Hey Mel,
I am not in Northern WA, I am in Perth, but would love to chat anyway.
How are you? My name is Claire (as u can probably tell by my sign on!)
I have a 13 month old boy called Aiden. We have been living in Perth for a year now after moving from Aberdeen in Scotland. We are just about to move house again, I hate moving, but our new house is really really nice and I cant wait to move in so Im sure it will be worth it.
Anyway, I hope you are well and that you will chat back,
Bye
Claire :D

Hi
I am not really in the true North anymore either but I am definately north of Perth. We are about 8.5 hours north but that really depends on how Tashie is feeling! I am expecting number 2 in July so we are doing a few more trips to Perth to see the Doctor and scans and so forth. Tash is getting pretty sick of the long trips already. She has just turned 1 though by the way she is some days I swear the terrible 2's are kicking in real early.

Hi Anna, my name is Madeleine, I come from Broome which is in the far North of WA. I have a daughter, Jessica, who will be one year old on the 16th of February. We are planning for a second child soon.
Thanks for replying, I thought I was going to be all by my-self!
I stumbled across Bub Hub and have became addicted! lol, I think its fantastic, getting to meet all different people.
At the moment i'm working on my online baby album, so when its finished i'll send you guys the link if you like so you can see my chubba bubba.
Wow, I bet its a big change for you Claire moving from Scotland to Australia, luckly you picked WA (its the best state lol).

Hey,
I think WA is the best state too, but I havnt been anywhere else so I guess I would think that!!
Yes, a move with a 6 week old baby was tough.
My DH was here already so I flew by myself with him, it was the longest 24 hours of my life. I left the UK and it was -3 deg, got here and it was 30 something! Luckily I didnt get jetlag cause my body clock was all messed up with during the night feeding!!
Have you always lived in WA??

Hi there,
I'm not living in the Pilbara, but I'm working fifo out at Telfer til I'm too big to fly. How is the heat treating you? (oops forgot to finish this, I'm losing my mind!!). Its 40 + here again today, I am so thankful for airconditioning, but the dehydration is my biggest problem at the moment, I'm going through about 5 litres a day and still constantly thirsty!!
Hope your nice and cool somewhere in an airconditioned building. My brother lives in Paraburdoo and I've lived all over the Pilbara, so I can relate to the isolated conditions and lack of choice regarding services. Are you going to deliver in Karratha? I was born in that hospital :)
Take care Mel and stay cool!!

i used to live in PARABURDOO! I was actually born there and only just moved away 5 months ago, down the 80km road to Tom Price! I moved to Tom
Price as this is where my partner was living. I'll PM you Simone to see if we maybe know each other? And you too Carmel Jane to see if I know your brother?
The heat isnt too bad (well actually I dont really spend that much time outside to be honest ). But my DP has been coming home the last few days getting burnt so i'm assuming its pretty bad :(. Ooh and Carmel Jane, Jacob was born at Nickol Bay Hospital (Karratha)! It truley is a small world. We are going on our first holiday next week for Australia Day to Coral Bay for 4 days which should be excellent, but it is depending on this Cyclone. 2 in 2 weeks!! We haven't had any for ages . I sure have always lived in WA Clare, but north too except I went to Boarding School for year 11 and 12.
Take care everyone, hope to hear from your all soon!
Mel xx
My parents lived in Paraburdoo for 9 years so I have visited up there and Tom Price a bit in the past so thought I would stick my head in to say hi! My mum taught at the primary school during the 90's so you would probably have known her. (She taught the special needs students more than main stream classes.)
