Your decorations sound AMAZING... you must be excited!!!

Have you thought of Fairy dust everywhere..... glitter, & star & heart sprinkles ( abig to clean up though :p )
A fairy cake. Maybe you could hire an entertainer who dresses up as a fairy.
I cant wait for DD to be old enough for a fairy party!!! Sounds like fun

I agree, it sounds awesome. Maybe you could have a craft table set up and they could make fairy wands. You can use cardboard for the stars and roll up A4 printing paper on the diagonal very tightly then use sticky tape to secure the end for the wand handles and have glitter, glues, sparkly ribbons etc and they could make their own wands.

im not sure where abouts you live but there is this lady here who dresses up as a fairy and does face paintings and party activities ... maybe you can find one in your area too.

lots of butterflys and stars and more glitter....

I don't really have any ideas for you, though the things you've done already sound amazing! Easterlily's idea of the craft table for making wands etc sounds excellent too!

I shall have to write all these things down for DD1's next party!

I love fairies. I want a fairy party for my 30th but DH said no  . Hmmm, wonder how he'd feel about a fairy party for DS, LOL.

All of your ideas are amazing, and I love the idea of having the kids make their own wands too. Will keep them amused and will be so much fun too. I'm a big lover of fairy dust everywhere, such a nightmare to clean up, but so well worth it IMO. Then again I'd have fairy dust sprinkled around the house if I could, lol.

Your avatar is just gorgeous. She makes a very beautiful fairy - by far one of the prettiest I've ever seen :D

Thanx I have heaps of glitter and I love the idea of the net and I am going to be the fairy who does face painting alongside my niece and sis in law.... Why pay $200 when I have wonderful people to do it for free.... I might get some artificial flowers cause I dont have many in the back yard.... The colours I have chosen are pink yellow blue purple and fairy pink.... Thanx for all the great ideas I have to save them now...

Hi, Im not sure if this is the kind of information you are after but my sister and I just put on a fairy themed mini party for my 7 year old neice (there was only 7 of us there)
I purchased the following items from the local Spotlight store;

Large and small fairy themed paper plates and party hats (approx $4.00 a set of 8?).
Plain pink cups and plastic cuttlery was also purchased (approx $2.00 a set).
For the birthday girl a sparkly pink tiara ($2.00)was purchased to match her pink fairy dress.
We covered the table in a pink plastic cover ($3.00) and on top I placed 2 metres of pink metalic lame' material ($3.00 a metre).
The table was also covered in metalic butterfly cut outs ($2.00) to add a little sparkle.
Spotlight also stock helium quality ballons with fairies on them for approx $4.00 for a pack of 8 from memory.

The table looked fantastic and the fairy theme was a hit with my neice.
