Waking earlier than normal

Our son Charlie is 3 and 1/2 months old. He generally has 5 feeds a day, the last at 10.30pm and had been sleeping through to 7 or 8am. When he did this he never really has too much for his first feed of the day. However for the past 3 mornings he has woken up at 5am looking for a feed and taken a full one.
Has anyone else encountered this ?? Is it possible he is going through a growth spurt and should we increase the amount we feed him ??

I would be inclined to think he is having a growth spurt and I would let him guide you as too how many feeds he needs at the moment. It never lasts too long if they are growing and he should go back to long night sleeps again soon.

Follow his lead and you should all be happy and rested still!

Yep sounds like a growth spurt !!!
Just keep him fed when he wants it.
I often had to feed my bubs every 2 to 3hrs not fun but it made for a happier baby !
