My BEST friends wedding is on the 7th of april this year and I am to be chief bridesmaid and I Havnt lost ANY post baby weight!!! infact Ive gone up a whole dress size after my beautiful baby girl .... Im a little depressed ..... (my friend -god love her & the other bridesmaid have no children and cant understand what Im truly feeling right now... ie fat chick)

p.s dont worry Im not an annorexic head case Im actually a size 16/18
In the absence of excessive body hair todays woman needs excess body weight for baby to cling to.
did that help?

Any extra weight you are carrying is just more of you for your bubba to love ;) That is what I keep telling myself.......
Thanks girls you are certainly getting me there

Nope don't sound like a whinger at all. I have to be a bridesmaid in 12 or 13 months time and I am petrified I will be too FAT (by my standards, not the bride), I am a 16 now and want to get down to my old 10-12 (FAT Chance!!) I'll be happy to be 12 - 14 by the wedding. I plan on walking and walking and eating nothing but steamed vegies and fruit and drinking nothing but water for the month before the wedding  Some weight loss regime huh??
I will hopefully be able to get motivated well before that!!

Thankyou so much for your story... Im going crazy :)
BROOKE YOU'RE HILARIOUS!! yeah join the size 16 club with me!! Honestly can't be fagged to try to loose it. It's the happiest i've ever been and i've struggled with my weight before DD.
Hate to be a bridesmade! you poor thing. Have a couple of wines on the day and the day should fly past!

thanks :D Seriuosly though it was ALOT of pressure to be in a bridal party only months after giving birth ... my poor best bride didnt even pick the dresses till asbout 2mnths ago ... due to me...
Im going to have to have a champers or two that day :p
invest in a good pair of "scary stomach holding in pants, loved by grannies world wide", I always feel better when I have to wear a dress and I have a pair of those on. ;)
The fatter you are the skinnier the bride looks.
And it IS her day :)
Don't worry, she'll love you for it.
