Ok... I wasted time today instead of doing work,
This is the Jolly Jumper Work Out Video
(http://www.bizztools.net/misc/jollyjumper.html)
Feel free to try it at home if you have a baby and a jolly jumper!!
OMG... that is the best thing I have seen for ages !! :D
Monty looks like he was enjoying himself !!
HOLLIE - love the workout! hope you don't mind if i email it to Al? he needs some exercise lol...
Shezi... I make DP's lunches and we both eat really well and don't scrimp on food.. but there is NO WAY we would spend that much on just lunches in a week. Even with smoked salmon and protein drinks.
Maybe make them for him .. got to make a compromise on these things if you want him to cut down on expenses. Worth the extra 15 minutes in the kitchen to save the $.
its the red bull.. he buys the bottles from the servo.. upto 4 a day if he has the money. its pathetic.
sadly even if i made his lunch he'd still get the drinks. i even tried buying the 4pack of redbull cans.. works out heaps cheaper coz its from the supermarket..($10 for 4 instead of $5 or so each) but no. for some reason the cans taste different to the bottles..
i just cant be bothered with him to be honest. try talking to him and he either gets ****ty and starts swearing at me which i hate(anything to do with money/saving) or ignores me completely and watches tv(just day to day chitchat) and if i say dont worry i wont bother then.. he'll repeat my last few words and say see i was listening.. but i just cant talk to someone when they wont even look at me or respond. kinda sad actually.
i just dont know what he's getting out of this. 9 times out of 10 he cant be bothered with the girls.. sleeps the days away on weekends but if his mate or family calls he's out the door. im surprised he's still here. i dont doubt that he loves me 'in his own way'. i just know im in love with the guy i know he can be, the one he used to be.
  well lt you and your boys just put a smile on my face. how cute! love the waving at the end.
i think your frog needs a few babies to lift tho. either that or monty needs to gain some more kgs!:D
great pics LL. he's gorgeous! love the sox. i saw in a mag they did the ballet style ones also but emailed them and its been discontinued.. so im going to settle for the MJ's.
Holly, 2 seconds on YouTube and you would be an international star with that one  Great work
Thank you all, he is sleeping now, after another crazy 'purple-face' bout, I was trying to relax in the shower, HA! Not likely Mummy! Had to jump out and feed him half way, DH being a dream though, he actually has had him on his desk all evening which is very calming for me, even when I am still doing stuff with him. Had to laugh when I got out of the shower, only 1 towel left as I've let Kes poo and wee on the rest so he doesn't need his nappy on :o
Shezi-DH used to be like that with 'V', could easily blow $20 a day on the stuff... it sounds a lot like he is going to the extreme to be 'anti' responsible, acting out. Unfair for you (you're stuck being the grownup and looking after everything!) but maybe let him have it his way a bit more for a bit, it sounds bad, but he may be having trouble breaking out of the depression he is in, so by seeing that you'll still love and humour him when he is being a sh!t would help him? Sorry if it's out of line, just reminds me of me and DH a couple of years ago. :hugs:
LL-those kickers are awesome, are they urban baby? Harper looks so grown up! Like a little toddler already :crying: I'm not ready for us to all have toddlers!
Shezi-thanks for the tummy rub tip, I will try that if he cracks it again.

OMG that's fantastic LOL
BG what about massaging coopers tummy?
Even though i'm sure cooper would enjoy it, I don't think it will help Kes much
:o oops. trust me to be the first one to write the wrong bubbas name! hehe sorry kes & coop!:hugs:
glad to hear kes is sleeping for ya bg. no matter how cute babies are they always look that much cuter while they're dreaming dont they!
bg :hugs: you arent out of line at all! makes complete sense. this would be the benefit of living together for years prior to having kids i reckon. we didnt move in together till 6weeks before D was born. so he came and went as he pleased before then. stayed over but its not the same.. we could both get away when we needed to. we had separate money and all. amazing the arguments that come about from living together isnt it! i just assumed the 'settling in' would be over by now. better not be coz i cant live with him for the next however many years as he is:laughing:
thanx girls for everyone letting me b!tch. i feel horrible whinging on here when i should just talk about the girls.
Shezi hun you got me going again! I should move to perth & when our dp/dh's p!$$ us off we can go to each other's place & they can go & be dh's together. Haha ...
 come on over!

Even though i'm sure cooper would enjoy it, I don't think it will help Kes much
 Thats hilarious! I had to re-read that!! love it!
Ok here goes...
Firstly, thanks for all the congrats re Griff rolling. I put him on his tummy again today just to make sure that the other 7 werent flukes and what do ya know? He did it again and again!! :yelclap: I will video it with my video tomorrow to show you all.
Sarah - Yay for O dressing himself!! That is quite an achievement! I can always tell when Amity is trying to change her clothes in her room because i hear all her screams of frustration!! She always gets it in the end though lol
Sheree and LL - Re Perth meet up.. I am free mondays, thursdays and Tuesdays. Tuesday i dont have Amity though. Sheree i am happy to drive to your place on any of those days hun.
Caithi - Looking forward to hearing about Nai's christening and seeing some pics of the little princess
Carrie - Yay for Ella blowing raspberries!! Amity was always a fan of those as a baby too!
Jenny - B looks sooo cute! I LOVE the last one where he is sucking his lip! What a classic! And congrats on the apartment! Thats awesome news!!
Emma - I love the face Cooper is pulling!! Almost looks like you two were having a funny face comp!
Gemma - Tilly looks adorable! I think her confusion adds to the cuteness factor.
LT - OMG! You crack me up something cruel! I agree with Gin, put that on Youtube and watch it go off!!
LL - Harper looks like such a big boy in that pic with his monkey! He has such a beautifully soft complexion... I am very jealous!
Gin - Im glad that Kes has finally settled for you... Rubbing his tummy may help (i think Anna said to rub in a clockwise motion to go with the flow of the intestines!?). Could he have been overtired or overstimulated at all?? Or maybe he just wanted a cuddle?? You would know him best though, all we can really do is offer suggestions and advice.
Now for the general stuff that i forgot who mentioned what:
Tummy time: Griff doesnt get a great deal of tummy time on the floor BUT he does enjoy laying it when he does! Also, for all the babes that dont enjoy tummy time, maybe you mummies can try laying on the floor facing them so that they have to lift up to see you OR you can buy a tummy time mirror where it sits on the floor in front of them and when they lift up they are able to see themselves in the mirror! I think the laying on the floor in front of them is more rewarding though.
Lol, Griff is a very chatty baby too! He is always talking about something... I usually reply with "I used to have one of those but the wheels fell off" not that i know what he is talking about though, just fun to play.
I had a god day today. My mum rang when i was in the shower and asked if her and my stepdad could take Amity to mandurah with them... i said yes lol! Then my dad and stepmum rang and popped in then while they were here we were invited over for tea at the in-laws in the evening so we ended up seeing all 3 sets of parents in one day!!
Emma - I love the face Cooper is pulling!! Almost looks like you two were having a funny face comp!
Well I can asure you my face didn't look anything like that LOL
That's great Griff rolled again :smiliedance:
Morning,
Tummy time - whats that?:o No leah isn't a big one on tummy time so neither am I. I do make the effort every few days. Bad mummy.
Gin, checkin Kes's mouth for white spots. May have a touch of thrush. They will be on the inside of the cheeks if there is. Its a very common cause of babies being upset and not eating. Sorry to hear you had such a rough time. Leah was a bit like that last night. Went to pieces for an hour or so before bed time. Strange.
B'sMum, what a gorgous family you have. Thanks for sharing.
LT, that is a fantastic video! Gave me a giggle this time of morning BEFORE my morning caffine hit.
Us, not much going on. Visiting a friend today with a daughter a few weeks younger than Leah. Leah slept with me last night. Was too tired to feed her at 12 so popped her in bed for a feed and forgot to put her back. Crink in my neck now.
Off to look for a babysitter.
Have a great day girls.

Guess what? We're buying an apartment!
Thats great news - love the pics too!
I cant remember if i put this up or not BUT at the expo I saw these gorgeous crochet booties and was kicking myself for not buying them
http://www.isoki.com.au/view.php?img=20
Jacey's were just like these too - so cute. They are white with a little pink flower on the toe! Loved them - they were $20!
i even tried buying the 4pack of redbull cans.. works out heaps cheaper coz its from the supermarket..($10 for 4 instead of $5 or so each) but no. for some reason the cans taste different to the bottles..
Shezi is he a fussy eater too???? Sounds like my Ex!! He wouldnt eat frozen meat!! WTF!! He drove me insane - and everything had to be the best!! grrh no idea why I stayed with him for 6yrs:banghead: Thank god my DH is a mans man, eats whatever and anything, is not into brand names and will drink or eat home brand food items  Gosh I love him.
:hugs: Hope he starts to realise who is more important in his life - you and the girls should be number 1!
Oh LT - what a great video. Monty looks so grown up, I havent even thought about trying Jacey in the Jolly Jumper but I dont think her head is quite strong enough..... not sure, she sits on our laps with me just holding her for support and if I lay her back she pulls her head forward and doesnt want to lay back though so maybe in a few weeks. Logan loved his JJ too!
I know I dont want Jacey to grow up too fast but at the same time I cant wait for her to be able to sit in her activity station!! That will be fantastic! We can sit out side and she can just look around while we cook a BBQ!! That way Logan wont fall on her accidently!!
Jacey's sleeping is so unpredictable of late.... she wakes anywhere from 2am to 6am!! Cant pick it at all. Last night it was 2.20am, then she woke at 5.30am which is very unusal cause even when she wakes at 2am she usually sleeps until 7am, anyway then get her back to sleep at 6.30am and Logan woke!! hmmm - at least though Logan slept through!
Think we are putting our home on the market for $380K. It cost us $200K, just 2 years ago so we have done pretty well. I'd be happy with $370 though so fingers crossed it doesnt last long on the market.
I guess I better go and get organised for the day. Tile and carpet cleaners here at lunchtime. I hate people in our home :-(
Have a good day all

