Falling Pregnant on Monofeme

Hi,i have been on Monofeme 6months,and have recently missed 1 white pill,and me and my boyfriend had sex 3days after,and i was wondering if i was pregnant if i didnt know and kept taking the pills as usual would it damage the baby in any way??and what would be symptoms of being pregnant??like nausia,back ache,cramps etc???And also when i do take the red pills i only usualy menstrate a few days after i have taken the first red pill and i still have my cycle when i have the first two white pills and then i finish my cycle, is that natural??

Hi, I don't really know how to answer you, except to say you should go and see a doctor as soon as you can. Get a pregnancy test and then at least you will be able to ask questions based on the result.

thanks for that. If i was pregnant and still kept taking monofeme would it harm the baby??

Im not 100% sure. There a quite a few girls on here who have had babies on the pill and they are good. I ended up terminating that pregancy so i dont know if it would have been effected or not.

im taking monofeme atm and have done for about 2yrs now and ive even forgotten a few tablets along the way.... i have heard some people who have fallen pg on the pill, anyhow...hope it turns out what you want it to.

I took the test,but it came out neg...but now i startd my menstryl so i thot mayb that was the reason it came out neg...so il try again next week....so yeh

hii all .... iv just started this pill also :s
n im a little worried .. i started it on the first day of my period like my doctor telld me to do ...
and he sed if you start the first day of your period ul be coverd for unprotected sex ...
but if i start before my period i have to wait a week .. so i waited and started wen i came on my period on a saturday but then had intercourse on the following saturday...
will i still be coverd ??

Yes, Its possible that you can get pregnant on the pill - whether you've taken it correctly or not. The effectiveness rate is something like 96%. If your unsure, TAKE A TEST, please!
And taking the pill until the end of the month, won't harm your baby!

I forgot to take my pill for about 3days and got pregnant in that time (a different pill) but i didnt know i was preg until i was 9 weeks along and was taking the pill that whole time. doesnt harm bub at all :)
