A new thread, where the first post is the last one I did and yet, there's still 49 posts to read:eek:

Thanks for your comments girls - loved it - my Monday was pretty special (forgot to mention he steam mopped the floor too while I was on here doing some timesheets):D

We measured Miss K today - and it's official - she's small. She's 68.5cm and 7.1kg. Hmmm - is she the smallest??:detective:

Myz - lovely pics - forgot to ask (probably missed it when you've probably said), how's Mark with his new guitar? Is it a patch on the extra special old one?

HIGA and M2M - you put my scrapping to shame and make me think I need to start doing some....Haven't even done any with K in - if ever I do any, I still think there's too much I haven't done with A and the 2step kids.

Jac - glad to hear the counselling is going well. I'm pretty much a believer that getting the fella there is half the battle. Goes along the lines of you can't fix a problem you don't acknowledge.

Again - forgot to multi-quote...so have probably missed some out.

Oh - here's another - I love seeing pics of our bubbas with their mummies (nice ones from Mother's day Jac) it's getting clearer as they get older how much some of our little ones look like their mums!!!!

Promise tomorrow to start using multi-quote again, pretty sure I miss too much out when relying upon my memory.

I felt so moronic today...

:hugs: pregnancy brain is a pain in the butt though I'm sure the hospital people understand.. I had to go get my pin number changed when pg with Zac coz I couldn't remember it for the life of me..

She bought Nixie one of those foldout kiddie couches and Nix loves it!

Myz - the pic of your grandma was worth the wait! Sounds like your back is slowly on the mend. How is Kai now? Did he have the measles in the end? Is the lump finally going?

My boys have one of those couches, it's probably the most used piece of furniture.. even I use it
The only way to tell if it was measles was to give him a blood test and considering that either outcome is untreatable I didn't want to put him through a blood test when he was miserable enough already. The lump hasnt gone, will be asking MIL what she thinks when she gets here today.

Myz - lovely pics - forgot to ask (probably missed it when you've probably said), how's Mark with his new guitar? Is it a patch on the extra special old one?

He's using one a friend lent to him atm. He'll probably buy a new one when his tax return comes in. No guitar will come close to his old one unfortunately but he seems to have recovered and will happily play the one he's got whereas before just looking at it made him miserable, he even threw out his stand coz it depressed him.

happybirthday Miss Estella!! Hope you had a wonderful birthday sweetie!

My mum has been in Melbourne for the last few days, got back last night and came over this morning. She got the boys a t-shirt each. Kai's says "I'm too sexy for my nappy" and Zac's say "I dont have to behave, I'm a kid"

Waiting for MIL to come babysit me. Mark wasn't supposed to start work til 12 today but someone called in sick so he's had to go in early and wont be finishing til 9 or 10 tonight. poor bugger will be exhausted seeing as he did 8am - 9pm yesterday aswell.

You know I think it's only just sunk in that our bubba's are nearly 1.. Seems like yesterday that we were all chatting about sprinkler boobs and first smiles LOL..

better go, MIL's here.

{{{hugs}}} to all

She now loves her bottle.. she goes crazy when you say.. do you want bot bot.. kicks her legs and waves her arms.. and best of all I can put her down with it and she feeds herself!! Are you able to make it to my place next weds, would love to see you and the boys again xx

Mell - Glad to hear you had a good nights sleep, Nix must have told Faith to play up in his place.. lol. BTW did your hubby get that promotion to the GC? I think I may have missed that too. If so, when does he have to start???

happybirthday E!!! Hope she had a great day TS and acted the part of party girl to a T!!! Tis every girls right after all....

Not much from me.... trying to make the most of my baby free day..... and trying to get some order back to the house..... love the fact that P is almost walking but could do with a little less of the stuff strewn from one end of the house to the other...

For those of you I was chatting to the other night, my old job got offered to the candidate they had at second interview already.... so obviously was not meant to be.....

Am busily applying to be on some temp registers..... and eagerly awaiting uni application results.... figure I can prob manage to do the two at once, and have the best of both worlds.....

Also made the decision that regardless of whether I am to meet someone now, or in the next 5 yrs, no more kiddies for me, at least until I have my career/education sorted and a career is firmly established..... I even made the brash decision of selling ALL Miss P's clothes that are too little for her, along with her bath, etc..... feel great about it too....

Hopefully this is enough to kick my period of nil motivation and get back into the swing of things....

Karen - finally getting routine back.... which has meant i'm getting a little more sleep, and P spends the majority of the night in her portacot in my room.... am thinking that in the next few weeks we'll take the next step of her moving to her room....

Sydney Gals.... would love to trek down to see you gals soon..... only day thats out in the next week or so is next mon (pub hol) and thurs (getting a new tatt)....

I probably have been, but being on dial up atm and have so much going on, I only post a little and it seems like I'm not into it much, but i have only been skim reading as I don't get much time on here these days and you girls can talk!!

I haven't looked at ANY pics or vids for at least 2 threads as I'm always playing catch up when I get on here and am pressed for time...

Always got DF nagging me of a night now to go to bed at the same time as him so I can't do the bottles and hang around online as he is so buggered from work, just refuses to go to bed without me... Not sure why, I can easily and happily go to bed without him!!

Miss A has been going to bed later and waking earlier too... But... I did briefly see tooth no 7 the other day... First one that's played with us, it's gone again now... Never had this with the other 6!!

Better go unpack some more boxes, have to give them back tomorrow...

Pretty much! As it happens both my boys are sleeping now and I have a headache so despite all the book and house work I have to do, I'm gonna go get some zzzz.

Ham has started having an arvo nap again, which is good becauseI get time during the day but bad cos he doesn't go to bed till 8p or 8.30pm now!!

Anyway head throbbing...

Oh Kaz - good on you for making a decision that you feel really happy about. I on the other hand am thinking I want ONE MORE!!

love the fact that P is almost walking but could do with a little less of the stuff strewn from one end of the house to the other...

For those of you I was chatting to the other night, my old job got offered to the candidate they had at second interview already.... so obviously was not meant to be.....

Also made the decision that regardless of whether I am to meet someone now, or in the next 5 yrs, no more kiddies for me,

HEHEHE!!! i know what you mean about the toys. Angel is confined to the lounge room so whe gets her toys everywhere!!!! i clean them up about 5 times a day i think

bummer about the job, but good luck with the other stuff you're going for

:hugs: i'm glad you're sorting some 'life' stuff out. it really helps sometimes i think.

Always got DF nagging me of a night now to go to bed at the same time as him so I can't do the bottles and hang around online as he is so buggered from work, just refuses to go to bed without me... Not sure why, I can easily and happily go to bed without him!!

:hugs: hope you get all your stuff sorted too. guys can really be big sooks sometimes!!!

Possibly, but not by much. We had L weighed last Tues. She was 71cm and 7.9kg!

It's getting very exciting all our bubs bdays comming up, I have to start organising leyla's- or maybe it's a little early?

Hi!!
How is everyone today?

We've had a good day, although it started out a little slow. I don't know what went wrong this morning but we ended up being half an hour late for mothers group even though i started getting ready at the normal time. Once there we had a great time, Mason loved playing with all his little mates. When we got home we both had a nap for a couple of hours, it was lovely.

I felt so moronic today...

That is such an easy mistake to make, try not to feel bad about it. Other than that how are you feeling? How many weeks are you now? I've been thinking of you heaps, I hope we can catch up in chat again soon.
Your dog Fitz sounds sooo cute! I have a maltese (Harry) and a maltese x ****zu (Daisy) who is actually Harry's daughter and they're just adorable. You should post a pic of your doggies for us to see!

i had another ultrasound and things havent changed. So i just have to wait and see i suppose.

HUGE HUGS Naomi. :fingerscrossed: everything is fine with this little bub and that he/she sticks in there. Do you get another ultrasound or another check-up again soon? Keep us updated.

