Breastfed bubs are not meant to be smelly in the fart and poo department right?

Ebony, her farts smell soooooo bad, very very eggy and like a sweet/eggy smell.... it is worse than DH farts lol she farts ALOT!!!

I'm a January mum and my DS's farts and poos stink to high heavan. :laughing:

I thought breastfed babies farts and poos weren't meant to smell either....not the case here! :eek:

:laughing: Sorry Kristy, I haven't been on here all day to read your post!

They are meant to smell better than formula poos, but they can still stink! Nick has pooed while i've been feeding him, and they haven't smelt too good. It can depend on what you have had to eat too i think.

I porbably just don't notice it as much, as i also have to change a 2yo nappy as well - and my do they reek! I have to air out the whole room after.

Well I eat pretty bland foods right now, whatever I can eat on the go with 3 kids lol which is most likely a slice of cold toast with vegemite and a coffee hehe maybe it is the coffee??!! At first we thought it was because I was on a few lots of antibiotics for the phh and infection.... but my courses have run out now... :confused:

:yes: Oh yeah - our DS2 had the stinkiest butt ever as a BF baby - he won over his dad anyday too! My SIL actually opens the windows when I change him if he poos at their house:laughing:

dd is bf and she farts, a lot. She also has stinky poos sometimes. Mostly what comes out in the nappy area just smells like weird off roast chicken:barf: :p

I ate 'Maggie chicken & corn noodles' on the weekend... next nappy change smelled EXACTLY like them!!! Won't be eating them for a while (actually ever, the smell would always remind me of **** now!!!):laughing:

lily has some stinky farts and poos as well. she can be a right little 'trumpet' at times... almost rivalling her dad!! :laughing:

:laughing: Annalise smells baaaaaaaad! She's breastfed too and her farts are just rotten. They are so loud as well, we can hear them over the baby monitor at night. We lie in bed laughing at her. Good thing her room is far away from ours cos you can smell the farts as soon as you get near her door! DH encourages her though, whenever she farts, HE farts. My house is like a trumpet factory.