Jenny~ you look heaps young in your pics hun, lucky thing! You've got a really cute boy on your hands very photogenic!
Emma~ OMGosh i love Cooper's eyes they are so blue! they remind me of O's (not the colour obviously lol) BUT the shape and how expressive they are......your in trouble lol just wait till his about 15 hehehehehe
LL~ Harper looks so adorable with the monkey, thats my fave pic his so cute!
Sheree~ red bull argh yuk! he needs to detox lol get him onto water and lemon juice :D
Gotta go......iris needs a nappy change

yep, urban baby - a box of 6 with all different colours, very cool! i don't want Harper to grow up either. i would love more sleep but he's just so gorgeous and snuggly and doesnt roll off his changetable while i put his washing away! (we go through a lot of "nappy-free time" towels and flats too!!)
amazing the arguments that come about from living together isnt it! i just assumed the 'settling in' would be over by now. better not be coz i cant live with him for the next however many years as he is:laughing:
thanx girls for everyone letting me b!tch. i feel horrible whinging on here when i should just talk about the girls.
i think Al and I lived together for over 3 years before we fot used to it. even now i still feel like his mum at times!! i'd been living by myself for years but he lived with his parents til he was finished uni so it was hard to adapt to each other.
and this forum is in no way just for talking about our kids, gotta have a good b!tch sometimes - partners, family, friends... they all annoy us at times
Sheree and LL - Re Perth meet up.. I am free mondays, thursdays and Tuesdays. Tuesday i dont have Amity though. Sheree i am happy to drive to your place on any of those days hun.
i can drive down too. how about next monday? i have my exercise class in the morning but could be there by midday (we could each bring something for lunch?) or in the arvo.
FIRSTTIME - are you around?
had a pretty good night last night, he had his usual 2-ish feed and went straight back to sleep but woke at 4.20! i brought him into my bed and i didnt think we dozed off but next thing i knew it was nearly 6 lol.
Al's last day of work today. i'm kinda looking forward to having him home and kinda not. it will be nice to have someone else to mind H so i can get stuff done but i'm sure i will get grumpy with him spending too much time on the laptop (i said to him that he should have an hour/day of shares and i would have an hour/day of bubhub - i have to admit that will be very hard!!! love the hub lol)
ok have a great day ladies and bubs

Morning Girls, well it seems that Antonio is now on a sleeping routine!! YAY! For the past week now he has been down at 11PM/midnight and slept til 8 - 8:30 :yelclap:.. dunno how long this will last tho . But im happy. It took a while but we have gotton there!
Proud Mummy! I didn't realise how much patience i actually DO have LOL!:D
Shezi is he a fussy eater too???? Sounds like my Ex!! He wouldnt eat frozen meat!! WTF!!
lol sounds similar. dp wont eat meat on a bone. weird. like its that hard to cut it off lol.
Sheree and LL - Re Perth meet up.. I am free mondays, thursdays and Tuesdays. Tuesday i dont have Amity though. Sheree i am happy to drive to your place on any of those days hun.
great well mornings probably work best for us coz M & D go down for naps around 12.30pm.
i can drive down too. how about next monday? i have my exercise class in the morning but could be there by midday (we could each bring something for lunch?) or in the arvo.
missed this.. what time in the arvo would work for you & lana? umm what about this thursday? or is it too short notice?
missed this.. what time in the arvo would work for you & lana? umm what about this thursday? or is it too short notice?
i've got the court appearance on thurs :(
on the plus side, Al is now saying he'll come with me (i think he wants some action when he gets home LOL   )
Hollie - that is the funniest video!! You have to put it on youtube! Monty looks so relaxed in his harness, he obviously enjoys being part of exercise time!!
Jenny - great photos. Where have you bought? Congratulations, its exciting to get your first place.
Shezi - maybe all the caffine is warping his head. He needs to de-tox and start thinking straight!!
Well girls are off at daycare today so Chloe and I have been to Woolies and coffee with my sister. I have been sitting at my new desk/home office in her room doing some work. I thought I would put her down in Tillys cot so it would be quieter for her but no she hated it. So now she is in the bassinette next to me sleeping away while I am making phone calls and printing, scanning etc!! Funny thing she must find the noises comforting as she knows I am in her room with her.
Sarah - have pm the spider cake info
AD - well done on the routine, great to get that full night sleep isnt it!

its a good bargaining tool hahahaha
gemma thats so funny that chloe likes noise. i wish A did. i cant get her to sleep properly till after the girls are sleeping at night! she'll sleep in my arms through the day tho.(not practical with 3!)
omg i forgot to mention.. i was up 4times last night.. to mikaelah! she's started having nightmares and then doesnt want to go to sleep coz she said theres monsters in her dreams..:( poor little chicken. shes such a sensitive little girl.. takes after me coz i was the same. i just didnt realise 3yrolds get nightmares!!
oh & gemma maybe that is whats wrong with him! i just assumed he was dropped a few times as a baby :devil6:

Just a silly question i have been thinking about for mums in the know LOL.. You know how they say with a baby's anterior fontanelle it sinks when dehydrated and rises could indiate such things as meningitis... well when i feel Antonio i can feel the "hole" "gap" whatever you call it.. but how on earth do you know if it has sunk or risen? Does the "hole/gap" get deeper/higher or is it the surrounding bone ?? I just been thinking i really wouldn't know what to look for should i need too.. tried googling it but can't come up with an exact explanation. :detective:

Hi girls
Man we're a chatty bunch last night & this morning aren't we? Reminds me of old times ... ahh ...
I have read all the posts but you will have to excuse the baby brain memory ...
LT - I sooo wish i could watch video! You'll have to post me a still pic of Monty in his JJ instead :)
LL - Harper is a stunner! I want cuddles!
Lana - Clever Griff!
Emma - Funny pic of Cooper lol.
Shezi - Hugs hun ... can i ask was it hard not living with Chris when you had M? Or easier lol?
E's crying for her bath (yes 4.30 on the dot she cries for a bath!) so better make this quick.
Jenny - Luv your photos! B is so cute sucking his lip in - can't wait for more pics.
Tummy Time: Apparently when they lie on their tummy on your tummy counts. Well E does that all the time. Yay doing something right, even if she does go to sleep like that when we have cuddles.
At NPG today I mentioned it & they suggested if bub doesn't like tummy time to put a small pillow or something like that under their front to help them & they can see their toys then. Tried this afternoon & it was heaps better.
Me - OMG you will never believe this. Everything we touch turns to $h!t atm. You know how we replaced the bonnet the other day? A friggin stupid cow hit it on dh's way home yesterday! She was talking to her friend & pulled out cos not looking! Small ding in bonnet ... Grr. Lucky it hasn't been painted yet!
THEN omg we were running on time, if not early, this morning for NPG & everything was just going to smoothly, E being too good etc went to start car & IT WOULDN'T START!!! Had to call RACQ who came out & replaced battery plus there is other sh!t going on in there too which needs doing. Poor credit card ... think i'd better put all pay except rent on it this week to pay the purchases off then pay bills after that clears to avoid interest.
Anyway rang NPG saying i'll be late. That looks good after i got up them last week doesn't it then walked in an hour late. E was good. NPG was good. E was second oldest & second biggest & first cutest LOL. She was very good and even slept in pram at end without crying like normal! YAY!
Was surprised as was due for bottle at the end of it but was asleep. Hung out another hour!
To top it all off - grandparents, car, my parent's car is getting fixed after we had it too as something with cylinders went wrong (!) and last time we had it the rear vision mirror snapped off, well my sister is struggling with her uni (perfectionist doing honours) plus dealing with grandparents plus her best friend has been admitted to psych hospital as suicidal and Mandi blames herself. It's not her fault!
Ok must go.
Hugs to everyone! Have a good night! xoxo

PS Gave you girls (well BH) a plug at NPG today! The nurse mentioned about mother's groups used to be organised by a nurse there who was funded to do it through BH or something but funding was pulled. A couple were from Sydney saying how there're heaps of MG's there but none here.
I told them to join BH as i have made gr8 friends with girls who had bubs in march also so we are always there for each other to see what is normal & support each other etc and we organise meets in our group and so far so good.
Shezi - Hugs hun ... can i ask was it hard not living with Chris when you had M? Or easier lol?
it was amazingly easy. i think i found things easy tho coz i lived at home. if i was out in my own house on my own i wouldve found it harder(only coz im not a fan of living on my own.. i like a man around at night incase something happened so the girls & i have a shield:D lol)
i dont really talk about this.. think the only person on here that knows is lana. but M isnt biologically chris's. we've been together since she was 7months old.(chris met M when she was 2weeks old. i've known him since i was 17. we nearly got together then oddly enough) its not something i talk about coz chris is in every other way her dad. We have no contact with my ex. she's seen him once(at 13months) since she was 4months old(his choice). (chris has never met him.) he has my number as does his whole family, who i might add live like 5 streets away. his mum was visiting every 3 or 4months but havent seen her either since the end of last year.
i guess i dont discuss it coz i'd rather ignore it. i plan to tell M when shes old enough to understand. its hard to know what the right thing is at times.
this is why i find things tougher at times with chris. coz its like i chose him to be M's dad. so i damn well expect him to be the best dad ever. she deserves no less.
anyway bet you didnt expect that coming out of a simple question.
AD from what i've heard the skin in the gap over the hole is noticeably sunken in when bub is dehydrated.. its so hard with meningitis coz theres so many symptoms and each symptom can fit other illnesses.