Haylie - he's got so much hair! Those mittens are too cute, i feel cold just seeing him so snug and warm! Any word from your agent?

Glad to hear you had a great time with your bestie and her little girl, it's wonderful getting together when you haven't seen someone for ages. Have you heard anymore about the job you applied for?
As for the house stuff- the agent thinks we may need to drop the price even more as it is SO slow in this area at the moment. I think we will have to do it because we just need to sell and can't stand this waiting. We are lucky I guess that we are going to make so much money on the house that we are able to drop the price so much. My BIL is in the process of selling his house and I feel so sorry for him, if he drops the price at all then he will end up making no money at all :(

It's getting very exciting all our bubs bdays comming up, I have to start organising leyla's- or maybe it's a little early?
Have a nice day everyone
xoxoxoxo

It is so exciting isn't it!! I can't believe the bubs are ONE. I don't think it's too early to start planning Leyla's party- I have started buying stuff for Mason's. You can never be over-prepared for these things IMO lol.

We had a great night last night, Nix only woke up at 3am then went straight back to sleep after his feed then slept till 6am.

That's great to hear Mel- it makes the world of difference having a good sleep. Have you tried the cc yet? It is sooo hard to begin with, it rips your heart out but well worth it in the end I think. I've only had to use it a couple of times with Mason, it's amazing how quickly they pick things up.
Glad to hear Bodhi had fun at the indoor play centre.

Faith woke at 11.30pm last night and right or wrong wanted to play! I eventually got her to go back down at 2.30am.. she then slept till 6am.What tha!
Thanks for the birthday wishes, my dh gave me a new wallet and tickets to 'Pink' this Friday night.. I can't wait! How is everything with you and Gav now? I hope its all going well. Sounds like you had a nice time on the w-end hanging with your bestie.. those weekends are priceless, esp when they have kids too!

I hope you get a better nights sleep tonight Jac :hugs: . WOW- you did so well for your birthday!!! You will have to take some pics on Friday night to show us (if that's allowed?).

Oh how i am feeling clucky!

Me too!! We are having the baby talk in our house, we might not be waiting until the house sells before we start trying

For those of you I was chatting to the other night, my old job got offered to the candidate they had at second interview already.... so obviously was not meant to be.....

Sorry to hear about the job Kaz, but like you said it was obviously not meant to be. Temp work sounds like a great idea, plus would probably mean more time to focus on your uni studies.

Hi to everyone I've missed- I am thinking of you all.

At this stage we'll be coming to the bubs 1st birthday party, Paul shouldn't be working that day so we will come and stay with my bestie in Brissie. I've noticed our name is on the list so thank you for that. The only other thing that may stop us is one of the bubs from my mothers group is having her party around that time (her bday is the 27th of June) but hopefully it will be on the weekend after.

Have to share- Paul has been soo wonderful lately, I don't know what's gotten into him! He has let me sleep in every single morning that he's home, has bathed Mason every night and has been extra affectionate without expecting anything in return iykwim. Let's hope this lasts!!

Better go bath my boy who has managed to pour his juice all over his lap.....

Hi ladies,

Do any of you ladies watch playschool of a morning on the ABC or on ABC2?

Well anyway they made a ute out of two boxes which I thought was excellent and they had also made shoes out of boxes. I think they have some useful and practical ideas of things to make for our little ones. Just an idea. They have some real clever things to do with your kids.

M2M - just wondering if you made the potato and leek soup?

Kel - yep we will all be there for the meet on the 24th June. Looking forward to it and looking forward to meeting you.,

Rach - how is your book going?

Jacqui. - is it this Wednesday? COuld you PM me your address as I would like 2 try and make it. What time and what would u like me 2 bring?

Other ladies. I am not good on personals so my apologies.

Widge - how is your little one?

Nel hope you are feeling well.

Mel - I can relate to your sleep problems. We are having the same dramas and it would b nice to have an hour or so in bed with my darling hubby as we don't seem to get that sort of time anymore. the boys are consuming so much time through the night and I would love also to have a sleep that is more than and hour long at night.

Lollie how are u going?????????????? I think you are so unreal.

Mel - can hardly wait to meet u.

Maria - how are U going? I am getting bitten nipples so I can totally understand how you felt a week or so ago.

Seek - how is Cobes.

MD look forward to meeting you soon and also Kel and Aims.

Tiinyscore - A big hi to you.

Kaz - love your strength. Is it touch footy u play? I love touch footy and have played a bit of rep footy in my past but I have become an old ***** now and don't have the time for exercise anymore much to my disgust as I am in the worst shape that I have ever been.

Hi to everyone else - Lili B - how is your gorgeous girl. Tommy is still keen on her u know.

Tash - nice wedding dress when is the wedding?

I am so sorry if I have missed anyone but sending a big hi to everyone.

Love
Jayney

How exciting about the cake!! I'm not sure what we'll get Mason, we were gonna get a star named after him but its about $200 and money is a bit tight at the moment. I have no idea what to get, what are you getting Leyla??
About the bottle steralising thing, the CHN told me you don't have to do them after 6 months but I still do Mason's. Each day I say I'm gonna stop doing them but I can't bring myself to stop. I figure I'll stop doing it when he's 12 months old

M2M - i just wanted to give you big :hugs: and say it's great that dh is treating you well. so he should, you're a beautiful person and mumma and you deserve to be spoiled!!

Congrats to Angel on winning some ribbons!! That is so wonderful, she'll think they're so spesh when she gets a bit older.
Thanks for the hug, that means a lot to me. DH is being wonderful tonight also- he's cooking roast chicken, YUMMY!! And he hung out the washing for me 'cause it's too cold outside  I love him to bits, especially when he's in this sort of mood LOL.

Haha... nope its rugby union that I play.... and let me tell you I am def in the worst shape I have ever been too..... fitness is not such an issue, but I'm having some issues with my feet and knees.... too much too soon.... just trying to overcome my injuries so thank goodness we don't play this weekend....

I have played a fair bit of rep footy in my past too.... and it is oh so frustrating going from having a reputation as a decent player to not even being able to run properly.... Sydney meet up

I am planning to come down for a bit of a stay but not sure on the dates yet - Seek, do you know the dates that you get back from NZ and into Syd?

Nellie - I know I asked but I am not sure what you answered (I am really sorry ladies I have been missing heaps lately) how is your back, how is your recovery? Are you feeling any benefits yet or will it be a while? Have you been advised about having or not having more babies in the future after this op?

Pink concern eh - you funky thing you Jac! How fun- man she has gusto! it is great to have you back on line with us by the way Jac - we missed your smiling face in here. And thanks for the congrats - going along quite well in the belly department!

Tash - I just love your approach to life, so calm and casual - In my opinion you don't have ANY improvements to make before you tie the knot

Kazza - good luck with the job search - temping can be huge fun - diversity etc. And I love the decision that you have made, most of all because when you make decisions that are set in stone life has the most delightful ways of ballsing up your plans
;)

Mini M - wow that was a huge post from you! How on earth did you get old Joe off the pute for THAT long!

Jayney (M2M - I think she is our JAYNEE) - was great to talk to you today and yes I am very much looking forward to meeting you and yours too! I am never that well organised to remember what time playschool is on - now that M is that bit older I really must try harder!

You gorgeous women that I have missed I am SO sorry - i am such a ditz at the moment - I just don't have the attention span to remember anything else

And to think that I promised myself I would stay in touch in this new thread!

I will say ahead of time that I will miss out on all news from Sat to Fri as i am off to join Scott for my first stay in Cracow - he is in the camp and I will be staying in the one and only hotel (pub) but at least the children will get to see him a little bit after work

Oh and Shea - I got a shock looking at your new avatar - Little Connor is NOT little anymore  He really shows just how old they all are! I love your great big heart - you are a beautiful mummy and the love you have for that son of yours will get you through any and all tough times you may have with a (tricky *trying to find a word that fits here is hard as I mean no offence to your handsome hubby!) DH

Right well now that I have shoved my foot firmly into my mouth I'll be off!

