Avanza (Mirtazapine) in Pregnancy

I posted this elsewhere but thought I would try here instead.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has taken Avanza through their pregnancy. I just got my BFP and now I'm worried about this med. Especially as I went to the doctor today and she was concerned that taking it might increase my risk of miscarriage :confused:.
Would love to hear from anyone else who has taken it - either positive or negative experiences.

I was on this drug when I had severe depression and I put on 10kg over 6 months. I swappped to zoloft as I was planning to conceive and had been advised that this was the safest for preg and bfeeding. I lost weight and that in itself helped my self esteem. Avanza is not recommended in preg. Speak to your doctor ASAP to discuss whether it is suitable to change.
