Well there isn't that much to tell, I had no idea I was in labour until 10 minutes before I gave birth.
I was watching tv and I had a few very mild cramps (I just thought I had eaten something that didn;t agree with me or that I had to go and do a big poo :o ) that started around 7pm but the cramps weren;t getting any stronger and they were all over the place (not regular) then they stopped after a while so I just ignored the fact that I could be in labour, I thought maybe it was my body preparing for labour.
Anyway I went to bed around midnight and by about 1am or there abouts the cramps got stronger, this time they were in my back but because I had a bit of back pain throughout my pregnancy I just thought it was my back playing up again and if I take a panadol I will be ok. At around 1.35 my waters broke and thats when the pain really hit, Grant rung my SIL to come and get us to take us to the hospital, she got to our house in 5 minutes (she sped) and in that time I had hahd about 3 or 4 very painful contractions (though it felt like one really big one) and I felf the head, I told Grant and he rung the ambulance and only minutes before they arrived I gave birth (I delivered her myself while Grant was trying to look after Hayley) though the labour was relatively easy it is pretty scary having a baby at home esp since anything could have gone wrong. Well at least we are ok, Skye was blueish -grey when she came out but she cried pretty much straight away, thank God. Hayley was almost born at home too.
So even though I was having cramps for a few hours and they weren't painful or anything and had no idea I was in labour it only felt like I was in labour for about 10 minutes.