Might have a squiz in live to see if any of you are lurking in there

Mell - hope tonight is the alnight sleep that you need oh so much!

Girls, I'm going to have to ask you (nicely of course) to sHUT UP! I can't keep up...

Have just been working on edits for a few hours, but am about to curl up in bed - hubby was there hours ago as he was out last night on a call.

Rach, good on you for thinking about a 3rd, braver the me.

I think INSANE may be the better word.

Rach - how is your book going?
.

Thanks for asking - I'm so busy with it at the moment. In fact, I've just started a blogspot on my progress - check it out http://breastfeedersanonymous.blogspot.com/
I hope this doesn't get 'beeped' out by Maria as it's not really publicity just a journey of my book. I'm only giving it to friends at this stage.

Anyway thanks for those who told me to get rid of the headache, think it's worked, although if I don't go to bed soon, it'll be back.

Hi everyone!
I haven't been near a PC in yonks, DH has been hogging his and the others are kinda-half-dead or something!
Wow, I must be so behind. Still, its good to catch up a bit and have a read thru your chitchat.
Eliana is doing well, walking for a few weeks now and running about sometimes. She had gastro for 5 days and is only just getting over it. DS had it too but not as bad. I have 3 loads of washing on the line, we went thru countless loads in the 5 days as being mobile she was just walking about and barfing everywhere tmi!
Well, I've gotta get to bed as I'm worn out. I'm still bf so the last few days have been hard, its not nice feeding then having bub chuck it up, it felt like those early weeks when they chuck up all the time!
Well tt4n
PS For Maria, still haven't told DD1 about periods, it's on my 2 do list though!

Hello nel how are you hun xoxoxo

 I'm alright thanks darl. Tired but good..

Nellie - I know I asked but I am not sure what you answered (I am really sorry ladies I have been missing heaps lately) how is your back, how is your recovery? Are you feeling any benefits yet or will it be a while? Have you been advised about having or not having more babies in the future after this op?

I'm doing well, scars almost completely healed, still some muscle tenderness and still not allowed to lift anything. The pain in my leg has been gone since the morning after the op which is wonderful considering they said it could take 6wks for the pain to go.. As for having more bubs, it's perfectly alright but I'll just have to be extra cautious and probably have to have bubs weight etc monitored and possible a c/sec if bubs is big.

Hi everyone!

:hugs: Good to hear from you!!

Had a pretty crappy night last night, not because of Kai though for a change lol.. My stomach was sore and I was up and down to the loo all bloody night, typically Kai slept really well
Gotta go get my L's renewed today so I can get my act together and get my license..

You wouldn't believe it if you had been there when they told me Kim!!

We now have a follow up with Physio for development on the 22nd... I nearly died!!

Is the 29th pushing it? We can do another day if we do it in the next three weeks...

The appt on the 22nd is at 1pm at the Childrens Hospy in Westmead so I'm not going to be able to stay for long so I can get there in time...

Would you believe it??

Time to tell you about my day...

Went in for clinic appt with spina bifida and neurosurgeon...

They decided to do the developmental assessment while we were there...

Nothing she would say Miss A is lackng in, just needs to be coaxed into new directions... i.e. sit from crawling and laying positions, crawl from sitting position etc... Need to get an activity table to make her try and climb and need to get something for her to put things into iykwim...

Follow ups every fortnight for a while and major check overs every 6 months...

I came away feeling happy but now I'm all torn again!!

I'll get over it, she is doing so much better since the surgery and I'm not complaining!!

Oh and as of 11:15am today Miss A is 75cms and 10.25kgs!!!

Aghhh dont you hate when that happens, That just happend to me! How are you and your DD, hope everything with your pregnancy is going well, are you craving anything?

Yep, I used to copy all my posts just in case, but haven't done that for months now...
We're good, she's going sideways and moving around, not crawling yet, but still sorta on the move!! Pregnancy seems to be going ok... touch of nausea with the occasional :barf: but really only the sore (.)(.)s again... :fingerscrossed: it stays that way!! I wouldn't really say I have cravings... More, things I wouldn't be able to stomach at the time!!

Miss A had the hugest nap this afternoon!! 2 1/2 hours!! She never naps for that long, must have worn her out playing with all the toys at the assessment!!

Naomi glad you had a relaxing day... On the MIL thing, maybe DH was trying to let you rest up - knowing how much you need it!!

My PC is set up but we don't have the modem and long phone cord here yet so if I manage chat tonight I might have to re-dial in a few times LOL IF the connection will let me in, should do...

i just rang the rspca to see if diesel had found a home. they had to put him down cause he was too agressive and wasn't even trusting the workers at the end

Oh Kel huge :hugs: hugs for you. That made me sad reading that, but at least Diesel is in doggie heaven and probably having a great time :hugs:

Hi to everyone else, i have been reading but feel too cold to be bothered writing anything interesting LOL. It is FREEZING here, my hands and feet feel like they are gonna fall off from frost-bite HAHA! We have the heater going but it doesn't seem to be heating fast enough. Paul has just ducked down to woolies to buy us some chocolate YUM and a little present for my hairdresser friend from mothers group who is going to cut Mason's hair for me tomorrow. We have to be there at 8am  as they are going to a wedding that day- Mason's doesn't usually wake up before 8am!! I will have to get up early to be ready on time. I will take some pics of his first hair cut to share. I can't believe I'm getting his hair cut when he's so young but it's just so long at the back and starting to look bad- I like clean cut boys lol.

Does this cold weather remind anyone else of being pregnant this time last year? I am sooooo missing being pregnant and snuggling into bed feeling Mason move around in my belly and the excitement of it all. This time last year I had just finished work and was washing all the baby stuff and packing my hospital bag- hard to believe how much has changed since then hey.

Who is heading into chat tonight? And what time?

p.s LOL yep Tasha, that probably makes you a born-again virgin lol!! I bet you are hanging out for Suat to get back ;)

Hi everyone
Sorry to hear about your dog Kel. We had a similar problem with our dog, he was too hyper and aggressive (an old rescue dog) near DD and I was a single mum as we were separated for 6 months... I couldn't trust him near the bub. Sometimes you don't have a choice. Actually my parents had a dog which turned against my brother... it attacked him and bit a huge chunk out of his backside, they had to put the dog down, if he'd been lying on his back he wouldn't be a man
Hope you feel better soon Nel. One of my mates lives in your burb and was down there the other day and thought "oooh Nel lives down 'ere!"
Hope you guys all stay clear of the gastro. Since being ill I am staying clear of anone with the slightest cold or sniffle! I really don't fancy any more hassle.
Well my eldest has been so sweet, she has been rubbing my back and made me a cup of tea! Just think what you mummies have to look forward to in 8 years time lol!
Take care x

I'M FREEZING MY T!TS OFF!!!!! Sadly the cold has not perked them up, just frozen them...

Oh dear, I didn't think it had been that long since my last post, but the pages have mounted!

I think Nixie is joining the bubbas who have decided to go to one day nap. Unfortunately she's not a good girl like Miss A who has a nice long sleep, it was only about an hour. I'm going to see if I can get her to have one long sleep in the middle of the day... wish me luck!

I can't remember who had the good memory and asked about the job, but I got to the next stage and will have an interview mid june :fingerscrossed: as I just want to know either way so I know if i need to find childcare etc.

Anyone else having irregular periods? I started the pill but gave up after two months. Since coming off it about 7 months ago, all my periods have been out of whack. This one is still late, about 5 or 6 weeks since my last - I've even taken 3 preg tests but it's not that. Plus I've completely broken out in spots, especially on my chin. Bloody annoying for a nearly 30 year old! Got a docs appt on wed to check it out as I think we may start ttc some time soonish and it'll be bloody hard to figure out ov's without a regular AF...

