i was being induced on wednesday, and i went into the hospital to have the gel put on at 2pm. that was all i needed for my labour to start. i was having mild very irregular contractions from about an hour ofter that and went for a walk so i could go into labour.
for hours i was having these slight contractionsthat just wouldnt regulate. then grant came, didnt once look at me or even say hello and that was it. i told him to leave as he was making me uncomfortable. and about 2 seconds after he walked out of the room, my waters broke. hayden had poohed inside so the waters were the green coulour and i started freaking out.. Christy ran and got the nurse and she put me in a wheel chair and i have never seen a little person run that fast with a woman in a wheel chair in my life. we got upstairs and after about 1 hour from my waters breaking i felt the urge to push. he dropped down and started crowning within 2 minutes, and the midwife saw that the cord was around his neck. apparently i asked for grant to be there (so says lisa my other birthing partner who was basicaly useless talking about here own birth throughout my one over and over again. and had little comments like "i didnt scream like that when i was in labour......i didnt need the gas when i was in labour")
so he came as i was pushing and refused to hold my hand. hayden was posteria, and had the cord around his neck twice, so i was basicaly pushing a posteria baby non stop to get him out, and that included when i wasnt even contracting. he came out after a total of 6 minutes of pushing, and i dont think i would have gotten through those 6 minutes without my friend, and haydens god mother christy. he wasnt breathing and had to be resusaatated. he asperated the meconium into his lungs and his shoulder was dislocated, which they didnt pick up until he was 2 days old but now i have my little man, so all of that make it very worth it.
he is coming home today!!!!!
has been in the icu because of the mecunium asperation for the past week, and has only now recovered from a very traumatic birth for the poor little man. he is finally feeding and waking up!
