Hi guys,

I just grabbed a copy of the Woolworths Fresh mag and in there is a competition for children 2.5 years and younger.

Heres what it says:

If you have a baby 2.5 years old and under, enter the Cutest Baby Compettion in Woolworths Australian Parents magainze and you could soon have a cover star in the family. Five runners-up will aslo share in over $10 000 worth of baby products. Hurry, entries close June 13. To enter purchase your copy of Woolworths Australian Paretns magazine at your local Woolworths supermarket today.

My 11 month old is in the current issue as one of the entries. He is "Angus from Tasmania". Check him out if you like, and pleasesend positive vibes....heaven know we could do with some good forune lately......:fingerscrossed:

Closes - June 13 so not long now! And yeah I think u get the mag from Woolies, never brought one sorry!

Angus didn't but at least he was published in the latest Mag...

I think he's a cutey and that's all that matters right??/

Hi, I saw Angus in the magazine Charlieangus and he's gorgeous, when I showed the mag to my hubby also, he pointed him out and said he was a cutie. Good luck. Imagine having to be the one to pick the winners. I bet there were thousands to sort through. I entered my 2 youngest also. When were people going to be notified, do you know? I read also that if you were shortlisted you had to pay your own way to Sydney for the final judging.

The judging was the 13th June and winners were notified yesterday 14th june....how rude...we obviously didnt win.

You kids are cute too. Thanks for your compliment...I think my7 boys are gorgeous. Charlie was in the top 16 last year too.

That can't be right can it? The entries didn't close till the 13th. So there would be no way they could be judged on the 13th unless they worked back really really late. :detective: Maybe it was judging on the 13th July?

well thats all that I can make out of the fine print terms and conditions. hope its not the case, may still have a chance then LOL

The comp closed on the 13th so I dont think winners will be notified for about a week or 2. I cant read about it as I gave the mag to my sister cause it has a great newborn section in it I thought she would love! I only brought the mag for the comp!

oh i entered my son and havent heard anything i didnt realise there was entrants printed in the new mag.

Hi, was just reading the fine print again. Entries closed last mail 13th June and it said judging was 14th June but not final judging as those that are shortlisted must attend in Sydney (at their own expense) for a photo shoot on a date specified by the magazine. But it does say winners will be notified by phone. So maybe we're still in it:fingerscrossed: Been really bad weather up here so maybe judging hasn't happened yet!

i wonder if they print the finalists somewhere. i only just entered the 12th, so not even sure if it made it in. there are so many gorgeous bubs though, so it would be a very very slight chance to win i'd think.

The winner was announced last night on Channel 7 news. His name is Zachary something from Paddington NSW. It was very brief but from what I saw it looked as though all the finalists were of similar age. ie 8-10 months. I dont know why they ask for entrants up to 2 1/2 years of age when I didn't see any toddlers as finalists? Oh well, good luck to him and his mother, he's very cute (ofcourse!)

Just got to tell you this guys, but that was the winner of the Mother and Baby Magazine cover competition not the Parents magazine Coverstar. So we are still in with a chance guys.....GOOD LUCK:fingerscrossed:

Yes I saw that too, didn't know about that comp. How do we know when this one is judged then? Surely it must be by now

I just had a look at the magazine website forum and I found someone saying that the winners and finalists will be announced in the Aug/Sept issue. I think if no-one has contacted us by early july we can assume we didn't make the final list.