Ahh thanks Shez , there is nothing wrong with Antonio i was just curious
Also for those bubs who hate tummy time, like Antonio all i have been doing instead is holding him in a sitting pozzie on my lap or give him 'tummy time' aka cuddles on my chest both have improved his head control greatly, i still do actual tummy time but this is rare at the moment due to the fact he screams his lungs out. Although in saying that i have noticed he is slooooowly starting to lift his head this way. But the other ways also help so i don't stress about tummy time on the floor. I figure he will do it when he is ready. So why push the issue. :D
Sherree - you are full of surprises!!
1 - Boob - is it ok to feed from just one breast then go back to two? Is this possible?
2 - Photo of Nai (profesional ones are coming but I couldnt help it ) They were taken on my bed on the christenng rug that I was christened with ) The dress is neally 200 yo - Nais ggg gpa was christened in it.

Feel free to try it at home if you have a baby and a jolly jumper!!
SHE WAS THE QUEEN BUM OF THE DAY!!! Other mummies had aio's etc etc then I flipped up her dress to show off the art work and they all shut up he he (marks cousins so it was ok - liked rubbing faces in it ) was THE BEST bum cover of the day sooooooooooooooooooooo THANKYOU!!!!
How funny is the video - gave me a giggle three times round lol
PS - Can you mes me your address - need to send the insert back but lost your address - sorry!!!
FULL ONLINE PHOTO ALBUM (http://s116.photobucket.com/albums/o37/library-laksa/HARPER/)
I love your album - you look like someone I know who has this really kind and gentle nature and your photos sort of show that - its weird that through photos you can see personalities hey!
but if his mate or family calls he's out the door. im surprised he's still here. i dont doubt that he loves me 'in his own way'. i just know im in love with the guy i know he can be, the one he used to be.
I hear you lovely.... its frustrating hey:banghead:
Caithi - Looking forward to hearing about Nai's christening and seeing some pics of the little princess
Tummy time: OR you can buy a tummy time mirror where it sits on the floor in front of them and when they lift up they are able to see themselves in the mirror!
YOu can get this play mat thingy by tiny love that has this u shaped pilow that you can put baby on - tummy or back - and it sort of supports them - also comes with an angled mirror so that they can check out their spunky selves while on their tummy - nai loves it .
but M isnt biologically chris's.
Thats a huge thing to share so :hugs: for trusting us with that one babe.
Anna- thanks for the tip, I will check his mouth out.
LL-thanks for the shopping tip, I found them, so cute! I think we'll be getting a set ;) Great that Al will go to court with you, hopefully there will be a nice park nearby or something and you can make a nice day out of a cruddy duty :p
Sarah-yay for O! What a clever chook he is, now he can be the good big bro and teach Iris to dress herself when she's older.
Shezi- I can see how you expect a lot from him then! Thanks for sharing :hugs:
Gemma-Interesting how they like the noises isn't it! Even my dog gets a bit shirty when the TV or radio isn't going :o
Carrie-what a rough trot you're having with cars! It always seems to come in runs like that, so hopefully your bad luck is now officially over! Great to hear the your parents group went well, I'm super nervous about mine. LOL, like first day of school! I'm even nervous about seeing the MCHN tomorrow (first time since he was 3weeks), worried she'll say I'm doing something wrong (he still hasn't had his shots, oops!)
Took Kes in to the city to meet Mum today.
Got him out of bed at 11:30 after feeding, he was a bit sooky so hugged him till 12:30 when he fell in to such a deep sleep I changed his nappy and he didn't wake!
Caught the train in after that, and it wasn't till around 2:30 that he seemed a bit hungry so I went in to Myer baby rooms to feed him. Mum came in while he was finishing and he broke in to a huge smile, I don't think he'd realised she was walking by the pram from the train station! LOL, it was very cute, I then held him there for a while so he could grin and laugh at Grandma.
We stopped for coffee around 4 in a laneway, where he needed changing, so I just turned him around in the pram (in the back of the lane) and it made a perfect change table!
Well, at 5:30 when I took the train I thought he'd be hungry so was preparing to feed in peak hour, but he stayed happy!
At 6:30 once I was home I decided it was too long and offered him a feed, he went crazy for it! Then proceeded to do enough poo for 10 babies. Now sleeping soundly. A long day for him but he was very cruisey, I am a lucky Mum, but feeling practically engorged!
Shezi-as for nappies, it depends on their thickness I think, 1 terry flat folded with a 4 layer thickness in the crotch does for overnight for Kes, you can just put a stay-dry liner (a bit of polar fleece works well) in there so they're comfy. I love them because he's such a pooer that I go through tons of nappies, and wouldn't fancy paying for them!
Someone asked a question for breastfeeders before but i can't for the life of me remember what it was! Refresh my memory anyone?
Caithi - beautiful photos, beautiful girl, you must be so proud! (and wheres the pic of her butt then?)
re feeding, Harps has one side during the day and both at night when i am more 'empty'...
well its only 8.30 here in perth and he will probably wake up as soon as i lay down but i am mega-tired and headed to bed!
DH home tonight (midnight) and has promised to take Harper for a walk in the morning so i can have a sleep. lovely man :D
Caithi - beautiful photos, beautiful girl, you must be so proud! (and wheres the pic of her butt then?)
Ooooooops will load it up now lol
Caithi those photos are awesome! What a lovely head-piece thingamy, very sweet, she seems such a happy baby, must feel very cherished I think :hugs:
Gorgeous gown, can't believe it's in one piece after all that time! I have my Dad's (I think Kes is too chubby for it :o) and it's a bit ratty.
That's so funny about the bum cover, good on you for showing it off! :devil6:
As for the booby question, I know people re-lactate after quite some time, so shouldn't be a problem at all.

Thanks for the nice comments on the pics girls.
Sarah - what a smart boy O is, you must be very proud of him.
Gin - glad to hear that Kes had settled down now. It's hard when we dunno why bub cries.
And don't be nervous for the MCN visit tommorrow, you're a great mom and Kes is growing wonderfully
BtW, love your new avatar. Kes looks like a real big boy in it. They grow too fast don't they <sigh>
Emma - Cooper is so cute! And such beautiful big blue eyes.
LT - the Jolly Jumper video is a classic! And Monty is such a cool boy he looks really relax throughout the 'ordeal'. I laughed so hard watching it. I showed DH and he also said that you should put it in YouTube
The apt we're buying is in a complex called Jackson's Landing in Pyrmont. It's just a 2br one, so same as one we are currently renting. Funny thing is we're going to be better off renting it out when continue to rent the current place we live in, so looks like we won't be living there in the next few months or so.
LL - H is so handsome. Love the kicker socks, very cool.
Shezi - I find that sometimes guys take it a bit personally when discussing about saving. It's as if they were told that they don't make enough. Hope he comes around soon.
Lana - Sounds like Griffin has really mastered the rolling :smiliedance:
Taryn - great news about the house price, you must be really pleased with the increase in value.
AD - Antonio is such a good boy sleeping for so long.
RTCs Mum - maybe Chloe will grow up becoming a business woman. My little sister was always keen to help in my parents' shop when we're young (while my bros & I tried to avoid the duty) and she's in the process of opening her own business now.
Carrie - sorry to hear about the car. It's good that you & E had a good time in the NPG.
Caithi - Anais is such a beautiful & happy looking girl. And the dress is just divine....
Not much from us today. B is behaving well and I've been mainly busy today try to make appointments with accountant, mortgage lender, solicitor, etc to structure it properly (we want to buy it via trust). Seems like each one of them is too busy due to the financial year end. Fingers crossed we can do it on-time for settlement by end of June, cause that is the condition of the sale.
Night2 everyone.
Hollie!! thanx heaps! i got the wraps this arvo. check these out :D

Gemma-Interesting how they like the noises isn't it! Even my dog gets a bit shirty when the TV or radio isn't going :o
you reminded me about needles too(not from that comment obviously.hehe. I need to book in for A's 4month needles.. damn busy drs.. i have to book in like a month in advance just to see the one i want.
caithi gorgeous pics! Anais has such a cheeky little smile. very cute. she looks beautiful.
as for the feeding.. anna's prob the best to answer this but im thinking as long as you are still feeding bub the milk wont completely dry up on one side so going back to feeding from both will be easy. well not easy but easier than stopping completely hehe.
made me laugh re the bum cover! good on you!
LL. i know. secretive little bugger hey hehe.
We're off to look at a kindy tomorrow for M next year.. i rang today coz enrolments need to be in by the end of july. debating over which school to put her in is so hard. we've heard good & bad things about the 2 main ones we were looking at. then i dont know whether to put M into the school that my sisters twins will be going to(they're a year younger). its like a 10min drive. anyway we're going to have a look at the one within walking distance.
carrie if i lay A on her on me tum to tum, 9 times out of 10 she'll spew on my boobs lol. she's not a fan of tummy time.
i cant imagine her rolling anytime soon either. D was 5&1/2months & clearly takes after daddy lol. she didnt even sit till she was 8&1/2months! but hey look at her now. she's a terror. turn your back for 5seconds and she's using the dining room table as a trampoline
BG sounds like kes is a great shopping buddy. i'd love to go shopping with my mum. she hates shopping centres.. bit claustrophobic i reckon. she cracks me up tho coz she will still go into baby stores.
also where do i get stay dry liners from?
sarah i forgot.. Orlando is a clever little man dressing himself! im only just getting M to do it all herself. she's such a little princess tho. and readily admits it lol! she'll definitely need to marry a rich man. haha!
good luck with making the appts jenny. must be so frustrating having to wait for everyone when you know what you want and theres a cut off date.. :fingerscrossed: it all works out!
well its 11pm and once again i cant sleep.. so annoying coz i know i'll be up by 7. im so tired but not 'sleepy'. damn weird body.
goodnight all.
Morning all
Took Cooper in the big bath with me yesterday and he loved it. Other then that the day was pretty quite.
Today I have to take Cooper for his check up and needles. Dh is taking time off work to take me as my sister was going to take me except she rang me from Gladstone and said she decided to go away from the week.
Anyway we usually have a bible study on wednesday night around 7pm, and as we always go to our friends place for State of Origin Dh and I decied to have the study early tonight, then head out after. So we arranged all this and late last night I discovered State of Orgin isn't on tonight. LOL. Oh well.
Carrie glad you had a good time at you NPG. That's sucks about your car though :hugs:
Caithi, Anais looks absolutely stunning in her little Christening dress you and Mark must have been so proud on Sunday.
I'm even nervous about seeing the MCHN tomorrow (first time since he was 3weeks), worried she'll say I'm doing something wrong (he still hasn't had his shots, oops!) Cooper's having his 4mth check up and second lot of needles today :( . Don't be worried about the MCHN today, If they try and pick on anything just smack them out hehe.
damn busy drs.. i have to book in like a month in advance just to see the one i want.
Same here except mine doc is a 2 week wait. she's fantastic and the best bit is she bulk bills.
Gorgeus photos of the girls too.
guess what. A slept from 8pm till 7.30am  :yelclap:
M ofcourse thought it would be fun to yell out at 6 coz she lost her dummy. definitely time to get rid of that i think.. dummy fairy might be paying a visit next week..
emma i hope coop goes ok with his needles.. not fun.. my dr bulkbills to.. its good hey hehe
anyway will be back on later. hope everyone is having a great day. perth weather is cr@p!
Hi girls,
Super sorry, only got time to skim so Im going to forget a load of things.
Caithi, they are fantastic photos! What a beautiful dress. Yes you can go back to feeding on both boobs but it will take a few days of attaching her more regularly than you normally would to bring your milk supply back up. She wont get much (if anything) to start so feed her on the good one then pop her onto the other one before shes full so that shes sucking well and then pop her back to finish her feed until things resume back to normal.
Carrie, gawd you are having a bad run :hugs: .
Gin, sounds like a great day. RE the shots, Sam was delayed vaxed so I got all the attitudes too. Doing things different this time so was so proud of myself this morning at my ECHC appt when I could say Leah was vaxed. LOL.
Had ECHC appt today - leah is 5.6kg at 11.5 weeks. SO tiny yet so chubby LOL. She still has a yucky cold whcih is probably why IM so exhausted today listening to her sniffling and snuffling all night. Managed to loose my phone in the carpark, luckily some lovely lady called the last number on my phone and it was a good friend who I then bumped into at the shops later who told me it was at the hospital to pick up. Phew!
Anyway, gotta dash.

