Pregnancy symptoms

Our youngest is 12 months and is still breastfed. I have been on the mini pill all this time. For nearly 2 weeks I have had all of the pregnancy symptoms I had when I was pregnant with our 3 boys. I think that it is very possible that I am pregnant but I am not sure when to do a pregnancy test. Being on the mini pill I didn't have a regular period so cannot work from those dates and cannot therefore work out when my period should be due. If I am pregnant this is unplanned and very unexpected. Saying that we will be happy to welcome one more to our happy family but it will be hard work! (4 kids under 6 years!!) I am thinking that I will do a pregnancy test this weekend if nothing changes before then. However, I don't want to do it too early and get an incorrect result. Any advice would be welcome.

Hi 3boysmum, the only thing i can recommend is to go to the doctor for a blood test. That way you know for sure whats happening. They are more accurate and can pick up pg very early on. I hope this helps you a little bit. Let us know how you go and what you decide to do.

Did a HPT yesterday which was negative. Still have all the symptoms. I haven't got a very good history with HPT's though. I was 8 weeks pregnant with our 3rd son before I got a positive. I guess it is just a waiting game now. If I don't get a period fairly soon I will go to my GP and get a blood test done. It is just difficult not knowing dates etc and just waiting around.

Got my period today. I am relieved as it isn't the right time for us. I think that we will try for one more baby but not for a few more years. Perhaps when Ash is about 2 and a half. At the moment I would like to concentrate on our 3 beautiful boys.
