Anyone have a wagon with the extra seat in the back?

Just wondering if anyone out there drives a wagon with a d!ckie seat in the back of it, are they good, what weight limit can usually fit in the back?

Did you put it in yourself, was it expensive to have it installed?

Hi there we have a commodore and put a two seater in the boot. It is great. You get more 'luggage' space still than with some of the people movers. It is easy to fold flat to still fill up the boot with 'stuff'. You can also remove it totally if necessary though we never have. It cost us about $1600. I would recommend the 2 seater as a three seater is difficult to get in and out of - got to climb over it I guess. I think it is more height than weight- or more specifically leg length! My seven year old will be in it for another couple of years I reckon. A friends 10 yr old still fits in theirs.

Yep, we had one installed last month. It's great in the fact that we didn't have to upsize the car (we have a Magna). BUT..........we can't fit the pram in there if all 6 of us go somewhere. Haven't attempted grocery shopping with all 6 of us, but we will work around that in the school holidays, lol. It folds up when not needed which is a bonus. Ours can hold a child up to 38kg (my 9yr old is 10kg too heavy), or a seated height of something like 78cm (yet again, 9yr old too tall).

It cost us $1480 (2 seater) and we had it professionally installed. I'd recommend getting it installed as they fill out an RTA certificate that you need to keep in case of an accident or something.

I have one in the back of my falcon. It's a 3 seater so my car now seats 8. I can fit my pram in it's a Valco runabout and I can do the shopping with everyone in the car it's just a little squishy. I bought my car with it already installed. I find it to be:thumbsup:

Just a quick question (maybe silly lol) :o where do go about getting the extra seats in the back as we have a little run about station wagon we wouldn't mind adding to so we can fit every one in.

I had mine done at Opposite Lock. I'm pretty sure they are nationwide.
