Hey
Just wondering if anyone had the saggy belly hang down after birth?? I have one and it hangs down heaps have to lift it up to see my c-section scar...
Any tips how to get rid of it???
lol was just talking about this the other night, I'm sure Carlyb or Promqueen will have some good responses :D
As for me, its there and heading south for the winter:eek:
Seriously have to start doing situps to make it disappear i think.Horrible isn't it
meant to say don't you just love when you tuck it in and it pops out over the top of your jeans forming the lovely muffintop:p Gotta be proud of that effect!

If anyone finds the answer let me know ok?
I've had 2 c/s's and it definitely got worse with after the second. I find the best way to hide it under pants is to look for pants/jeans that have a kind of wider band at the top, and that sit straight across your tummy, like just under your belly button, not kind of under the bad bit. If you go too high, it makes it all bulge in your pants  . The band holds it in and you don't get as much of the 'muffin' effect! Am i making sense here?
my best tip is
step one- get a BIG packet of chips
step two- open the packet
step three- eat the lot and forget about the post baby belly :D
either that or get a pair of briget Jones undies :)
I haven't found anything else that works - cept sit ups ... and thats not going to happen!!!

hmmmm the ugly wrinkly (well mine is anyway) hangover..... i hate it!!!!!:o
Check this out! I said to DH during preg #1 that the baby was laying to one side and of course I got the "yeah right" comments...anyway, after Zane was born I had one side of my belly noticably bigger than the other (sounds great doesn't it!). Baby No2 did the same thing! So I have a few extra cm on my LHS, rather than the right....
That and loads of stretchmarks, my children have given me lots of reminders of how they got here!!!:(
Hi ewells1983, there is good news and bad news....
The good news is, it does go down... :D
The bad news is, it takes diet and a lot of exercise... :(
In the meantime, the embarrasingly large control top undies, do work wonders... ;)
Good Luck! :)
I'm pregnant again. That's working for me. hehehehe. Soon it'll all be nice and taught.

Mine doesnt hang over! Its just really wrinkly! I hate it! I wear hipsters and wear a big belt over the bottom of my top so when i sit down the belt holds it all in! I have started doing sit ups every day so hopefully by next summer I wont have this worry!

Well it's been mentioned that I may have the answer...I do...two words...
TUMMY TUCK!!!
If you haven't got the spare $10,000 for one you could try having another baby and talking your ob into doing one while you're having the next c/s...oh yeah, I tried that, & they don't want to:mad: or you could buy yourself a pair of Nancy Gance pants from Bras 'n things. They're wonderful undies that go right up to your ribcage and suck everything in...they do work, and they help your posture too!

Hi
Thanks for the replies. Got to say that mine is all wrinkly too, have lots and lots of streach marks YUCK!!! Wish Obs would give you a tummy tuck when you have c/s, that would be wonderful. My DP says 'dont worry after you finish having a baby, we'll save up and you can get a tummy tuck'. Yeah right, so Im supposed to spend all my 20's with a saggy belly. I do have a pair of briget jones pants, for special times, when I need to feel skinny (ha, ha). Anyways looks like it'll be sit-ups, sit-ups and more sit-ups. YIPEE!!!
I have just the one CSection and I have a major hang over as well. Started sit ups will let you know how I go.....
aghhhh!