Oooh, I forgot to say that I got my secret bday pressie in the mail and thanks to the mumma who sent it. I won't say who as I think Maria is doing a reveal at the end? I will post mine after the long weekend here.

I've given up on the older personals I had written down as they won't even make sense anymore lol. big :hugs: to all the sick bubbas, especially the chesty ones. Nixie has a cold atm, but so far (touch wood) it's not yet her 4th bloody chest infection...

Nay - love the scrapping, especially the sisters pages. Those photos are so nostaglic and remind me of growing up with my sis's. Bella is a cute doggie too, she's a beagle right?

Mich - even more nostalgia with the cubby house! I used to love homemade ones inside, those photos are just gorgeous. Is Luci's full name Lucia? Great name, I love it

Naomi - happy b'day!!! Glad you got some sleep as a pressie lol. How are you feeling?

Myz - WTG Kai! Such a cute vid

Maria - sorry about your holiday to Italy : (

Kel - rip diesel :hugs:. I was thinking of you actually, M&B or PP (can't remember which) has an article about increasing your ttc chances.

Jac - cute bath pics! I'm so jealous, she is such a good girl sitting in the bath lol. Nixie is the only baby I've seen who doesn't just bloody SIT in a bath. She's gotta get up and wonder around so I had to put a mat in there or she slides all over the place...

Widge - glad the appt was positive, have you got any new photos of miss a? I guess it's a bit hard though with the dial up though? Hope they get your broadband sorted soon. How are you feeling?

Shea - yep, me too for harry potter! how exciting with ditching the pill

Bessie - your eldest DD is an angel !

just thought it would share.... )

Hiya! Are you another july mumma? so are your bubs nearly 1, 2 and 3 yrs old?

hi to everyone else too. love youse all (and no, i haven't been drinking!). I've got something to finish tonight but if i get time I'll try chat.

Evening gals

Bessie - so great to have you back! Glad to see you haven't slipped off the face of the earth.

Kel - so sorry to hear about Diesel, pets are so much a part of our lives...

Anyway just a quickie as still working but HAD to tell you all this. Today Ham was painting and when I asked him what one of the pics was he said ''This is mummy holding her hairbrush and this is Hamish holding onto her Gi-na'' (as in Vagina!) What the??

Oh pick me.... Pip is like this too.... I couldn't count how many times in one bath I say... "Sit down on your bottom please".... or "If you don't sit down you'll have to hope out"..... usually the first ends in her response of grabbing her bottom to show me thats where it is..... or sitting down as soon as I get up to get her out..... such an obedient child she is.....

Well I'm off to grab a glass of wine and some toast.... watch some more of The L word from last night.... might pop into chat if P stays

Oh and good luck with the interview Karen... I actually have an interview next thurs with a temp agency.... they actually kept mentioning a role that would be full time for a mth then permanent part time.... have been upfront with them about uni, so will have to wait and see what happens.....

Happy B'day J's ma - you little Aussie champion you!

Well I have JUST got M to bed! Had a mixed up sort of a day which resulted in a late sleep for her but oh well

Bessie  welcome back - and STOP leaving us!

Tash, Kaz, (and a few others this may be relevant to!) - you only count as a virgin if you don't have a handy friend!!!

jac - hope you are crowd surfing as we speak my love - right in the middle of the mosh pit!! Yeah I'm not entirely sure how it happened either - must be a girl sperm (they go the long yards!) as we only shagged once and WAY before ovulation!

Meant to be I guess

Kazza - pack away your really special things in a bag just in case the flooding goes nuts inside your house, can happen VERY quickly

Three cheers Kai - very fond of his mummy is he - and well he should be!

Well ladies I am offline until next Fri (might try and pop in again later tonight or in the morrow) - my first stint in Crakow

And with so much chat there is no way I can keep up while I am away!

So have a great week

And I have an interview next Thurs too funny enough Kaz - must be the day for it

Nixy - sounds painful, freezing til the old bazookas come off!

I dearly want to join you all in chat but I am just too tired and have oodles of washing to do before bed etc

Kel - I am sorry if I sound heartless here darlin' heart - please remember in the country we have to deal with large numbers of animals and while they are ALL loved dearly and ALL cared for greatly - there is a time and a place to let go

Every now and again (often due to excessive streamlining in the breeding) something just goes wrong and once it does, well it is no good no matter what you try - if it were me I would be relieved that this decision was made as it proves without doubt that you did the right thing

Seriously my love - there is a fine line and you COULD have lost your gorgeous baby if you didn't take the action that you did! Try to put it out of your head about him

Again I am really sorry if I sound a bit cold on this one

Sorry to hear about that kel, It must be very upsetting at the moment for you :hugs:

Lol, I don't know about you kaz but iv'e gotten all prudish coz of the lack of it. If i see anyone kissing on tv im like "aghh turn it off, turn it off" and if i see a sex scene, it's like "wow do people really do that still" it's really weird i know!

HELLO MUMMY23UNDA4  nice to meet you!!!

Nix- I am with you on the irregular periods. About 3 weeks ago i thought i would go back on the pill to regulate them better and ease of the p pains, but after 10 days on them i started bleeding again and the worst pimples came up. I went to the docs and asked them about it they gave me a different brand but same thing happend. Also my breats were really sore and tender? So now im just going to stay off them, it's not like im going to get pregnant or anything lol.

Mr P learnt how to say "no" first he was just being cheeky now he is saying "no" to his sister when she yanks on his willy in the bath.

 That's so cute kim.

Tash - Well - won't you be welcoming the October homecoming LOL ?!!

Lol yeah but also very scared for when the time comes as im not the same as i was when i was 19 lol. I didn't need to wear big mumma bras back then  xoxox

Would have loved to stay and chat last night but i got these really bad pains that i had been getting all day. Gotta go the docs today to check up on leyla's breathing, hope it's not anything bad. hope everyone has a nice day, is anyone chatting tonight?

I hope things aren't too hard to handle Ronnie!! :hugs:

Silly me forgot to gloat a few days ago!!

I bit the bullet... Miss A now eats weetbix for breakfast - with cows milk!!! Both were new to her and no sugar (like my mum said) and she loves it (I do use hot water though as well)!!

She picks up her toast on her own - I don't cut into strips anymore - and devours 2 slices, funny thing is the vegemite is only ever on her hands... My little miss doesn't miss her mouth lol!!

Oh... I always had problems getting her to have fluids other than her milk...

Twice now she's had 1/2 plastic cup (disposable from the move) of OUR juice!! Tropical Punch to be exact!! First time was full strength coz I got it for me - little rat - 2nd one was 1/2 strength...

I know what I'm getting her for her birthday now - by order of her physio...

A Fisher Price activity table (she was specific in her brand) for her to climb up and a toy thingy where you blocks through holes... She's good with taking things off and getting them out, now we have to get her to put things on/in... AND I have to give her thigs to make noise with... I'm going to miss my quiet household!!

Seeing as I don't have anything for her to be a nuisance with... What do you all give your bubbas to play with?? Her blocks aren't wood, they're foam so they won't work...

Kim have you by any chance found that info on where Mr P should be at??

Suze it was good to meet you last night, hope you don't feel too overwhelmed by all our chatter!! Remember if you have any questions... Just ask! Someone here has to be able to help in some way!! If not we will find out for you!! You should have stayed up a bit later! It was about 15 mins after you left the girls came in and we had that private room I was telling you about... All good though... next time maybe, those chats normally happen Fri and Sat nights...

Oh... Nee I went back through those photos... I don't care what brand it is... I would NOT pay that much for so little plastic that the kids are only gonna destroy anyway!! Oh hang on... I was looking at one of those plastic slippery dips... Never mind LOL...

