HI girls,

Want to spend some virtual money, it may help you curb your spending for say oh, a day!

I am planning what to buy for the new baby at the moment, it is so exciting, but confusing, I think there are too many options! I have $400 to spend setting up for the Bub, but that is all for AGES (as I stop working!) It is also a case of use it or lose it! So I need to plan what to get to last me at least 9 - 12 months! I have about 12 nappies already for DS, some of which the bub can use too.

I have 6 one size nappies;
1 BG Pocket
2 GKs
2 BBB
1 Baby greens
I have a couple of small covers
1 wool BB
1 PUL bb
I will make 2 fleece small covers too

I just got 5 newborn nappies
4 Newborn fleece nappies (WAHM made)
I have ordered a newborn pack which has one Fitted nappy and one cover from Touchin Cloth.

In smalls I have 2 nappies
2 bubblebubs smalls

I am trying to get One size as I have a 2 year old, but I pretty much have enough to get by for him (about 12 nappies) so, do I buy one size or smalls or mediums!! I dont know! I don't mind what type, AIO, pocket, fitted. I love em all!

Help me out here girls! Oh and I have a bit of time to play with, bubs is due in 9 weeks, but I am not sure if I am a good Hyena!

Alright I'll have a go at spending your money!

To be honest I would buy some prefolds. These are not OSFM but from what I hear they are the best thing to put on your new newborn.

Once he/she has outgrown these I would sell on either 'buy 4 baby' or somewhere else.

On the list of what you have you've got mostly pockets and fitteds. Do you not like AIOs (I know you've got bubblebubs but thought they might be a token buy because they have such a good name).

If you like AIOs some OSFM are rollicking rascals. I really like these because you can determine how much stuffing you want to put in them.

If you like fitteds then I've heard that both BBB and cuddlebuns are really good. I would have no idea though because I don't use fitteds.

If you like pockets then BumG are brilliant. I know some people that have just used prefolds for newborns and then bought a whole stash of BumG. These have lasted until almost TT.

Actually, they make fantastic stuffers for pockets after they've finished being prefolds! Especially if you get bamboo prefolds- fantastic absorbancy  and not crunchy and tough like hemp.

If I were having a little bubba again I'd be getting some of these for sure.

Sorry, not much help with anything else!!
