I am thinking of making a nappy bag out of PUL.

Can anyone tell me is this something that it's nice to have more than one of?

Depends what you need them for.

If its for a short trips, you'd only need to make one that fits 3-5 nappies in.

For longer trips, something that will fit up to 8 nappies in.

OR.. you can make a few individual ones that only fit one nappy in, it's really up to you.

Personally i only get wetbags that fit 3-5 nappies in because it's all i need it for.

I only have one, that fits about 3-5 nappies in, but it's funny. I don't use it very often, because we don't go out much, but when I do it seems that the next time I need it it is dirty or wet  So I guess it would be handy to have 2 but I'd have two sitting around doing nothing for ages in between uses, instead of one sitting around for ages and then being dirty when I need to use it again. Does that make sense

Yes they are good, and I like the size of mine 3 - 5 nappies :p

I have a few (all handmade) and they fit 4-5 nappies in easily. I like having a few incase I get lazy with the washing

You could just make one if you like, but you'll need to wash it after use... so you might want 2 incase you go out twice in a row.

I have a few because they came with my peapods... but I have a few glad snap-lock bags (big ones) in my nappy bag in case I really need them. lol.
