I think after 5 months of temping that i have noticed what is going on? I think that i only ovulate once every 2 months (cycles) this would explain why I have such long cycles.:detective:
Not that it helps any with TTC as i only get half the amount of chances to fall a year.:gloomy:
We have been TTC since June 06 but really have only had 6 cycles!!!! Frustrating!!!
Anyone else had this before???

Sorry that you have such long cycles Goin44 :hugs: Have you asked your doc if there is anything they can do to shorten them?

Yeh i have seen a gyno and they put me on clomid but it made me very sick so i didn't take them again. I have another appointment with a different gyno but it is not till July. So I will see what she says then. But in the mean time I will just have to try whenever and enjoy???

well where do i start...

i got my first period when i was 15.5. i had 2 normal periods then because of irregularity i was put on the pill (and for safe sex but dont tell my mum) and that was at 16 and a bit. I got fine af's on the pill. went off the pill at 18 and NOTHING!!!! and that was it. no periods, nothing....so i knew i would have trouble with concieving so i lied to my doc so i could get a referal to a f/s...i got put on provera to get my af... that happened, and i had to have a day 21 blood test to see if i Ovulated. turned out i had absolutly nothing working...i didnt even have a rise in my hormone levels. so non ovulatory. so doc put me on clomid. i am now up to cycle 4 of that. the first cycle, i went nuts. i was an emotional train wreck. 2nd cycle, i started seeing a natropath, got better. i also started accupuncture. FANTASTIC!!! i talk my clomid at 12 miday. and at 5pm i still get a little hit of emotion, but i pull myself together.

it really does take a toll on my emotions but its the best chance i have at having kids. so gotta keep positive!!!!!
good luck with everything chick. if you want to talk ever pm me!!!:hugs: got lots of positivity that i can rub off!

goin44 - not good news about the long cycles but at least now you know you can deal with it and work towards your BFP.

ains - you've got a lot to overcome but it can definitely be done and we all need to stay positive.

I've been trying for almost 4 years and my cycles vary from 28-33 days so im fairly lucky from that respect. We all need to stay positive and we'll get there in the end.

Hi ains, No assistance yet! I was supposed to try IUI this month but I keep putting it off (think im too scared to use up my life lines and for it not to work!). I think it'll just happen when the times right - i wouldn't have done half the things i have over the past 4 years if I'd have got pregnant right away so I think it's all just meant to be. Although in saying that I do plan to start with IUI over the coming months if I don't get my BFP soon!!! :)