Hey girls
Caithi - Anais looks so adorable! Ella was on my lap smiling at her pictures lol. Where did you get the dress from? For Ella's (still yet to look into anything) i am hoping she could wear our family's christening gown which i think originally was my grandpa or grandma's, dad wore it, my aunt and us 3 kids too. However as we're catholic tradition is being christened by 3 months & E is already 3 months (!) so don't think she'll fit.
I still need a nice bum cover (not a cloth nappy) to cover her disposables when she is christened ... Can u post a pic of Anais'?
Shezi - no I wasn't expecting that answer. Thanks for sharing hun xo They are some beautiful photos of the girls too! How is Chris behaving today?
With tummy time i did the raised pillow or whatever yesterday & it worked wonders. I also usd this idea for the bath & flipped E onto her stomach. She lies on a folded towel in the bath & I got another one & folded it up more & put in front of her so top half was on that and she was looking at her bath toy with the mirror on it. It was gr8 cos i didn't have to break my back to hold her.
Brisbane girls - How much do ya luv this weather?! I can't believe how cool it is & the constant rain!!! It's fantastic! I want to go for a walk in the rain lol but don't have a weather cover for the pram... MUST buy I think. We've been caught out twice already ...
Who else? ...
Emma - that sucks - i thought SoO was on tonight also! LOL.
Gin - I got a lecture from the CHN for putting E on her tummy to sleep during the day. Not going back LOL. Just don't tell her maybe? I am dreading next set of needles ... I love your avy too - Kes looks so grown up!
Jenny - Congratulations on the unit!! Hope conveyance goes through without a hitch.
Made meatballs for lunch today. Never liked mince before but Haylie made these ones for Mason (baby meatballs from BH lol) and they are so yummy. Ok E's crying. Must go.
Have a good day everyone!

Congrats shezi on A's big sleep! Are you gonna make the dummy fairy thing like a tooth fairy - leave her dummy out & she'll get $1?? Good idea i reckon!
We had a lovely morning here. After E's bottle dh was up so she came to bed with me around 5am & I don't know if or when she slept ( I did!) but if she winged i put dummy in & we stayed in bed til about 9.30! It was so nice, dark & rainy, ella was happy as she always is in our bed staring out the window & smiling & talking to the ceiling fan. She usually watches the sun rise out the window before sleeping again LOL.
dh's SIL sent me a text last night saying her Astra is in the trading post for $12500 but if i want it i can have it a bit cheaper cos rego due in july. I said we can't cos of dh's debt & got upset at him last night saying it's his fault i have to suffer with our **** car. Anyway i don't think it's worth $12k cos my sis's new getz was $12000 near new & he Astra is a 2000 model and been in a couple of small accidents.
Ok gotta go again!

Hey Carrie I sold my 2001 Astra 5 door Hatchback for 8,250 (although I did want 10,000 for it) It had 112000km on it. On a trade in it was $7000 so I got a bit more going private. The guy that bought it got a good bargin though!! It had been in one small accident too. Just thought you could compare.

Caithi~ OMYGoodness that dress is devine, 200yrs OMY how did you get it to stay white? the one iris is going to wear is only 30 yrs old and the lace is slightly yellowed so looks cream instead of white
I dont want to bleach it as i'd prob. wreck it!
Did nai nai wear stockings? as I cant find any in iris's size.....where did you get yours?
Cant wait for the prof. pics:thumbsup:
hi ladies:wave:
Caithi - sorry, i was confused re the feeding, i thought you meant one side at a time...
Gin - i love your new avatar, so cute!
well, i think feeding H in the dark laying down is really good, he just falls asleep and i stick him back in bed. last night he slept from 7.40-1ish then til 5. he went straight back to bed and did wake up for a nappy change (thanks Daddy!) and then slept til about 7.30 i think. feel quite refreshed today.
we are both now stay at home parents  but Al is going for a medical this arvo for this job he might take, he doesnt want to start til july tho - SLACK! he just made my lunch, so see ya!

decided to go with christening i think. spoke to mum & think we'll wait a couple of months now cos g'ma & g'pa wouldn't go anyway. prob not leaving hsotpy again now. g'pa keeps having turns but mri scan for dimentia is clear. weird. g'ma doesn't really have his support & she's just learned she isn't far behind & prob worrying she'll be like him soon as well as trying to keep him from doing weid things.
gonna go c them tomorrow even tho dad keeps saying not to worry cos too much effort with a baby. it's more of an effort shopping or something & if i don't i'll regret it as think g'pa only has a couple of weeks left :(
PRAMS - Shezi & Sarah can u send me some sites with tandem prams etc? I know it's early days but like to be organised lol. U got me addicted!
been thinking lately ...
that i might not go back to work next may! the plan was to go back and get pregnant straight away and just work 6 months so i can get my paid leave again. BUT now i'm thinking i would like to get pregnant in jan/feb so its not as hot when i am huge. there would be about a 20 month gap which i think is ok. doubt i will get pregnant straight away again if still b/f (which i hope to be until H is one or older). i have to check but i think i can apply for another 2 years unpaid leave and still have a job (coz i do like my job and want to go back eventually...)
DH says the paid leave would be good but he doesnt really mind :)
i'm bored... H asleep and Al gone for his medical. cruddy weather today, might watch one of the many docos i've recorded on the hard drive thingy...

