is this common for 19 month old?????

My 19 month old daughter has been sick recently but seems to be better (touch wood). She is having very restless nighttime sleeps, she seems to go to sleep OK but will wake up every 1/2 to 1 hour give a little cry and go back to sleep. This goes on all night and she is waking between 5-6am in the morning. She used to wake about 6.30 - 7am. She now wakes up grizzling and not happy which is understandable as she has had a bad nights sleep. My question is has this happened to anyone else with children a similar age. I thought that she might have had sore teeth (her 2 year old molars are moving around but nothing significant) so i have given her panadol a couple of times but it doesn't seem to settle her so i figure its not her teeth.

I thought that it could also be a sepeartion anxiety thing but still don't understand how she could be waking so often.

Don't know what to do?????? I wish i could help her sleep better. She would be much happier.

I don't really have an answer for you as my DD is only 14 months. But I thought I'd bump the post up for you in hope that you do find an answer!

DD has sometimes had nights were she has little cries then goes back to sleep, but I assumed it was either her teeth or bad dreams? She seemed to settle back though so I wasn't worried. Is there anything in your little ones routine that has changed?

I really hope you find the answer both for you and for her!