I meant to mention to you again last night (was in the post I lost the other day)... You know how you said you hadn't been responding to my txts coz of your bill?? I got mine last week... 350 txt messages!! It was $50 something for txt alone!! Lucky I'm on first on 3 or it would have been a lot worse!! I txt so much because I get 15c txt - when 3 started out was the best possible time to sign up... DF lost his phone which is why he's not on it anymore - I weighed it all up and he's better on a cap, I might have to increase it actually, he's spending over $200 in calls alone!! In 3 1/2 years he's only had 2 bills under $100... In 3 1/2 years, I've only had 2 bills that are over $100 (one was this month!! )...

Anyway... :ecomcity:

All good Tash!! Maybe you should see the Dr too when you take Leyla in... Hope all is well with her breathing and it's nothing to worry about!!

I'll be trying to chat tonight... Depends on this place...

Oh, I forgot to say in the last post...

DF is livid!! He went to the garage for something this morning before he left for work... It's under water!!!! Cupboards etc are all ruined, I had bubba stuff on the floor in there... That probably isn't sellable anymore... not sure if the stuff I wanted to keep for this bubba are there too or not...

On a different note... Miss A was eating her toast, finished one slice then started playing with the blanket she's sitting on... She's having a great time!! Gonna head off for a little bit and get her the other piece of toast (it is on the floor in front of her!) and put some washing on...

"Sit down on your bottom please".... usually the first ends in her response of grabbing her bottom to show me thats where it is.....

I actually have an interview next thurs with a temp agency

ROFLMAO - that's so funny, miss Pip is such a clever lil gal!! good luck with the interview, that's great news :hugs: was Stevie ok??

Kel - I am sorry if I sound heartless here darlin' heart

no, everyone sees things differently. just very guilty feelings on my part.

going through a tough time at the moment - will probably let you all in on it tomorrow - very unsure what I'm supposed to be doing, and yet, also trying to work out how to give DH support

huge :hugs: to you, you're such a wonderful mum and such a caring person. i hope you can sort it out. we are here when you need us, xxoo.

Lol yeah but also very scared for when the time comes as im not the same as i was when i was 19 lol. I didn't need to wear big mumma bras back then

Would have loved to stay and chat last night but i got these really bad pains that i had been getting all day. Gotta go the docs today to check up on leyla's breathing, hope it's not anything bad. hope everyone has a nice day, is anyone chatting tonight?

hehe, he will love to see you no matter what, don't even worry about it :hugs:

i hope you and Leyla are ok, make sure you both get checked out, xxoo.

I bit the bullet... Miss A now eats weetbix for breakfast - with cows milk!!! Both were new to her and no sugar (like my mum said) and she loves it (I do use hot water though as well)!!

that's great news about miss A doing and eating more things!!! she's really coming along now *huge hugs & kisses to you both*

well, for a change i join you ladies in the sleeping thing. Angelwas awake from 12-2.30 this morn. i know she's sick becasue she never does this. even her cry is different, it sounds horrible. my poor bubba.

Hi everyone,

hope you had a nice time chatting last night, sorry widge butr my puter crashed and I was sooo tired I fell slepp before I could reboot.

Nix- yep, irregular periods here. I go anywhere from 40-60 days  It's gonna be kinda hard to get pregnant when I rarely ovulate
I think I'm lving proof that it's possible. It took me 6 months to fall preg with miss E, but I fell on the 4th cycle. I used to have such a hard time expalining the concept of my LMP to docs and middies I just made one up

OK I didn't really want to post the stuff from What to expect the toddler years cos it's from 12 months up
but due to popular demand.....
at the end of you baby's 12th month they should be able to.....
pull up to standing
get themselves to sitting
cruise
clap hands (doesn't have to be their own they can clap your hand)
indicate wants in ways other than crying

They might be able to:
put an object into a container
imitate activities
stand alone
use 1 word

they may possibly:
drink from a cup
use 2 recognisable words

I used to find that E would be able to do some stuff and not others, she would be good at the physical things, but not the speaking.

P can get all the fine motor and speach stuff, but lacks on the physical side.

so please dont stress out if your bub cant do everything on the list

Glad to hear Miss A is coming along well Widge

Thinking of you Pegs, your DH and the stepkids are lucky to have such a great support as you.

well I'm off to clean up. I woke up at 8am today  DH went to work at 6.30, so E had been running riot unsupervised for 1.5hours. She got into the fridge and was feeding Mr P cheese sices through the bars of his cot.
nb I am not a bad mummy, I had woken at 4.30 to change soppy nappies and fell asleep on the lounge room floor, my home is toddler proof (will have to do something about the fridge). At least I was in the same area as the mischief, not locked away in my bedroom.......

on that note  bye

Kel when Miss A had the cough before her surgery, the Dr told me to get Demazin for children for her... It def helped her cough. I would def ask before you get it though, to be safe...

I figured something like that happened!! All good :D

She can almost get to sitting on her own...
Clap hands
Drink from a cup if I'm holding it - only recent as she would only have milk from a bottle before last week!!

She doesn't really imitate, we imitate her and she LOVES it!!

If I get the bottle or food before she tells me she's starving she claps her hands in excitement and swings her arms and goes "aaahhharrrgghhaaaarrraarrggghhh" yelling happily!!

Sounds like we're close to having a word so thats good!!

Thanks for that Kim! I'm not worried :D She can do a few of those so I'm happy!! The cruising and standing alone I'm not worried about as she was delayed 10 months with her spinal cord probs...

All in all she's doing quite well from that list!!

It actually makes me feel better Kim THANKS!! :smiliedance:

was Stevie ok??

Yep... she has two days off work so she was nowhere near there.... mind you things have been pretty woeful down our way too.... my poor sis went through a bit of an ordeal last night.... which entailed wading through waist deep water, ditching her car and having strangers take her in..... apparently there was a guy on a jetski rescuing people from their cars....

Hope Angel gets better soon..... there is also a Brauers natural cough relief that could be worth a try....

TS - E is such a good big sis.... I'm sure Paddy was thankful.... you can get latches for the fridge, but they are pretty ugly... lol....

Seek - I should be with you on cleaning the house.... maybe I'll get to it today, maybe not.... can't really go anywhere cos the roads are a mess and not sure which ones are closed/underwater/or covered in trees & powerlines.....hopefully we'll be right tomorrow cos I need banana's and bread.... worst case scenario I might actually have to make some....

Pegs - hope your holding up ok....

Widge - Thats great that A is expanding her culinary tastes.... at the moment P's favourite toys are anything in the tupperware cupboard.... but she does enjoy her walker thing.. which has a shape sorter on the front and plays tunes.... and a couple of cheap musical instruments I got off ebay.... drum thing, and a flapper....

If you want something cheap and easy that makes noise, we have a couple of old empty water bottles that are partly filled with rice or pasta.... they make great shakers..... you could get adventurous and fill them with all sorts of things.... buttons, bells, anything the imagination thinks up.....

Morning gals

In the library...

Widg - Kaz' suggestions are great as are buying some musical instruments. They don't have to be expensive, most toy stores have them as do music shops!

Kaz - Lach is exactly the same in the bath.. Hamish and I spend most of the time telling him to sit down, stop touching the taps, stop drinking the water, etc.

Re the talk on AFs! I haven't had mine at all yet!! Came back at 10months with Ham, so I think we've beaten a record.

Pegs - a Perth meet sounds good but I don't think I'll be up for quite a while, so you bettter go ahead without me! :gloomy: Thinking of you and DH and whatever is going on with the DSKs too.

All good Tash!! Maybe you should see the Dr too when you take Leyla in... Hope all is well with her breathing and it's nothing to worry about!!
I'll be trying to chat tonight... Depends on this place...

Hey widge thanks for that, I just got back from the doctors, we both have a viral bug that's going around, As long as leyla is drinking her milk and active enough she said she will be okay. Might be on chat tonight, as I may have a cyber date with my sexy man. lol

Tash, have you heard anymore about Suat's visa? Would you go over there to live? Let us know how you go at the Docs.