forgot to mention we are off on a road trip lol for the long wkend, leaving early thurs morning
We will be visiting dh's family in the country cant wait.....not BUT I guess we havent been back in a yr so we must show off lil miss Iris!
Check in with you all on monday....please dont chat too much whilst im gone lol:ecomcity:
Sarah - we're going away for the weekend too! (well, kinda, from sat morning to sun arvo). i am dreading how much we'll have to pack for one night lol. we're going to Rotto (Rottnest Island), the guys are going to catch us some crays and i am going to laze around and take Harper for walks :)
i wouldnt worry girls. its so quite on the thread over the weekends..
i am SO cold! hate this weather. need a heater. freezing!!
Are you gonna make the dummy fairy thing like a tooth fairy - leave her dummy out & she'll get $1?? Good idea i reckon!
if only hehe. M has agreed to part with her dummy IF the dummy fairy leaves her new shoes, a fairy drink bottle & pays for her to see shrek 3. i think i have a spoilt child. i did explain that thats not how the fairy works. money is nothing to her. chris parents usually bombard her with coins when we go over.
havent quite worked out what the fairy will leave as yet.
PRAMS - Shezi & Sarah can u send me some sites with tandem prams etc? I know it's early days but like to be organised lol. U got me addicted!
sarah just sent through some goodies! what sort of gap do you want between bubs?
:hugs: re your grandparents. mine both got out of hospy a couple of weeks ago. my nan has the start of dementia and my pop isnt well. its so sad:( they're both being assessed to see if they need to go into a nursing home. thing is that would kill them. they dont want to move. they were SO confused after being in hospy that nan kept asking to go home. they have 7kids, my aunty passed away when i was 8 or 9 from cancer sadly.. so 6kids remaining yet its all upto one of my aunties and my mum. mum has taken weeks off work to be there for them 24/7. she's obviously doing it out of love but it is taking its toll. they live 50mins away so there and back every day is a bugger alone.
its not their fault tho. i just think the rest of their kids should step up and help out!
geez we always fire eachother up on topics dont we! oh also. chris is chris. dont expect dont get burnt. yep im still peeved lol.
Well home from the docs, And Cooper now weights 8.3kg :o . I made a mistake the other week when I measured him and said he was 66cm long well he's only 62cm lol. He had his needles and all went well just a little cry.
After we walked out of the surgery I slipped on the walkway and now have a bruise on my knee. I really though I broke my leg cos I heard a big crack.
Earlier Cooper was sitting on Dh's lap and he got himself up. So I was able to take a video of it.
http://s32.photobucket.com/albums/d31/soul6/?action=view¤t=P1020480.flv
He actually did it better without the camera...always the way
Bk later to read past posts.
Thanks LL, he i looking like a toddler these days, :crying:
LOVE your avi, Harper the boob-bandit  He's a lucky boy having both parents at home for a bit, I'll bet Al is enjoying the break.
Carrie-that morning sounds lovely and relaxing, nothing better than a lie in with a little munchkin to gaze at!
Shezi-your Mum sounds so great, always there for her family, no wonder you're such a great Mum
Sarah- maybe a swish around in a tub of warm water and old fashioned Velvet soap? It's frustrating with old stuff!
Kes performed wonderfully for the nurse; gazed around her office contentedly while we talked, and wiggled happily when she touched his tummy!
She didn't even ask about the shots :o
Apparently he is very strong, and after telling me (nicely) that he doesn't get enough tummy time from what I said, she put him on his tummy and he nearly rolled over! Needless to say, she was a bit shocked! She had a laugh and said he is much stronger than she expected. Here are his stats:
Weight: 5.94kg
Length: 60.6cm
Head: 42.3cm
So that's all in the high range, 'cept his big head, LOL, which is on the very high end!
The marks on his thighs aren't ezcema either which is great, she thinks a bit more olive oil should clear them up.
A very good visit! Oh, and our free book, I didn't realise they got books, very sweet idea!
Well home from the docs, And Cooper now weights 8.3kg :o
too cute! and dont worry about it! once they start moving about it all evens out. chubba bubbas are gorgeous :D
my computer is running so slow. we've reached our limit this month(starts again on the 11th) so i cant see the vid. will remember to watch it in a few days.
M had a 3hour sleep!! D only slept for an hour and has been a horror. i was feeding bub & trying to get her to sleep so D's been dragging chairs around the house trying to open doors.. getting into the cutlery draw.. and now she's next to me taking off her nappy. bath time i think!!
bye!
Emma-missed your post, that video is great, can't believe how strong he is! Gave me a surprise when he suddenly sits straight up :p
Just realised they are nearly the same length, I think I have a long boy!
Shezi- I hope D is calmly bathing right now, sounds like she's testing your nerves something shocking!
X
emma! i got half the video. how gorgeous is cooper!! what a clever little chicken. is he rolling too? i dont think he'd be far off. strong neck & back muscles
what size clothes is everyones bubbas wearing?? A is still very much in 000's but is starting to fit some 00's, they're baggy but they dont look massive..
aww thanx BG. :hugs: my mums lovely. i just wish she'd take more time out for herself!
how cute about Kes almost rolling over! all the feb/march mini men are strong little chickens!!
BG big head = big brain
Shezi-yep, it's hard getting Mum's to look after themselves!
Kes is in 000 mostly, but like A he has some 00 that aren't too big.
Yep, big brain, or just full of himself :p ;)
what size clothes is everyones bubbas wearing?? A is still very much in 000's but is starting to fit some 00's, they're baggy but they dont look massive..
Harpers in mainly 000 but some 00 pants and his PJs are 00 for his big night nappies :D
well, i just spoke to the lawyer about tomorrow and she said i can come in at 11.45 instead of 9.30 and i won't have to be there long so H can stay home with Al after all! she said it might not even go to trial:fingerscrossed: she'll ring me first thing tomorrow

Can anyone here give me so advice regarding flat spots... Antonio is starting to get one on the back right of his head so i have turned him other way around but instead of leaning left he leans his head to the right again :banghead:.. ie: has been sleeping head to board, now feet to board (supposidly this stops it) but he wont lay his head on opp side, i tried a rolled up cloth nappy but he just moves it.
Any advice? I dont want him to get a funny shaped head.
Oh and i do gently move it when he is asleep but when i check again he has gone back to the same spot! Bloody monkey
Caithi - Anais looks so adorable! Ella was on my lap smiling at her pictures lol. Where did you get the dress from?
Can u post a pic of Anais'?
Love it!!
It came here from england (the dress) and has been looked after by old aunts, grandparents etc - I think it will be handed down to me though because my bro doesnt seem to keep things looking good for too long and none of my cousins had their babies christened it in so :fingerscrossed:
I got her party dress ( after christening ) from myers - that was really sweet! Maybe thats a good start - from memory it was $60-70 but that was cheap compared to those wedding stores.. $180+ urghhhhhhh as if lol
Photo of bum cover on its way - have to wait until professional photos come through but will snap her little bum in it toorrow:thumbsup:
Congrats shezi on A's big sleep! Are you gonna make the dummy fairy thing like a tooth fairy - leave her dummy out & she'll get $1?? Good idea i reckon!

Blue paper - for some reason it stops it from going yellow ( but it is slightly off white nnow but pretty good for sooooooo old ) its made of voil?? (sp?) so some of it has just desintigrated but its sooooooo pretty....( you can apparently get the blue paper from dry cleaners - they use it to wrap weddings dreses.
She didnt wear stockings BUT i bought the sweetest pack of stockings for like $20 from Taret and they are just beautiful.
The shoes that I bought were very sweet - if you want to borrow let me know.

Can anyone here give me so advice regarding flat spots...
A pillow? Nai nai sleep on a pillow ( from her shoulder blades up ) - she has been fine with that, just assuming because its a softer surface?
BUT there is this thing that you can get that straps around the entire matress width ways, and has this strap thing in the middle and yu velcro them in the cot and they cant move - sorry not sure what its called:detective:
AquaDevil78
06-06-2007, 22:36
Yeah his mattress is quite firm, i have small flatish pillow i could use, i have just been to paranoid to use it coz of sids, but i might just have to try it, as it is softer than his mattress. Its a pillow (1 of 2) that came with a doona set, like a cushion but flatter.
You think this would be ok, i mean he lays on it when in my bed and doesn't move enough when asleep to do anything.
You think this would be ok, i mean he lays on it when in my bed and doesn't move enough when asleep to do anything.
I think it would but maybe ask dr first - Its just that I let nai sleep on one (adult sized one ) every night since she had that fart/gas problem ( some amazing March mummy who I will be eternaly grateful to) suggested that I raise the cot, but now that she sleeps with us I just use a pillow - it works for us:thumbsup: :hugs:
Harper always used to sleep facing right so i just kept putting him down to the left and putting toys on his left. also the paed showed me how to stretch his neck muscles - put your hand on his shoulder and side of face and gently stretch this neck. now he sleeps facing the other way quite often and his head is nice and round :)
i would be too nervous if H had a pillow as he's not in my room.

Oooo thanks LL will try that too, and thanks caithi .:hugs: I knew i could count on you lovely march mums ;).
How often did you stretch for LL? Couple of times a day? Once a day?
ETA: His room is right next to ours, (our room, ensuite, his room), we sleep with all the doors open to his room so i hear everything! and also up and down to check on him. Coz im still paranoid about everything LOL.

i try to do it a couple of times a day but sometimes forget, just hold it maybe 20 seconds if he doesnt get sh!tty. H doesnt mind when he's in a good mod.

You should get an angel care monitor - they are really good for putting your mind at ease!! If not for that I would never let her nap during the day - even if its only for 30 mins lol:thumbsup:

Yes I'm okay thanks Caithi. Even walked away without any pain so that meant I couldn't get any sympathy from DH lol. I'm just so thankful I wasn't carring Cooper.
Um with videos...I uploaded mine in photobucket. Where you go to upload your photos theres a little thing you can click on for videos. Then just browse fro the vid on you computer.

Thanks babe.
Wow Caithi she looks like a little girl in that first one not a baby. She's so gorgeous.
well, i just spoke to the lawyer about tomorrow and she said i can come in at 11.45 instead of 9.30 and i won't have to be there long so H can stay home with Al after all! she said it might not even go to trial:fingerscrossed: she'll ring me first thing tomorrow
glad that all worked out! i hope it goes quickly.
ended up putting the girls back in swimming but they're in a lesson together and only with them 2 so it should be good. they love the instructor. she's quitting anyway with all the drama happening at the pool lately so its 4weeks left till we have to find somewhere else..
caithi the pic of anais is very nice! i had one taken of M and D when they were both 4months old like that.. M had a headband on and a necklace with 'mummys angel' and only those 2things are in colour and D had a flower headband in colour. im going to get A done at the same age.. a friend of mine had a pic of her daughter done holding a rose and only the flower was in colour.. havent seen it but i reckon it would look amazing!
hehe was talking to my brother about the girls party.. he wants to do the face painting(he's amazing with drawing & painting.. clearly stealing all the talent in my family lol).. he's even going to learn how to 'twist' balloons! he's a gem. still have him down for making their cakes too. he's such a good uncle.
caithi Anais is so beautiful!! look at those curls.. too cute!

i can drive down too. how about next monday? i have my exercise class in the morning but could be there by midday (we could each bring something for lunch?) or in the arvo.
Yeah i can get there around then too. I have just re-joined the gym and monday is one of my gym days, but i can get there around 11.30 or so!
missed this.. what time in the arvo would work for you & lana? umm what about this thursday? or is it too short notice?
Lol im guessing we arent tomorrow cos of LL's court case yeah? ( good luck btw Michaela!)
i dont really talk about this.. think the only person on here that knows is lana. but M isnt biologically chris's.
Yep we spoke about it a while back. :hugs:
So sorry i havent really replied to much! i just caught up on 7 pages! I only really skimmed but made sure i looked at all the pics which are gorgeous!!
Emma - Wow!! Look at Cooper go!! He will be sitting pretty early i think! Amity was like that and ended up sitting on her own at 6 months!
Caithi - i love Nai's dress! it is beautiful! She looks very Angelic! ( did u end up posting the pic of the bum cover?? i might have missed it...
Griff has been a bit restless in the evenings the past couple of nights and was a bit spewy last night... I am heading to babyroad tomorrow to get some of the Pigeon teats as apparently they are very close to the nipple/breast and im hoping it will coax him into the bottle. (i have to start some new medication and while they have said it is safe i would prefer not to b/f on it so now im more determined to get him off the boob (sad though, cos i actually really love it!)).

