Hi Bubhubbers

I was just wondering when you are TTC or hopefully pregnant is it ok to drink Milo??

I love my cup of tea in the morning and I thought maybe Milo would be a better option - it doesn't say conatinas caffeine on the tin (but it is chocolately and chocolate contains caffeine).......what are your thoughts?

i dont see why it would be a problem. i drank a helluva lot of iced coffee, milo and chocolate milk when PG with DS. that was my craving. DS was nice and healthy and happy when born and still is.

Milo does not contain chocolate, so no caffeine worries there, plus it is a terrific source of iron. Drink up and enjoy

I love a cup of tea and just couldnt go without. I drank Mildura decaffinated tea when I was TTC, pregnant and breastfeeding. I drank Milo as well. I think a cup or two a day would be fine.

the ONLY thing to be aware of with milo .. is that it IS high in Vitamin A .. something to be aware of when pregnant ..

you DO have to eat lots of IT and other Vit A foods .. for it to be an issue (one cup wouldn't hurt) .. as I said .. just .. something .. to be aware of :)

oh yeh. the naturopath told me that Mildura tea is the best tea to have at any time, its the healthiest of something like that.
its the only one i buy now. so if you want a cup of tea, try getting that one

My understanding is that Green Tea actually aids conception, so maybe switch to Green Tea?

Oh no I can't do Green Tea! I have tried it, but it is just not my cup of tea.... pardon the pun! :)

Strictly speaking, if you are serious about cutting out all caffeine, then tea - both black and green - need to be off you list as well.
