we finally have an appt with a peadatrics gastroenterologist (sp?)

supposedly bubs has the cows milk protien allergy as well as reflux .... she has gotten really bad - she seems to control her pain and handle it a lot better but when she is bad - she goes down hill quickly..... she gulps and tries to swallow back down - wont lie on her back AT ALL - gags if layed any lower than 45 % angle and has started to refuse feeds ..... lots more - cant think atm.. though....

so we got a referral to the gasto at the royal childrens and gp is trying ot get her insometime next week :fingerscrossed: i don't think he can but i really hope he can - is hurts me now - to see her in soo much pain.... every night she gets really worked up and that is when the gagging gets worse and she has started to vomit up now - she never used to before .....

not sure what i need to tell them and what q's to ask ??? any ideas as i don't want to forget something important ???

I would tell them exactly what is going on and what your concerns are, and disgusss her medication with the GI and feeds ect

generaly they will take the lead and order tests suchas an empedence study, upper gi ect and then if neseresy an endoscopy if they dont make these sugestions then i would be askeing them to, but i would say they will be onto as soon as posible

good luck

Not necessarily questions, unless you have any that you can think of now, but sometimes I forget info to tell the paed/gp when I go - so perhaps write yourself a list of things you want to discuss or tell him/her about...
