DD is almost 10months old and she has been waking up at 2am on the dot ever morning for the past 3 days  She isnt cold, not hungry, its not a bum change. It takes me an hour and a half to get her back to sleep. Then this morning she has taken a half an hour to go to sleep which isnt like her because it normally takes her 10mins max. She is driving me nuts and DH has to start work at 5am so his awake from 2am  .
Any advice would be so good.
Thanks
Haylee

Sounds like it could be teething... is she upset when she wakes or does she want to play?

How many daytime naps does she have? She may be ready to drop a day nap.

alanasmum: It could be teething as her poo's have been a little runny lately. She already has 6 teeth. But she is ok during the day.
monkeytoes: She is having two day naps. She normally wakes at around 6ish. Then a nap at 8:30am for around 40min - 1.5hours. Then another nap at around 12:30ish for about the same amount of time. She goes to bed at around 6:30pm and i have tried putting her to bed later but that doesnt seem to make much difference.

Hmm... it's a tricky one. DD wakes up very often at night when she is teething. And she wakes up crying and is very hard to settle as opposed to other times when she wakes and will go back to sleep easily when I give her back her dummy.
I'd say stick to 2 naps. But if she is hard to settle, maybe she wants to shift the times a little and is able to stay up for longer now? DD wakes any where between 5.00am and 7.00am and then goes down for a nap at around 9.00. Her afternoon nap is at around 2.30. And then bed-time at 7.30pm.
The only other thing I can think of is perhaps she is a little unwell? Have you thought about a trip to the doctor to rule out ear infections etc?

Could be a number of reasons, teething, bad dreams, wants a drink etc. Hayley has woken up the last few days at around midnight and is crying but she won't tell me whats wrong, drives me mad.