Morning chickies
Just a quickie as have to give e a bottle, change her & leave hopefully by 9am (hopefully!). Gonna go to hospital to see g'parents then may jump on train (train station next to hospy so leave my car there) and go 2 stations into city to visit work & suss out new office. Have to stop at shops first to get weather cover for the pram or e will be soaked LOL.
Emma - wish i could watch the video of Cooper! You will have to show me next time we see you :)
Sitting - E is constantly trying to sit up on her own - in the bouncer, when on the floor, in bed, in the pram ... like little crunches LOL. She's strong too for not much tummy time on floor!
Sitting up in pram - E REALLY wants to sit up in her pram but the straps are way too loose even on the tightest so I don't know what to do. Do you think that if I had a fleece blanket in it plus bought one of those head supports u can buy for newborns to put in carseat or whatever that she'd be able to sit up with loose straps as that should stop her slipping?
AD - E has flat head too :( I feel terrible about it but same as you I turn her head or lay her opposite ways in cot etc but she always just turns back.
Shezi - Your mum sounds so lovely! She reminds me of my mum from what you have said. G'ma & G'pa live 50 mins away frmo them & while having chemo &appointments mum was always driving up there, then to the city to the hospital, back again ... takes it's toll hey but you just have to do it. My aunty comes all the way from Broadwater NSW atm (they were in Chinchilla before as my uncle works diff mines etc) so like 5-6 hour drive & comes every fortnight. Of course she is staying up here atm.
Ok best be off & change & feed E so I can get ready ...
OMG guess what? Windscreen wipers came off car this morning!!! aaghh! DH managed to fix 1. at least it's on driver's side LOL. I know this sounds HORRIBLE but if i get an inheritance & if enough I am going to buy a car with it ... Don't mean to sound selfish or horrible or anything btw ... but its gunna happen iykwim?

Mega quick post.
AD, Toadlet has a flat head too, he always sucks his right hand and leans to the right.
I tried everything too, a book under the mattress at one side, one of those air flow wedges to keep him on his side, swapping him over etc,
I roll a pillow up on one side with a flannel in it and it helps a bit.
I am waiting on one of these (http://www.urbanbaby.com.au/epages/ecomm5000.sf/?ObjectPath=/Shops/UrbanBaby/Products/LOVN) that Sarah suggested.
Morning Everyone
Well Cooper didn't wake up till 9:50am. He didn't even wake up for his early morning fed. Probably just his needles that made him sleep. Although it would be good if he did it all the time hehe.
Shezi - I think the kids will love the face painting.
LT - I might get one of those pillow thingys when they are in stock
Hope everyone has a good day :D

Could you maybe just sit Ella up a little bit?? So she would still be slightly reclined but not completely!?

You know what, the pillow/cushion i used last night has a dip in the middle like that one and Antonio slept with his head straight last night, all night with no probs! :yelclap: I'm also (after doing some research) as to how to get him more comfy during tummy time, (rolled up towel under chest and shoulders) going to start doing this a few times a day now.. i guess i have been a bit lazy with it as he hates tummy time, i tried a mirror yesterday as well which also seemed to help so will hopefully be able to get him off his head more now. Oh and also LL suggested stretching his neck muscles so am doing that aswell now too.
Carrie you should try the neck stretches too as some babies have a shorter neck muscle on one side which is why the lean to one side more often. The side they lean more towards is the shorter one. LL suggested a page or so back that you hold there shoulder with one hand and then with your other hand along side of face, gently pull there head to the left or right for 20secs, i did this and Antonio was fine with it. Didn't complain.
hey girls.
doing the 1 handed thing otherwise ill never get on the pc so i will make it quick.
flat heads: leah wont sleep on her back.... always on her side so not really an issue 4 me at the mo. have you tried an osteopath? or side lying with the support rolls? or putting him down the other end of the cot so he has to turn head the other way. thats what`was suggested 4 sam and it worked and his neck muscles were screwed to the point where he couldnt breastfeed.
ll, great news re the court case.
sarah, sounds like a great trip (other than the car trip - leah cries from the second shes put in the car until she exhausts herself on most trips). have fun.
sizes: leahs in 000.
caithi, gorgous pics.
gin, thanks 4 the screen shots.
nothing going on here. enjoying the rain and cold and my open fire. dhs birthday tomorrow. have a nice day planned. sam is in daycare and a friend is looking after leah so we can have an adults lunch. cant wait!!
enjoy your days girls. would love to chat more but that took 20 mins. 1 hand is soooo slow.

Will try the side thing too Annsam.. i think i'll just do different styles each week or something, pillow one week, sides another and lots more tummy time :D
heyas. had a full on morning.. took the girls swimming.. M was so happy coz she got to stay in the pools for an hour with lessons. then came home for a bit & went to check out the kindy i might be sending M to next year. we're not in their 'area' and they only have 40places(they said its a lot but doesnt seem like much to me) so i think i'll have to put enrollments in for 2 schools. coz i wont even know if M gets a place till term 4 which is october.. frustrating!!
have a great day tomorrow anna and happy birthday to your man!
loving the links girls.. those shoes are very cute!
LT did you see the pics of A in the wraps you sent? very cute. i will post again if you missed it. dont want you searching through pages haha. thanx again for them!
carrie i wouldnt blame you for buying a car! its something you need. doesnt sound horrible or selfish!! have you thought of a sheepskin blanket in the pram? i have one under A and its so thick and the straps have tightened heaps. i just cut holes for the straps in it tho some can be bought with the slits already in them. pram liners are just as good but prob not as thick. you should take the pram to a baby store and try some out  even if you dont buy one atleast you'll know the thickness you'd need for ella to be comfy.
how many levels/angles does the seat your pram have??
well girls guess what my child just did.. chewed up a fruit bar and stuck pieces to my wall. disgusting.. i cleaned it up then after walking back into the room she was spitting out water on the floor! why why why?! she's only 19months..

Hey ppls
Sarah thanks for the pm's with the sites. Luv'n them... no it's not wrong to cheer re Dubbo haha.
E uses SnS roll pillows Shezi sent over to lay on her side but stopped doing it o/n cos her nappy kept leaking lol.
Caithi - luv the pics of Anais' bum cover
Shezi/Lana - ended up going to bub shop & got an air flow head support thingy but not the normal ones, one with like a longer mat attached to it i guess u could call it (so i figure non-slip when she sits) plus holes for straps to go through in a car seat or pram. She got to sit up yesterday & didn't winge int he pram once! HIP HIP HOORAY!!!
When the straps go through this thing it actually made the shoulders the right height - the lady was suprised they are only at one height.
Shezi the pram has 3 levels - flat (but is slightly risen due to nappy bag lol), sitting up but slightly reclined (ella's new posy) and sitting upright.
Um went to hospy & ella was an angel for me (prob cos i gave her a bottle in waiting room before we went up!) then she went to sleep on couch in g'ma's suite. G'ma was happy to see us. G'pa has been moved to a new suite & sedated as of thurs night & he won't wake up now, unconscious (but still snoring!) and it's only a matter of time :( I went in with mum & ella before I went to train station & i cried cos i knew it'd be the last time i saw him ... well i assume cos i have a feeling he's going today ... apparently he can hear u but not respond so just gave him a kiss on the head & a pat & said 'i love you' and walked out ...
Left car at hospy & got on train for like 2-3 stops to city & visited a guy i used to work for & we're gr8 mates then went up to work to suss out new office. Thinking e would lose it there as due for a bottle but now she was fab for like half an hour before a bottle & change (lucky me she did a pooh then & had to change her on boardroom table!!! LOL).
My attention-seeking-little-princess-ella-bella was amazing yesterday & even in the lifts etc professional old powerful men were going goo goo ga ga over her! It was pretty funny :)
Catching train from home today to go to South Bank & meet up with a girl who was my bestie in primary school & she has 2 girls, Ellie & Chloe. Can't wait.
DH is very sick ... poor thing. But went to work anyways despite my arguments lol. So waiting for me & E to catch it now ...
ANNA - Happy b'day to your dh - hope you enjoy your "adult lunch" !
Ok better be off & get ready while e is being good.
Oh SHEZI - D is a cheeky monkey! Terrible 1's hey, not terrible two's!
PS Sunrise said for a first home owner to buy their first home at average price they need to be earning $97,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How f**ked up is that?!

Caithi~Hollie, that bum cover is so gorgeous!