Hey Mell thanks for ur concern hun, Yeah we will be okay, hope the bug doesn't last long. How are your lil rug rats?
With suat he was supposed to hear from the Aust embassy in Ankara last month, they said they would send him an email or call him to come down for a meeting, as he is in cypruss atm, No email or call, It's getting ridiculas im so sick of this **** i just want him hear now.

I really thought he would be here by Leyla's 1st bday but turns out Im very doubtfull he will.
 so yeah, Im a bit upset about the whole situation. I feel like im getting mucked around with! Thanks for asking hun, means alot to me that you and everyone here cares xoxoxo

Hi Sexy Mumma's !!!

How is everyone on this COLD and miserable day?
Mason got his first hair cut today! He looks so cute, more grown up I think. I took pics but haven't loaded them onto photobucket yet, I'll do that later.

Peg- I hope things are ok at your end. Huge :hugs: for you and your family. Feel free to share whenever you are ready xoxo

M23U4- I meant to say WELCOME earlier!! I caught a little bit of you in chat last night but look forward to getting to know you better. You are in Sydney is that right? Tell us all about your little ones- you must have your hands full!!

Tash- you crack me up re the 'big mumma bras' HAHA!! Sounds like it's turning into such an ordeal getting your man back. Hopefully you get some good news soon. It is going to be so amazing when you are finally together as a family, well worth the wait :hugs: Glad to hear that yours & Leyla's sickness isn't anything too serious. I don't know if I'll be chatting tonight, I'm so tired from last night but see how we go, I might pop in to say hello.

Widge- Miss A is doing so well!!! And you sound heaps happier now since you've been in the new place, perhaps less stressed. Her birthday pressie sounds great!!

Kel- Huge :hugs: for little Angel. I hope she is feeling better soon. Let us know how you go at the chemist.

Mrs Star- yep, i agree, it is so hard when the Dr asked when your LMP was- with Mason I told them when it was and so they estimated me to be 3 months pregnant when i was only 6 weeks! He took 3 months of TTC but that was only one full cycle iykwim. I'm hoping the next bub comes quicker than that, I can't stand the suspense of waiting LOL.
Estella sounds so cheeky feeding P through his cot slats hehe! It's kinda sweet though, she musta thought he was hungry!

Nikki- have fun cleaning today:rolleyes: I am meant to be doing that today but just can't get motivated.

Kaz- that is so scary what your sis went through. I've been hearing about the flooding on the news and have been wondering about you girls in NSW.

Yep it is absolutely insane here right now..... we are lucky at my place.... dry, warm and still have power.....

Mum's place is without power, Nan & Pop's had ankle deep water through their whole place, my uncle lost his front fence... and my sisters partners housemates rescued and provided shelter for a family overnight.....

The bad thing is whilst its subsided today, its forecast to get worse yet.... all I've heard all day is chainsaws and sirens.....

Mum is just leaving to set up an emergency centre now.....

I feel useless not doing anything, but at the same time I can't afford to jeopardise P by going out anywhere..... :fingerscrossed: everyone is ok and it settles down soon....

Jac, how was Pink??? How you had a blast!

Hi to everyone else:wave:

Ok, I really should be tidying my house. I've been lazy the past three days, normally I clean up after myself so that I have less work to do...

Wanted to ask you all a few ??..

Food... not sure if it has something to do with L's cold and possibly cutting more teeth... but she's a bit funny with her food lately...

Spitting it out, turning her head away, only eating off an adult (metal) spoon.... Barely eating breaky, off her fruit... etc..

She'd put on 400g last month so that's great, but not sure what's going on atm...

Should I just go with the flow? What would you do in this situation....

Thanks in advance...

ALSO, Have any of you got a Hug a Bub or a Mei Tai? If so do you like it? I have a baby borjin (sp?) carrier and it's great, but she's getting heavy and starting to hurt my back and sholders and I want to be able to put her on my back...

Does anyone know what the differences are between the HaB and the MT?...

Thanks again...

Hope you all have a good Sat, we're heading out to dinner tonight with my FIL and step-MIL (whom I love!) and some friends so that should be great. Leaving L at home with my sis as dinner doesn't start till 8pm and L's bed time is between then and 8:30pm.. hoping it's a good night!

Hi Mich, Mason was the same with his food up until about yesterday- being super fussy, didn't want to take any food off a spoon, had to feed himself so i was thinking of a million different finger foods to give him. I say just go with the flow, it might just be the teething. Mason is now over and it and happily taking food off me again so that's a relief because he won't touch fruit with his hands for some reason (strange child I have) so he didn't get any for about a week.
As for the other Q, I can't help you there. I never even used a baby carrier cos it hurt my back too much so I returned if for a refund.
I hope you enjoy your night out tonight!

Huge :hugs: for Angel. Enjoy your night out tonight Kel xoxo

Mason was having a nap earlier and he woke up crying like he was really upset and normally when he wakes up he'll stand up and hang off the cot rails but I went in to check on him and he was just laying there crying :crying: When I'd leave the room he'd get even more distressed but wouldn't roll over and stand up like he normally does  I ended up picking him up and he came and snuggled on the lounge with me and eventually fell asleep but he was so upset and sort of whimpering. Makes me so sad to see him like that, I wonder if he had a bad dream? What would be a bad dream for a baby though? Poor bubba.

Hi!

Had a bit of a cry tonight. My best friends Grandpa died this afternoon :crying: He would have to be one of the nicest men I've ever met. To make things even sadder, her grandma only has a very short time left, in fact they have both been in hospital together only rooms apart. The only comforting thing to come out of it all is that at least they will be together in heaven

Maria- I agree- it is FREEZING!!!!!! I LOVE winter usually but this is just too cold for me. Today I had a nap and I had 2 blankets and the doona on and I was shivering!

Hey haylie, Awww Mason is just the most handsome lil man ever! Is that you cutting his hair? HUBBA HUBBA  .
heres some pics i took of her with my brother,

Thanks Tash, I think he's pretty darn cute too LOL. I WISH that was me cutting his hair- that is my friend from mothers group, I am the fat one holding him  hehe.
The pics are gorgeous, your bro looks like a very proud uncle and Leyla is so pretty. All the bubs look so grown up now.

Might head into chat for like FIVE minutes just to see who's lurking. But I am going to bed early tonight.

Okay, more than a "Hi" :p

All is going well here. Cobey's much better, not coughing and certainly not waking up coughing in the middle of the night. He goes in stages where he wakes every hour for some ungodly reason, and when he only wakes once. I'm wondering if that's a temperature thing (he sleeps between us, under the doona, but who knows)

I'm proud to say he's following all the 12 month milestones as well. Clever boy.

He's so good at mimicry, he tries to copy words, he knows what to do with the phone (he puts it to his ear, and often puts it to mine), brushes his hair (which may need a cut....) and we play a game where he puts things, like linkadoos, in his mouth.. then comes over to me and passes it to my mouth, then I pass it back. It amuses him for hours.

I'm being driven slightly bonkers by his climbing - up and down - he gets onto the couch, the stand under the desk, the boxes put up to childproof grandma's house and anything else he can swing his leg to. He also climbs down when I put him places that I'd like him to stay on.. like the bed and the couch. Such a monkey.

He's good at drinking from his cup now, although he's slowed right down on his milk consumption during the day *sigh* he'll still have "Moombies" (his word for boobs) but will only have about 100mL at the most of EBM during the day.
He's on half/half cows milk breastmilk.. actually next week it'll be 60/40 Cow/Boob.

And me? I'm tired, I'm keeping my head up though. 2 more weeks until school holidays :D

Did I miss chat?? not one person in there!!

Oh well... Miss A has woken up screaming twice already, I should go to bed get some rest while I can.

DF's being an @r$e - moreso than usual and he was the one who suggested chat therapy... not to be but all good just the same...

