Interesting places you have breastfed

I just spent a few days in Cairns with my family. We went up to Kuranda on the skyrail. DD (5 months) is fully breastfed and I fed her the whole trip up and back taking in the most spectacular views of waterfalls and rainforest. So I got to thinking, where is the most interesting or unusual place you have fed?

On the bus and train . .standing in a parents room .. on the floor in the middle of k-mart and big w .. and on the floor in parents rooms .. Anywhere and everywhere :laughing: :laughing:

Video store. DS was in a sling so it was easy to feed him and still pick out DVDs :D

I had to breast feed Aiyanna ina toilet of a restaurant in Thailand, standing up. I usually sit on the toilet but I couldn't cos it was a hole in the floor,everything was wet. The room was under a staircase and under that nook was a little bath of water-it was very strange. It was sooooooo hot and there were lines of insects crawling up the walls.GROSS!:barf:

On the floor in the shops(first place i could find cause he was STARVING lol)

In the local RSL club/pub lol,i hid it very well they didnt even know i was bf one bloke
came up to me to check out my NB and found that his face was under my top twas the that he realised that i was bf,must say he was very embarrassed lol.

I hate bf in mums rooms so smelly so hardly ever do it there.

In the food court at the shops.

Cant think of anywhere else lol even though i have bf close to a yr.

OMG!!! I think I would have flopped the 'girls' out just to annoy her!!

I fed in the carpark of spotlight the other day. Silly me got DD out and fed her in the driver seat with it pushed back. When I eventually got out I was getting lots of funny looks then heard someone say something about me not having my baby in a car seat!!! I think they thought I had been driving like that!!!

In the control room of a train to sydney. Bub was scraming blue murder cause he was scared of the train noise so a steward took me up to the front of the train to the control room. It was very quiet as it was sound proof and they gave me a nice comfy chair and lunch. DH was peeved that he missed out on a free lunch!!

Mine would be tonight during the bidding at a house auction - DH was bidding and we ended up winning the auction. When the hammer came down DS woke up and came off the breast - all quite lovely really!!

Previously I would have said at the zoo or during a board meeting but tonight was certainly different!

Many cafes, restaurants, meetings, dinner parties, BBQ's, at the beach, in the tent many times.

i have fed in restaurants, car parks, movie theatres, in the pool, coffee clubs, husbands work sites, while fishing, whille toilet training my two year old, thank goodness ds is portable, we feed any where, he's always hungrey.:laughing:

top of my list for unusual was at the salon while being waxed, brazillian waxed:eek: .
kept her quiet and gave me natural pain relief hormones i think:laughing: :o

breastfed dd #1 on a boat out at her dads favourite fishing spot while we scattered his ashes.

breastfed them wherever we are when they need it.

Last month I breastfed dd2 while I had a breast examination :D

She now hates dr's rooms (has been to quite a few appts) and was crying her head off and didn't want me to lay on the bed. So while I was cuddling her, with my top off, she latched on to one side while the Dr checked the other breast. Then we did a swap to do the other side!

The Dr was great and it kept dd2 quiet and calm for 5 minutes.



Otherwise, places I've bfed aren't really that spectacular:
Planes,
Bath,
Shopping Centres,
Wherever whenever basically.

It should be where HAVEN'T I breastfed, lol because I usually pull out my boobie everywhere if bub wants a drink. Like today, I was waiting for Karl to pick me up in the car park, Taliyah was hungry so I whipped it out :D

almost whipped out my boob walking (yes walking) around a camera shop waiting for photos, then thought maybe the young staff might get a shock so went to the car. Funny how automatic it is, she wasnt even crying just pulling at my top and pushing her head into me.

Had to BF while D was in her car seat is still turned so not easy to get to. Very awkward leaning under the straps and trying to get Clea to lean a bit forward towards boob. We eventually managed. couldnt pull over as we were on a motorway in the rain.

Walking around K-Mart and then while buying the stuff I'd bought. The woman behind me said to her grand daughter 'look, that baby is sleeping' and I turned around and said 'no actually, she's bf'ing.' The woman was amazed and praised and praised me! Totally boosted my confidence!

At DH's citizenship ceremony (twice there).

While having a haircut.

Umm, whilst walking around the house, doing shopping, window shopping, busses, trains, carparks, parks, backyard, front yard, movies, food courts, doctors, bath, shower, toilet (I couldn't hold on & she wouldn't let go).........

I don't honestly think there is anywhere I haven't breastfed MJ :D