Emma~ Cooper looks liek his in a flying saucer LOL lil alien hahahaha
Took Iris to work yesterday and no one could believe her hair lol thats always the first response from people "Look at the hair on her!"
Work asked me when im going back as they still havent found a teacher after the replacement left last month........um never was my response in my head hahaha I would love to just clone 10 more babies just like Iris:yes: :D
ok better go:wave:
Morning all!
Sarah-great news about the trip, any other plans for the long weekend then? (I imagine getting out of your Mum's hair is a priority! LOL)
Caithi-what a sweet little model! Gorgeous nappy LT, great job.
Emma-Cooper looks like he'll be having a ball in the thingamy, Anais too... they sure wont get bored!
Carrie-Agreed, it's nuts what it takes to own a house these days, I think average Joes need to get lucky and get the few (fewer each day!) bargains or continue to rent. Not that renting is so bad, my folks have rented for years and years, it has worked really well as they were able to get a placeo accomodate us all when we needed it, but can now get something smaller if they want.
Sorry to hear about your Grandpa, lovely that he can hear you though. Your Grandma must just love have Ella come visit, hospitals can be so boring!
Lana- it arrived!!! :smiliedance: I am now the proud owner of a red zoo pillow (which Kes loves, I think it is the bright colours, he watches it when he's not on it). It's very comfy, and my wrists enjoy the break. Thanks again matey :hugs:
DH's birthday yesterday (which is why I wasn't posting, did manage to read a bit), Kes made him a card with a hand and a foot print on it, DH was close to tears when he saw it, very sweet! Funny trying to keep the paint solely on him and the paper... ha ha, took quite an effort!
Poor DH though, I was all 'practical' and made him a fruit cake instead of a frivolous dessert cake, as now he can take bits to work and I can freeze the remainder :D
The shoes I bought him don't fit, LOL, they didn't have his size and I wanted him to have them on the day, so we'll have to swap them, pretty awesome shoes though!
I took Kes to pick DH up from his new job, they've been dying to meet him, they went nuts! :p very fun, they're all clucky now!
Sorry to miss posts, Kes wants a lap XXX
Carrie, i am so sorry to hear about your grandpa :hugs: :hugs: its really good that you've been able to visit so much with Ella.
Caithi, love the nappy. i've bought a little silver star like the heart and i am going to make a chocolate brown nappy with a bum star. gotta keep practicing (when i have time!) on scrap material for a while tho, don't want to stuff up.
well, had my court appearance, it was ok. i'm sure the rat-faced dero will be in jail lol. i was gone for 4 hours, Al said that was plenty! i think he has a new appreciation of being a stay-at-home parent!! said what a good job i do. i don't think H was too bad, but didnt really want his bottle and just missed me. and i missed him! (and came home with huge boobs  )
Harper is sleeping in the big cot now!! two nights with no problems. he'll be sleeping in a portacot in Rotto tomorrow night so i wanted him to be out of the bassinette. i had the bassinette IN the cot for the last two weeks to get him used to it and he has now 'transferred' with no probs. he looks so little in there, very sweet...
ok well i better go, got a waxing appointment and then we're taking Al's sis out for a belated bday lunch which should be nice.
have a great day, lovely march mummies :D

Just got back from the 3 mth MCHC Appt.. it was the stupid hippy woman instead of the reguar person i see :banghead:. Anyhoo of course he was weighed and he weighs 7.8kg so she just had to say oh are your family all podgy?? I said no actually we are all healthy like me no obese ppl etc. Her response, oh well i dunno why he is so big then! Just on the 97th percentile. So i guess i will not give him as much formula? Although what i have been giving is making him satisfied and not over full.
I asked her about tummy time and his head so she has told me to see the Paed Pyhsio here, so will do that as he clearly has a preference to leaning his head right. So that was fine. She seems to think they are related tummy time/flat spot as when on tummy cant lift his head properly which makes sense. I just hate her attitude!
He is 61.2 cm according to her but i measured 64, and his head is ok too.
So according to her he is a fatty! :gloomy: I dont think he is fat, he hasnt got **** loads of rolls.
Anyhoo gotta go to shops before Dp needs car so will be back later to check posts.

Im putting Antonio on his tummy to sleep during the day now, while im able to check on him frequently until i can get to the Pysio to see what he/she recommends, and persevere with tummy tum even tho he hates it. Im hoping sleeping on tummy during the day will also help him get used to it. MCHN said they are so used to being on there backs that it's understandable to hate tummy time as it feels weird.
Sticking with pillow at night too.
Funny in Sweden they recommend newborn size pillows to prevent flat heads. Until bubs can roll/move around. Then you don't use it. The pillows they use are small and flat similar to what LT linked. So they are not a sids risk. Maybe we are a bit OTT with some of the SIDS stuff.
I think im partly to blame too tho, as when he was in his bassinet i didnt move his head to the left when he slept so of course he got used to leaning right. Ah well , im still learning so im not going to punish myself over it.
ETA: Carrie i agree 97k to buy a house is insane! Chances of us getting our own house in the future seems to be getting more and more difficult. I doubt we will ever own a house at this rate. Quite depressing when i think about it.
well today has been interesting.. i havent done much at all coz A wants to be permanently attached to my boob. shes slept maybe an hour all up today.. not in one block either.. 10mins here and there.. as soon as shes in her cot shes awake yelling. not even happy to be on a rug/playmat/rocker while awake..
i dont get it but it has to be something i've done coz all 3 were the same. you'd think by #3 i'd know what the flip im doing wrong!!
sarah.. pop a muffin(or 3) in an express post bag & send them my way :D  i hope you enjoyed them! yum!! i hope it all blows over for you & hub soon. horrible fighting with the person you live with! theres no escape!!
i dont feel that great about myself.. so frustrated coz i still have a few kgs to lose and it just aint happening.. i rarely get out the house & ive been eating the wrong stuff..
$97,000?! not impressed!
happy birthday to your dh BG.. Kes made a great gift! how cute!
anna i hope your kid-free lunch went well today!! happy birthday to your hub too!!

my sisters twins both had flat parts too.. she was even on the verge of putting those helmets on them. as they got older it fixed itself.. not a nice thing to have to go through though :hugs:
sarah im freezing.. meet you at annas?? :D
Hey Ladies,
Thought I better post....been very busy still.
Madi is very sick again and I am going insane with guilt and lots of stress! This time Madi seems to have had an allergic reaction to her formula, she is now on Soy Formula until her blood tests come back to see if she is allergic to the milk protein. Yep, Madi had more blood test, it's so horrible to watch, she screamed the hospital down today so bad, I felt so bad for her. Madi has ezcema (sp?) she was starting to get covered in it and they think it's from the formula. She also has very bad screaming fits where she screams so much that she starts choking and can't breathe and starts turning purple, so so scary! That's why I can't leave the house 'cause she gets so distressed all the time and is in heaps of pain 'cause she can't digest the formula, hence the amount of wind she has and also screams when pooing. I feel so bad, if only I could have breastfeed her then none of this would happen. It's really hard watching her so sick all the time, I would do anything to take away her pain but instead I am totally useless! So unfair! She is weighing in at 5.8kgs, is that ok for her - she is 12weeks old, or is that not enough?
Sorry for the me post, feeling very upset 'cause she never gets better.....
I hope everyone is doing well and their bubs are doing very well!
Caithi, I love Nai's bum covers that LT made they are adorable, she looks so cute in them
Lana, great news about Grif taking the bottle and a great amount for him to drink too, well done buddy.
Emma, Cooper looks adorable in his walker, so so cute!
Carrie, sorry to hear about your Grandparents, hope everything goes well, thinking of you and your family
Shezi, you are an amazing mum, don't worry about your weight you are still a yummy mummy and much much skinner then me!
LL and NM have fun on your holiday's if you are still going
uuummm, who else? Can't remember sorry, will post again soon!
:hugs: to all! Thanks for listening to me.....
G'pa has been moved to a new suite & sedated as of thurs night & he won't wake up now, unconscious (but still snoring!) and it's only a matter of time
PS Sunrise said for a first home owner to buy their first home at average price they need to be earning $97,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How f**ked up is that?!
:hugs: re gpa babe. Im really sorry to hear that.
OMG re $97,000 - is that right? Surely thats not the minimum is it?
Kes made him a card with a hand and a foot print on it,
What kind of ink / paint did you use?? That sounds great!
Caithi, love the nappy. i've bought a little silver star like the heart and i am going to make a chocolate brown nappy with a bum star. gotta keep practicing (when i have time!) on scrap material for a while tho, don't want to stuff up.
Can you buy patterns for cloth nappies or is it a skill that is aquired?
Just got back from the 3 mth MCHC Appt.. it was the stupid hippy woman instead of the reguar person i see .
There is a three month check???? How do you guys know this?? I had no idea:thumbsdown:
PS - THAT WOMAN SOUNDS LIKE A COMPLETE IDOT!! Obviously no children of her own. Idiot!
Its tornado type weather here, perfect for curling up infront of the fire and reading a book.....hey Anna mind if I come round to your place and plonk myself infront of your roaring fireplace???
Just made some devine double choc chip and almond muffins they are HUGE and sooooo chocolatey there goes my diet!
DH had a huge fight and are not speaking atm I think we will need major counselling after this blowout!

Lana- it arrived!!! :smiliedance: I am now the proud owner of a red zoo pillow (which Kes loves, I think it is the bright colours, he watches it when he's not on it). It's very comfy, and my wrists enjoy the break. Thanks again matey :hugs:
Gin - Oh yay!! Im so glad you (and Kes) like it! Hopefully it will give you a bit of a break!
Caithi - re the ink for foot and hand prints, you can use a normal ink pad just make sure have a baby wipe ready to take it off... Im pretty sure you can get ones that take a bit longer to dry so it is easier. Or you can use any non-toxic paint, oh and generally the water-based ones are the best i think.
Sheree - Hugs to you babe! You arent doing anything wrong! They just all love their mumma!
AD - I wouldnt listen to the MCN! You should have seen how chubby Amity was as a baby!
Nic - :hugs: for you and Madi! It must be really hard having to see your litle princess so ill. Hopefully they will find out the cause of the eczma and she will start feeling better!
Anna, Sarah, Caithi and Sheree - Im in too!! Ill bring some chick flicks!! Imaging that fire and wine now!
Ive had an ok day today. Went to work and then went shopping for a bit. After trying on what felt like half the shop i only bought one pair of pants and one top as none of the other bloody pants fitted me. I must have a very awkward shape (either that or its because im not a stick like all the girls nowadays!)
i dont get it but it has to be something i've done coz all 3 were the same. you'd think by #3 i'd know what the flip im doing wrong!!
Nah I agree with AD, you must just have great boobs or something mate! :p
In actual fact it must be the the day for it, Antonio has been a grizzly bum today too, i just woke from a nap coz im buggered. I only have him! Hats off to you with 3.
Agreed, I'm knackered today as Kes has been very clingy, (he has now been asleep for 25 minutes, which is the longest for today when not in his pram ) don't know how I'll cope with more kids!
As for that nurse, she sounds like a real charmer...NOT! Kes is a similar weight, a teensy bit younger, but he has a jumbo sized head and the biggest thighs ever, so it doesn't sound like your little prince it that heavy at all!
Caithi- I used poster paint, I've put it in my avi (a bit small but you get the idea!)
I get a bit 'over' the mortgage thing too, I try to think of it as forced saving, LOL, which is the only type of saving we know how to do around here!
Sarah-I am now craving chocolate muffins... I have cocoa, but what's a choc muffin without choc chips eh? LOL
M2B :hugs: your poor thing, I just can't imagine what you must be going through seeing Madi in pain, try not to blame yourself with the feeding, there are so many wonderful things a Mother can do for her child that I'm sure you are doing; like being there with her, and loving her, and just being her Mum. She looks so happy in your avi, you must be doing something right!
Had a feeling today was going to be a bit boring so I jumped on a train and visited my parents, it turned out very well, and we had a great afternoon all talking to Kes and tickling his tummy when his nappy was off which makes him go crazy kicking and smiling. G'pa got his first big smiles too!
*EDIT: Lana, yep, we love our pillow! had a nice snuggle on it this evening when he was being scritchy.
As for stick-figure pants, I know what you mean... not my most flattering cuts available at the moment...

