I was washing a bottle today when I realised I am using heaps of water!! I have to make sure there is no soapy residue in there, and it seems to take ages to get it all out...rinsing rinsing rinsing
Any ideas on how to save water when washing bottles?

I wash mine when I wash dishes.........I just do them first. But if I have to do them when not washing dishes, then I just put the bare minnimum of water in the sink and don't drain the water. I just top it up when I do need to wash dishes.

I do the same.......part fill the sink and wash the bottles first then pack the steriliser and then wash the rest of the dishes. I agree totally that you use a lot of water rinsing though!

You could put an ice-cream container or something in the sink to catch the water you're using to rinse the bottles. It's not saving water exactly, but you can re-use it in the garden or something.
i do mine when im filling the sink to wash dishes. by the time im finished washing/rinsing them the sink is filled

Same here
Firstly doesn't it suck that we all dont have dishwashers.
I follow suit and do them before dishes. If no dishes to be done (very rare) i use a plastic bowl to rinse a couple of times and then throw that water in the sink for later.
Any other excess water from bowl goes on the plants.