Question: Those who don't sterilise... What was the turning point for you not to do them anymore?

Take it back, Tash just came in...

Okay - missed you all in chat and haven't done multiquote again:banghead: *note to self - do multiquote tomorrow before posting*

Firstly - thanks for all the hugs and kind words from all of you - you are all such a great bunch of ladies and have been so supportive.

Funnily enough, I woke up this morning calm and feeling somehow fine with the world (could be that I didn't get up between 1 and 6 - but apparently that was only because the monitor was off and hubby was up with K between 2 and 3:laughing: )

I'll give a bit about what went on yesterday. Hubby called me about lunch time to say he'd got a message to call the ex and she'd specified she wasn't going to argue (she sends these messages to me when she wants us to do something for her). Anyway, apparently the police had been to visit about DSD having hit a girl in the face with a stick and she's also been caught riding in a stolen car. (I'm typing this calmly now, but as you can imagine when I heard, I just felt like banging my head against a wall, although, this is sadly not unexpected). Ex then said to DH that she wanted us to take DSD for a week to 'fix her up' - these requests are not uncommon and are usually followed by "I need some time for me".

Hubby then refused! May sound heartless, but we've done this many times, when either of the children come to stay with us, they give us no reason to raise our voice to them or anything and the behaviour we hear about just doesn't gel with the way they act in our house, so obviously they know self control and it's the environment rather than them personally. We've also been asked to take DSD for unspecified time before and the ex will call within 3days and ask for her to come home. So even though hubby refused, he only refused for the terms of a week, he said for a month or school term or just normal contact.

It ends up being more like a reward for bad behaviour. DSD would come, she wouldn't go to school if it was only a week (we're 150km from her school) and she'd spend the time going with me shopping, swimming lessons, playgroup etc.

Anyway ex ended up agreeing to us having her longer, but said we weren't to tell her and were just to pick her up (and DSS, but he was only to come for the weekend) and tell her when we got her home as the ex said she'd run away if she knew. So all is set, for us to go into damage control and then she messaged DH this morning to say, she's now thinking about it and will let us know.

So at this point, we have neither child and have no idea what's happening with DSD. I feel sort of like Dr Phil (sorry:laughing: ) with the heroin twins - the dad got the girls on an access visit, they were stealing, drinking smoking etc, so he said - he wanted full custody for a time or not at all, the mother decided not at all, then blamed him for their drug problems.

Okay -that's sort of the abridged version, there's been a bit more, but I think I feel so good at the moment as I couldn't believe how much hubby actually shared and communicated with me last night.

I didn't even get too bothered by the fact that we had $40 worth of fuel siphoned from our bunky car last night (park it outside the gate so it doesn't leak oil on the driveway) - heck that's more than a jerry can.

Back to the hub.....

Haylie - love the haircut shots. Oh what K wouldn't give for hair (okay - so not her, but me). also sorry to hear about your friend's grandparents.

Mell - great boppy vid, agree, beautiful eyes.

Widge - stopped sterilising when K started being into solids as I figured she was eating a lot worse - bath water from the flannel, dirt from the garden etc...

Tash - beautiful shots of your brother and Leyla. shirts off don't bother us (sometimes we welcome them :o ) LOL at the mummy bra thing - hmmm some men do think the changes in our breasts are fantastic. I remember showing Jason an advantage to Maternity bras when we were having adult time and were on limited time (oops TMI LOL)

Maria - *puts hand up* - I am not a cold weather person either. I don't go anywhere without socks in winter and need to dig out my lycra gloves too. The two years we spent in Darwin were fantastic, then within a month of being back I remembered what chillblains were....Just as well I still had my heat rub.

Okay - this post is long enough - will chat again tomorrow

Okay it's not tomorrow yet, but just remembered something that made me smile today.

We got A down for his sleep and did our usual trick of trying to get K down at the same time so we could have adult time - wasn't going to happen today but since she was in such a good mood we set her up with some safe toys in view.

Okay - all was well - kept hearing delighted squeals, but then they turned into full blown belly laughs. We figured it was time to investigate. Found Miss K standing at the foot of Mr A's bed bouncing away as she laughed herself silly watching him sleep. Not sure what she thought was funny, but watching that was the funniest thing I've watched for a time. She obviously wanted him to wake up so she could play with someone, - she'd obviously got bored with the toys I'd organised for her and decided to find her own amusement.

tsking my finger at 2 norty ladies who kept me up far too late last night (well this morning!!!!!!!)

hehehe, don't worry, i was paying for it aswell. I was in bed at 8 pm:o but look at the time now.

im cussing and cursing myself!!!! we were in a hurry this morning and i didnt take a photo of the frame that i made for my bestie

I have searched my Kmart for the fames, but i don't think they have them. I will check out Kmart at Chermside, they should have them.

Pegs, that would have been funny to see Miss K cracking herself up. All the best with the step kids, hope it gets all sorted out sooner, rather then later.

Haylie, Mason is so cute, love the photos.

Tash, Layla is gorgeous.

Seek, great to hear from you. Nix is climbing anything and everything as well, checky boys. Does Cobey still have boobies at night or is he starting to wean? Can't wait for the birthday bash.

Bodhi woke up wet about 3.30 so Sean changed him and then chucked him in our bed, and then Nix wakes up for a fed. So now i am wide awake.

Sean has to go to Casino for 3 days next week for work:crying: He is meeting some clients. So i am going to be buggered by the time he gets back.

Kaz, great idea! I will buy some drinks today and fill the empty bottles with rice (all we got for now...) That should keep her progressing until her birthday!! Hope you are well... I'm not a news watcher and was horrified when I watched the news last night! Have to call a couple of mates from Singleton and near you and make sure they are okay too, Singleton seems to be in a bad way...

The night before last I was doing the bottles and it came time to stack the steriliser... I stood there looking at the bottles for about 5 mins... Then I made them up... No sterilising... No reason, just did it...

Okay, need some ASAP ideas!!

It's my little bros 8th b'day party today (b'day was on Friday) and I have NO IDEA what to get him... he's kinda grown out of army men and dinosaurs... He's into the Xbox now but games are too $$... I don't think there is anything I can get him soccer related and I don't think he's into cricket anymore (wrong season anyway)... Maybe I'm just being lazy or the CRAFT is really effecting me... Not sure when I'm heading to the shops as DF had to go to work today...

Oh... What on Earth do you wear to ice-skating?? Do I layer Miss A up or she'll be ok in normal trackies??

Ok, I know she's awake I was just sneaking in before she realised it's food time!!
Oh yeah, she goes "mmmmmmmmmm" for a while before she gets the hungry cry AND tries to eat what she can get her hands on, yesterday it was my phone and a roll of tape LOL. I guess that's part of the "12 months can do list"!!

Alrighty, still haven't started incubating properly and am freezing through my ribs... Hmm, heater or jumper??

Oh, I took some photos/vids of Miss A playing with my slippers after she stole them from me... Will upload to photobucket and show you once our PC is set up properly!! If I remember LOL.

Have fun ladies I will check in once Miss A's had breaky and settled!!

You'll find if you don't keep on top of the posting, it will overrun and you'll never catch up... I'm slowly getting back into it after my head freeze before DD's surgery and the move...

Still on dial up but will be working on that probably tomorrow...

Widge - I am a horrible sister when it comes to birthdays... I won't by the girls junk, or silly toys, etc..... I like to buy them something that will either get them active, teach them something or serve a purpose iykwim.... this year I got my 10 yr old sis a kids cookbook and some utensils of her own, she loved it....

Does he like to read??? What about a Harry Potter book??? Or there are plenty of good little book series that encourage reading growth for all different ages.... they aren't to $$$$ either, and then he can build on the collection.....

You said he was into soccer, what about a new soccer ball???? Or on of those things you put the ball in and connect to your ankle to practice kicking??? Or one of those kiddie soccer goals?????

