Hi

I am having a ceaser on 31st Jan and was looking for a present to buy for my daughter, to give her once the baby is born... has anyone else done this?
what present did you buy?
I was thinking about a new doll but she already has so many.... i think i want to give her something baby related so she feels like she is a mummy too...
any ideas?

With our second we bought each of the kids a teddy bear. Angus got to pick out the one that he wanted to give to the baby and then we chose the one for the baby to give him. We will be doing the same this time round but don't know what get.

Hi hon,
We got something for Nathan when PJ was born, but can you actually believe I can't remember what it was?! Probably something Nemo related, cause that's his obsession.
Some of our friends got him pressies too. :D

This will sound stupid, but when Charlee was born we got Mac a Hi5 dvd and a book, Goodnight Me, from her....A bit lame i know....

She was being looked after her grandparents while i was in hospital (c/s), so we were kinda worried about her being away from me for the first time and leaving the hospital every night after visiting. I know they're not really sentimental things, but she loved them, and had something to look forward to when she went home. We wrote in the book from Charlee, so she can remember that she gave it to her when she was born.

We didn't buy anything baby related, just things that were for special Mummy and Bella time! It meant that we had something new to do together while Daniel slept and then she was satisfied was happy to help me with Daniel while he was awake.

She adores her brother ... she has been known to come to me in the middle of the night, just to drag me back to their room to show me her "little brother who is soooo cute!". Bear in mind that she is 4 3/4 now and Daniel is almost 3! She is his number one fan!

I think I bought colouring books, crayons, puzzles and other "big girl" things ... she was 21 months at the time.

We bought DD a dolls bath when DS was born. Boy has she got some use out of it, every time DS was being bathed she would bath her doll on the table next to me.
