Im wondering if anyone else's child takes off the seat belt-not the carseat harness--but the actual belt which secures the carseat to the seat(adult belt).

anyway after many attempt to tell my ds2 not to undo the seatbelt ..im looking for a product which to put over the seatbelt clasp to discourage him from undoing his seatbelt.

Ive looked on the net and have found a product called "Angel Guard"and am wondering if anyone has seen anything like this in Australia and if they have ,where did they get it ???and for how much ??

any help would be great:fingerscrossed:

I saw something that would help your problem today and I am pretty sure i saw it at Toys r Us. Otherwise it was either Target or kmart.

Ive seen the velcro ones but ds2 can and will undo velcro .
the Angel Guard ones are a plastic cover which adults can undo but toddlers can't.ill email them to see if they are available anywhere in Australia.
thanks heaps for your feedback

There is also that sort of thing in kmart. Where and alarm goes off if the seat belt has been unplugged? or something like that. Theink it plugs into cigarette lighter.

Hi, my 2 year old does the same thing. Gets her arms out of the harness and then leans over and undoes the seatbelt that is holding the carseat in place. I have found a thing I think it's called something like a humpty dumpty at my local baby shop (actually it's on order at the moment so I haven't tried it yet) apparently it's new on the market and I've been told it's really good, cost $29.00. I've also seen these advertised on ebay recently too (under safety and travel accessories).

I just found it. Do an ebay search on Hurphy Durphy.

Thanks for that, might get it from there rather than waiting for the baby shop.

I have 2 Hurphy Durphys and they are great. I often experienced the same problem and it is now solved. It is secured with heavy duty velcro... industrial strength , which wraps all the way around. My kids can't undo it, it needs adult strengh and coordination to remove.
It is also black so the orange button is camoflaged, so it doesnt attract their attention like the big exciting neon PUSH button - it blends into the interior as if it was never there :wizard:
