My scar ripped about 4 cm the first time (I fell down some stairs) and it became really thick and lumpy. I ripped a little on the inside as well so the same thing happened on my uterus. Bub 2 had to be another emergancy because I nearly ruptured. My uterus was pulling away from the scar not the scar streching like its supposed to. I'd go to the Doctor if it is really bad he might be able to put a couple of stiches back in or just use a steristip to pull it closed.

I got this 3 weeks after my c/s, I went and saw a gp about it and he said it was most likely because of a "cat-gut" stitch. (a style of internal stitching)
He just put some medical tape stuff over the hole and I had to wash and re-dress twice a day for a couple of weeks until the hole healed over. Mine was weepy but not sore also.
Can't hurt to get it checked out

I never had any problems with my scar however my SIL did, along the lines of what you experienced.
I would see a GP as a precaution.

I had the same problem and went to my GP. She gave me some antibotics as there was evidence of infection and told me to not wear clothes that would rub against the site. The small hole closed up after a week.
See your Dr just to be on the safe side.

i have a small hole with a stitch that is sticking out it is not sore at all but so itchy but i am going to go to the doctors as i think it is stopping the hole from closing, i also have a drain hole that is closing slowly, doctor said just to watch it and if it starts to go red get to the docotrs for antibiotics, hope this helps a little
