im expecting my second baby on the 13th of March. My little boy turns 11 months tomorrow. I am living with my mother as I left my partner when my son was four months old not knowing I was pregnant again. Once I knew I was pregnant I knew that a second baby was not going to change my ex. You see he is a drinker and the drinking became heavier during my pregnancy and it seemed to be more important then family.
I know Ive made the right decision. but knowing recently that he has moved on already with another women that has two young children hurts. I think why wouldn't he change for us. I think Im feeling anxious knowing I have to have another c/section. I'm trying to stay positive.

Hi angela,
I know how you feel believe me.
There is a March mummies thread if you want to post there and get to know us all, we don't bite!
I hope things get better for you and you have to know that you have done the right thing leaving him. People who choose alcohol over something as precious as a child don't deserve children in the first place (IMO) I have been down the same road as you and if you want you can pm me for more confidentiality;)
Take care, look forward to seeing you in March mummies!

My little boy is going to turn one in two weeks and all I can think about is giving him the happy childhood that I never had. You made the right decision. Best of luck with yet to be born.

Thanks for the supportive comments. Ive actually lived in Sydney for the last 14years and have moved to Tamworth because my mum is here. My mum has been great. To blow all your minds my mum gave birth to nineteen children. I am the second youngest. Yes all single births and the one Partner.
I have no Idea how she did it. And at 73yrs old she is an excellent Nan.
I have been through a hard time but I count my lucky stars to have such a great mum and brothers that have been wonderful role models to my son.
I will chat to the mum's expecting In march that sounds great.
Thanks again.

19 !!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow what an amazing woman !!!!!!
So now i will say & so are you !!!!!
You have done the right thing not only are you looking out for both of your babies but yourself ! Some people dont change & maybe this new woman will only make him happy for a short time especially if he doesnt face the fact he obviously has a problem. We also sometimes have to see we cant be the ones to change someones attitude or the likes as thats just not our "role" with them.
I really hope that now you are back with your mum things get a little easier doing it alone is something i can only comprehend let alone trying to imagine it with two !
I really wish you all the best :D