I've got nothing, hope my ideas help a little.....

Think I need to venture out to get bread and nappies today and a bit scared of the carnage I might encounter..... poor buggers up the valley are getting hit hard today.... its making its way to maitland as we speak....

Never even thought about something to help him kick... Will have a look, funny feeling BigW won't have anything like that, but can always check...

Not sure about the reading, he was in a comp class year because he is smart but not sure if he reads or not...

DF said he should be home by 1-2pm so I may have time for him to take me shopping first... Might get Dad to take me down when he finishes breaky to make sure I can get something for him...

Kaz, good luck on your trek to the shops!! I have a mate in Singleton and so far he isn't answering his mobile... :(

I didn't do it to start with, I was told when Zac was little that it's unnecessary and that hot soapy water is sufficient.

Good on you for not steralising anymore....I think i need to take the plunge because really and truly it probably isn't necessary any more, I'm just doing for my sake I think.

Okay - it's in my signature - I'm 34, so you were close, but there is someone that's 50weeks older than me, so her birthday will be in about 2months and she'll be 36;) . Oh and we're young mums too:p

Welcome Sarah - I'm mum to Kayleigh and Aiden (3) and in Perth

I too tried chat and didn't find anyone, but I think I was too late - haven't been on for a while, but hoping to get back into the swing of it (just needed to stop spending so much time on the computer for a while).

Widget - I'd go something like sporting equipment, or even some construction type toy - a lot cheaper than x-box. I had the same issue when buying for DSS, and sometimes we come up with real gems for not much. Mum found him a skateboard for Christmas that was on special for $30 and although it didn't have all the bells and whistles on it, he loves it. I tend to make model cars with him. We also do jigsaws and make marble mazes etc. Think I got him a lego soccer field when he was 8.

Myz - hope you start feeling better soon.

hello and welcome. Good to see that you found us. Very chatty bunch of ladies here, but a very excellent bunch too! im one of the oldies (but definitely young at heart) i just turned 30 a couple of months ago. Have 3 DD's (no more from us here though). Where abouts on the sunny coast? we quite often go to caloundra on the weekends in summer.

Lina has been an absolute grump all afternoon. Her gums are quite swollen, and one of her teeth is trying to push through, but hasnt quite cut (hope it does soon). so it looks like yet another sleepless night. Hence that i will have to definitely have a nanna nap tomorrow.

Okay - all was well - kept hearing delighted squeals, but then they turned into full blown belly laughs. We figured it was time to investigate. Found Miss K standing at the foot of Mr A's bed bouncing away as she laughed herself silly watching him sleep

ROFLMAO!! that's hilarious, how cute to have seen. it just makes me want a lil bro or sis for Angel.

 Sarah!! I'm 23, DD was born at the end of July on her Daddies birthday! :D I am almost 10 weeks pregnant with number 2!! :yelclap: We live in Sydney...

Haylie - I was doing them for my sake as well, feel more comfortable knowing that they were done, but I had no reason to stop, I just did... Still not sure how I feel about it though!!

We ended up getting my little bro a pre-owned copy of Doom3 (will scare the cr@p outta him when he gets the courage to play it LOL) for $25!! It started at 3:30pm... DF takes SO long to get ready we didn't leave until 3:15!! Still had to get him a present and DF went the wrong way!! So we were 45mins late and then DF wanted to stop and get something to eat and there was NO way I was going to be any later!! Tried to get me on the ice for the first time ever and I used my pregnancy to my advantage LOL... We went back to Mums for a coffee and they all ended up drinking instead... I was pooped by 9pm so had a lay down on mum's very comfy lounge and woke up an hour and a half later to Miss A crying - she'd been doing 20 min stints since i layed down... Guess she's not ready to sleep in a "big bed" yet LOL (she was on my bro's bed) So we got home around midnight from an 8yr olds party!!

Kel, hope you can get something to help Angel!! :hugs:

Better get dressed, supposed to be clearing the last from the other house today - have to hand keys in tomorrow and still need to get the carpets done...

Have a good one!!

Not much happening from our end, L ate heaps better yday and so far today, :fingerscrossed: it was just a phase.

Love all the photos, can't wait for one of you with your hair cut Kel!

She's still really snotty, will be setting up her vapouriser today to try and hit it on the head.

Oh I meant to say Kel, have you tried saline drops for Angel? I find they help clear Luci's nose for a bit at least....and they're chemical free iykwim? You can get them from the chemist.

Kaz, hope all is ok for you.

Will bbl so that I can keep this short!
Have a good day xxx

Perth mummies - let me know if there's a meet on, I'm pretty busy at the mo but can probably drop something if I know in advance x
Nel, I will put your no. in my phone, I was down there today, my mates lives on Edgewater Drive. (It think that's it but it doesn't sound right lol and my UBD's in the car... hmmm, the main road lol)

Edgewater Drive is about 10minutes from here, my hairdresser lives just off it lol..
Will have to start organizing something so we can see how grown-up and gorgeous Eliana is now.

I have a very sick little man. Lach's temp is currently 38.2, so this is a quickie.

Hope Lach is ok Rach :hugs:

the chemist were NO HELP, told me i couldn't give her anything but i'm gonna go get some demazin. we also borrowed a vapouriser off ady's sis so that helped last night oo. she sounds so awful,

When Kai had the chest infection etc not so long ago the doctor told me there are no cough medicines that really help/or are suitable for bubba's. Demezin will help with her nose but not the cough. Keep using the vaporizer and maybe put a little eucalyptus oil in it (or the vicks stuff if you have some).
That little noses stuff works well for Kai when he actually lets me put it in.
:hugs: Hope Angel is feeling better soon.

:hugs:for you too! Hope your script works quickly and your feeling better soon hun. Great to hear that Miss Leyla is feeling better already though.

Mell - love the spidey page! Gorgeous photo's, Nix is so handsome! Kai loves going to playcentres, he spens hours in the ballpit alone lol.

Kai slept in til 8:30  shame I had to get up anyway and get Zac ready for school lol.
He's starting to just walk now without thinking about it, can walk around corners and change direction mid stride LOL.. He looks so cute and so darn proud of himself. Mark was thrilled coz he was home to see it all (it's like yesterday afternoon Kai just realized he can do it all the time).. He'll walk the entire length of the house now before dropping back down to his knees.

Anywho better go pick the remainder of his breakfast up off the floor and then find myself something to eat.

{{{hugs}}} to all

Still researching the hug a bub vs mei tai...

HaB prob no good - more for smaller bubs. Have you looked into an Ergo? That's what I'm gonna get next - can carry on front, side or back - I hated the Baby Bjorn, it killed my back - and B's only 7kg! Have a look at Carrying Away's website!

hello ladies. Well as predicted had yet another crappy night in this pink house. The tooth has gone back up in the gum (bugger bugger bugger), Natty and Lina awoke at 520, so i fed Lina and made Cris get up with them so I could snooze :devil6:

I have a very sick little man. Lach's temp is currently 38.2
I hope its nothing too bad. and Hope his fever goes down soon

Nix still only has 4 teeth and i can't even see anymore coming down, i think he might get a heap at once.
linas only got 5, Im thinking this will be the same for her. She was all hands in the mouth yesterday, plus a grumpy bubba.
Love the pages Mel, that spiderman one is cute! might do one for my nephew (thanks for the idea )

Angel's still quite sick,

I was thinking about an ergo too.... I'd like something to carry P with on my back but dont want to get one of those huge MacPac ones.

We love playcentres too (spec not having a backyard) P loves the jumping castle and going down the big blow up slides on my lap. (and I love being a big kid too, the other mums must think I'm nuts)

FWIW Kel I've always been told that you cant use anything when bubs have a cough, as surpressing it stops the natural method for getting rid of the chest junk (for want of a more scientific explation), hope the fess and the vapouriser works.
