patch or no patch??

Hi everyone, I have not had smoke in 6 weeks which i am feeling very happy about. I have absolutley no desire to have one but the problem i face is now when i put a patch on even the low dose i get extremely light headed and dizzy? I have tried going without a patch but there are times when i struggle.
I know its a weird kind of question but i would love any suggestions.

Hey ya,Congrats on getting that far and good luck for the road ahead...I went on patches a couple of years ago (but i wasn't strong enough) and yeah they made me dizzy light headed and all of that so i went to the docs and all they could come to was that even though the patches were weak they were giving my body an overdose compared to what i was used to, i was a heavy smoker then and it didn't matter to me how weak nor strong the patches were they made me sick in the end and i had to get off them......Hope it goes well for u..... :)

Firstly well done of getting this far :yelclap:

I had simular things happen when I used patches... The reason I got it was because The patch strength that I was on was using at the time was to strong and I had to drop down a patch strength.

I would suggest going and speaking to a doctor about it maybe they could suggest something else for you to try.

hi ladies, thank you so much i am feeling really good and i have not had a patch on since i wrote that post:yelclap: It was hard at first but i am getting better. Just keep busy (My two little ones help me with that:D ) It's so weird my partner has quit to and we were just saying why didnt we do this ages ago:rolleyes: Either way we have done it now and we feel great.
