Too early to tell?

i am on day 44 on my cycle and still no AF. I think I ovulated around Day 26 due to positive OPK. My period always comes 14 days afterwards

I tested on Saturday when AF was due and a resounding negative :(

last week I had crampy feelings like AF was coming and then nothing

last few days have been feeling tired and dizzy

has anyone felt like this? it is too early to get a positive result day of your missed period?
I don't want to get my hopes up so keep telling myself it's probably just stress or a late period

Are you AF usually regular?

Are you on any medication that may effect your hormones?

wantabub - no, no medication for hormones and no blood test yet

my periods have been getting progressively longer for some strange reason, last month was 39 days, but I ovulated 14 days prior on the day I thought I did, so the luteal phase has always been the same length

about one week ago I got what I thought was a faint positive on a pregnosis test but then tested again with a different brand and was negative. after seeing the thread on how inaccurate the pregnosis tests are I'm just dismissing that one.

i think I will wait to next weekend, and if nothing test again

Maybe the test you did saturday you were to low lvl to be picked up maybe try again in the morning and see what happens.

You may not want to hear this, but your body may have ramped up to ovulate (hence the +opk) and then didnt...at the time you thought you did anyway. Ive heard of many women who will get a +opk, but then not ovulate....only to ovulate later in their cycle. Sometimes your body just wigs out. This may have been the case for you. I would wait another week or so and see what happens. Keep us posted!

well AF reared her ugly head today :gloomy:

on day 46...I have no idea what is going on with my body...I have decided to book in to my doctor as I am due for a pap smear and will ask for a blood test...

I wonder if my periods going out of whack is somehow connected to a few months ago when I found out I had benign breast cysts..they just appeared overnight and one was very large.

any one had similar experiences?

BTW wantabub i read you're other thread and I'm sorry that AF arrived too, I feel exactly the same
