Well Peter and I had a HUGE day out going to parks, having lunch and just being outside all day.

He didnt sleep through the day but dropped off at around 5pm... he's still sleeping!:sleeping:So he's been asleep for 2 hours.

Im scared if i let him go he'll wake up later and be awake till all hours of the night but i feel bad waking him as he probably needs the sleep.

What would you do?

:o Im desperate... i think i should wake him but i think he'll be grumpy!

Plus i dont have the ability to stay up past midnight tonight, im so tired....

Also if he does continue sleeping, what if he wants to get up at like 4am in the morning? He doesnt normally go to bed till at least 8pm.

Anyone been in the same boat?

Usually if mine go to sleep around then they are up at 4 so i say go to bed early :) but they will have a drink and go back down till 7
If i wake mine up they are unbearable and up till 2am
Does he usually sleep pretty solidly at night?

We like to put our daughter in bed by about 7.30 so if she is still sleeping at 5 we wake her, otherwise it will be 8.30 / 9 before she goes back to sleep.

Generally he'll wake twice through the night...

Yeah i will try to go to bed earlier... its hard because i dont normally feel sleepy till 10pm.

Wy did that last night Nat, he zonked at 5pm and luckily slept until 6am. He's 2 weeks older than your Peter.

I say let him go, otherwise he might not go to bed again till after midnight anyways.

Ok well...

As you girls know i let him sleep.

He woke up at 9pm...:banghead: BUT by midnight i was so tired and he looked a bit tired so i laid him in my bed with me and he went back to sleep while i was falling asleep too:)

He woke up twice through the night and got up at 8am.

So it worked out better than i thought!

Lol.. yep that was my big worry last night!

Especially when its such a late afternoon nap... you think "are they going to wake and be up for the next 6 hours... or more???"

Thats so cute that the boys are similar in age :)

I try and cut him off from naps at 2pm, but the plans always dont go down to plan LOL!

There's not too many boys on here so close in age like our two :)

Is Peter a realy food critic at the mo? Wyatt is shocking. Even turns his nose up at his favourites and asks me for a vegemite or jam sandwich instead *bangs head*
And his attitude is shocking already LOL!

Yeah i dont know many mums (except one IRL) who have kids born the same time as peter.

Im the same, except my cut off is usually 3pm as i stay up late at night most nights anyway and if he wakes at 5pm he's still normally ready for bed by 9:30pm latest.

Unfortunately for peter, he's always been a "picky" eater but it has gotten worse. He's not even eating the things he used to love.

I actually think he's getting his 2 year molars (he hasnt got them yet), he's just not eating as much as he used to and he's attitude has been a bit odd. Im hoping its the molars causing it lol.

Has wyatt got his molars yet?

Yep, he has his, and boy, they hurt when he bit me the other day to check *ouch!*

Wy's attitude was shocking when thet popped through a few months back. Chewing everything in sight too LOL!

He loves using the word "No" a lot lately too and never seems to make up his mind most days "I want this, now I dont, I want it back, take it bacK" and then wants something completely different LOL! Frustrating!

Oh yes...thats peters word for the day everyday!

Everythings "no" ...
Can i have a kiss? "no!"
Are you hungry? "no!"
Do you love mummy? "no!"

He has half an idea what "no" means but says it even when he means yes! lol.

They're funny little men they are!
