Harry is spending his first night in his new big bed tonight. It got delived this morning. He had a 2 hours day asleep in it this afternoon, which I thought was pretty good.
When I just went to check on him he was spread eagled across it, so at least he has room to spread out now. He still looks so little in it compared to his cot. Oh well, they have to grown up and this just another new and exciting stage of his life.
Hope he sleeps well??? I'm sure he will.......

How exciting. It's great that he had a big sleep already in it. Hope all goes well tongiht and every other sleep time :) .
Hi, the big bed, lots of fun.
O is really good in his now and I love the fact that when he's had his sleep he wakes up all happy and just runs out and says hello. No whinging in the cot for mum!:D
Good luck tonight!:)
Wow he is a big boy now. Enjoy your big bed Harry:)

That's excellent Karena! I'm glad for you that he likes it. We're still having sleep issues with Chloe, from when we switched to the big bed. Mostly she ends up in ours now :(
Great news Karena! How did he go last night??
We're going to leave E in her cot as long as we can, it converts into a toddler bed so we might do that after we move to Melbourne and things settle down a bit.

How do Harry go in the big bed?
How old are they when they go to a bed?

Harry went great in his big bed. He's been in for 2 nights now and both nights he has slept normally. Sleeping through and not waking. So good of him.
Rach, good idea waiting until E is in Mel, might be a bit disruptive moving and everything.
Harry is 2 in March so nearly 22 months. We decided to put him in a big bed because he was getting to big for his cot and wanting to spread out but banging the sides and waking himself up. Now he can spread eagle and not worry about hitting his head.

That's fabulous news Karena. It's always a worry when they go into their BIG beds. It all happens so fast doesn't it? May the peace in his big bed continue.
