My almost 4 month old has started rolling over.
Its so funny watching him because he cant get back again. He always hated being put on his tummy. This morning I woke to him banging the monitor with his foot as he was tummy surfing in bed.
You got to love every stage.

Thats when the trouble begins !!!!!
My bubs has just realised that if he uses all his strength he can get up on his toes with hands flat on the floor & this makes me worried as usually they figure out how to pull up using objects & then "cruise" but if he has this sort of balance already & is working out how to get up then i have no hope !!!!
:D lol, thats like me Carolynne, Jacob cant figure out how he has gotten to be on his tummy and gets quite cranky!! I think on an average day I would turn him back over 20 times!

my bubby does the same thing. she works herself into a lather when shes on her tummy and unhappy about it. i roll her back and within a minute she is back on her tummy. cheeky miss!:)
My DD Romilly can roll and has done it a few times, but doesn't seem to want to.
She is quite the wriggler and does a 360 degree spin on her back. She is never in the same position when you check her in the cot.
She has great head and neck control but hasn't enjoyed tummy time for the last two months (loved it during her first 3 months).
Maybe she is a bit lazy like Lucas?
I know she will roll more in her own time, and I should just be lucky that I don't have to keep turning back over all the time. Z

My ds was rolling tum to back at 3mtnhs and then stopped and started just rolling all over at around 4 mnths now he is always on his tummy trying to crawl at 5mnths... So many developments at their age!!
Hi there mums to rolling bubs,
My ds who is now 6 and a half mths, STILL isn't rolling!
Daddy and I are a little concerned but seeing as he is nearly sitting by himself, humps around in his Jolly Jumper like a pro and is fine in all other areas, we figure he'll get there soon (but maybe we'll regret it when he does finally "flip"!
I am led to believe that boys are slower in the motor skills area, but is this normal for him not to be rolling yet? He has never been one to enjoy "tummy time" until recently where he enjoys it but soon lets us know when he's had enough. I then tilt him to the side and show him how to "roll" onto his back. He can reach for things and gets on his side, but doesn't seem interested in going all the way over; I think it's laziness (he must get it from his Dad, LOL)!
Is there anyone else out there who has a lo not rolling yet???
A little worried,
Kye