Shezi.. saw the pics of the wraps.. veyr sweet.
Caithi.. Anais makes a gorgoeus nappy model. Glad you liked it.
M2B, Monty toad is on soy and he is "thriving".... read as fat. If you need some excema cream for Maddi I have some protopic which is a non steroidal cream. It is similar to elidel but better. I have the childrens dosage too.
They cost about $125 a 30g tube but my dad sends me samples so you can have one if you need it.
Bluegin, I have a zoo pillow which I really didn't like when feeding so it's been under his cot since day 2. . I got it out yesterday and put him on it face down for some tummy time and he loves it! He watches the Bold and the Beautiful with me.
Mum to R &M.
The jolly jumper vid is cute of Matthew..
Toadlet now LOVES (http://www.bizztools.net/m/bouncybouncy.html)his and knows hpw to use it.
He's a real hoppy hoppy little toad now.
Carrie, DP and I both earn good $ , but there is no way I'd like to have a mortgage. For a 2 bedroom place we'd be paying atleast $1200 a WEEK.
For sme REALLY good loan calculators you can go here (http://www.bizztools.net).
I know a groovy little toad who made them :)
AD, Toadlet weighs the same as Antonio, and I wouldnt say he was unhealthily overweight. Give your lovely fat chubby gigantic squishy baby a hug ffrom me!
Sarah.. hoping you and DH can "connect" tonight and suggke up in the cold weather then make some more babies like Iris.
Frog says that to me when he wants some lovin' . "I feel like maybe you ad I haven't connected lately" ....spaz. Either that or "Let's r00t". Lovely handsome romantic Frog.
Who has a link to that really small portacot? I think it cost around $79. We are going to Tasmania to celebrate my 100th client. Yipeee. He told me we could have 2 toadlets if I reached 100 clients. I'm pretty sure I'm happy with a trip to tasmania instead. Lovely only child Monty Toad.
Taking toadlet to climbing on Sunday as Frog has gone diving for 4 days. I'll take the jolly jumper with me so he can hang around while I climb.
Snuggle up girls!!

M2B~ O is has a milk protein allergy and all the rest that goes along with it, its horrible but your not to blame hun so hang in there
I know its easy for me to say dont feel guilty lol as I still do coz i was bfing O and drinking heaps of milk and dairy so i was making him even more sick without realising it:eek:
When we weaned O off BM we put him straight onto elecare which is a prescription formula andit was brillant (he had a reaction to soy)
With the prescription we were able to get 8 tins of formula for about $27 (without the prescription people pay $600 for 8 tins!!!)
I hope shes ok soon and things settle for you, at least your finding otu early, we didnt learn all this until O was around 7mths old the poor lil guy suffered for 7 looooong months:crying:
Sorry girls all mega muffins devoured (not all by moi lol)

Anyone have any tips re teething things to get bubs - ie instead of using gels etc?:detective:
teething rings are pretty good. the ones that go in the fridge. also you can buy rusks.. age says from 6months but M had them from 4 coz she used to rub it on her gums.. once she had teeth i was more paranoid that she would bite chunks off but she would more so grind her teeth into it..
With the prescription we were able to get 8 tins of formula for about $27 (without the prescription people pay $600 for 8 tins!!!)
wow! i wonder why more people dont just get prescriptions.. youd think the chemist would let them know on the sly how cheap it could be.
nemosmum
09-06-2007, 08:46
To get a prescription you have to meet certain criteria, and the pead.or doc has to send away for it from Canberra from the govt. coz its so $$$ to make etc
Its only for bubs who are allergic to cows milk and soy formula nto for just any baby etc
omg omg omg!! i want one.. look at this http://www.fisher-price.com/fp.aspx?st=112001&e=detail&site=au&pid=40078&selcat=bgsw

Hey girls,
Well Im having a nice day. Sitting on the lounge room floor with L while shes sussing out how her rolly polly bunny makes noise and chatting to it. DH has taken DS out to buy me a dryer. Ours blew up about 2 years ago and Ive never really suffered but now I am with baby clothes to dry. I have a whole load of washign spread througout the house and hanging in front of the fire drying slowly. S was a summer baby so it was never an issue.
DH's birthday was nice. Rained all day and L wasn't impressed with being carted around in the rain. Dont you love sleeping bags? I kept her in it all day while we were out and she was very snuggly...... except when the rain came in the car on her face when I was trying to fasten her in. She didn't think that was so great.
Sam choose daddy's card - it had a car and a badge saying 4 today. He also drew fire and thunder in it. LOL.
Anyway, DH and I dropped L off at a friends place and then we went and had a lunch and a couple glasses of wine while we watched the rain fall. It was lovely. We went shopping in the morning with L, pretty boring but nice to go out together without rushing around.
NONE of my nice clothes fit me so I have an excuse to go shopping now. Not so happy that they dont fit me because Ive gotten fat and saggy but happy to buy new clothes none-the-less.
L's cold is getting better thankfully. Hows all the other babys and mummy's with colds?
DH wants me to do a night course in photography then we are going to buy a nice camera. Hmmm... a couple hours out of the house to focus on something not child related - twist my arm.;)
Ok, I hae 5 pages to catch up on so going to do that now.

great choice  did daddy wear the badge? hehe

Anna~ thats sounds so lovely and romantic glad to hear some one is 'connecting' with their other half hahahaha
Sheree and Anna~ I bought O this fantastic marble racer thing from kmart (they are on sale for $20)
Put it together last night it is awesome.....O played with it for about 40mins (quietly yup Im impressed)
Thought you two with older kids might be interested theres about 100 pieces so we bought a clear snap fast container to put it all in BUT i think it will last him ages as there is about a gozillion ways to put it together!
Am so bored O is out with D!ck Head and iris is asleep again!
ETA~ anyone seen a sleeping bag type thing for kindy? I want one for O I did see one in an identity direct catalogue BUT that was years ago.....if anyone knows of one let me know ta.
sarah im sure that ID still do the sleeping bags.. i saw one in the last catalogue from them and thought of M with daycare.. they look really cute and roll up and secured with a velcro band that has their name on it.. is that the same ones? i tried looking on their website but havent found them yet.
sounds good about the thingy you bought from kmart.. are they in the catalogue??
i hope your hub apologizes for what it was he did wrong.. yep im assuming it was him coz its ALWAYS the men! :hugs:
the swing i posted the link to is the newer one of the papasan in the TRU catalogue.. im trying to work out prices but im pretty sure i can actually get one off ebay in america for about $200.. same price as the older ones on sale over here! gonna make chris double check when he gets home.. he's thinking there might be another fee because of the size of the box the swing will be in.. i have no idea what he's on about
we have had such a boring morning.. i vacuumed then the girls put biscuit crumbs everywhere.. just cooked pizza & chips for lunch for them.. i dont like weekends.. so boring..
wow just saw this link posted on the recommendations thread.. carrie check it out! http://www.firstwheels.nl/en/city_twin/
i love it. im assuming its not in aus yet.. by the time it gets here i wont even need it.. damn! i would prefer it over my MB i reckon.. it looks heaps lighter & each kid has its on sun hood.

great choice  did daddy wear the badge? hehe
enjoy the course anna! thats what i want to do once kiddies are all at school. i reckon it'd be great!
LOL, no he didn't. Didn't think to make him. Should have.
Its just going to be a quickie night course to learn how to use a bloom'n camera as I have no clue most of the time. Nothing professional or anything but should be fun all the same.
Anna~ thats sounds so lovely and romantic glad to hear some one is 'connecting' with their other half hahahaha
.
LOL. there was no connecting going on.
While at BG the other day (checking out the buzz shhh dont tell H I M)
I tried out the double MBU and Its HUGE i dont know how you manage it Sheree....much prefer my P&T now lol
Oh and yes that was the sleeping bag i was after sheree
I love my mountain buggy. Its actually a bit slimmer than other side-by-sides and its only 7cm wider than the single believe it or not. Must be in the axle because it feels huge looking down from up top.
Bugger, I was looking at sleeping bag things for the daycare not long ago....... I'll try and remember who we were looking at.

LOL, yeah DH is 40 now and I still get annoyed as all hell with him from time to time.........like today when he let DS sleep half an hour later - now we'll have him performing till 10pm. He knows this the bugger. Dont think they ever grow out of it.
your DH sounds veyr much like me........ in the impulsive and easily bored and likes change department - what star sign is he? but I also like my routine and consistancy. Think thats a mummy thing. My impulsiveness costs us lots of money. DH hates it.:o
What else........ read about 2 or 3 pages earlier but have forgotten most of it as I had to shut the PC down or Sam wants to see pictures of the planets and moon for the next 17 hrs or wants to play wheels on the bus on utube. fun fun fun.
Caithi, the getting fist in the mouth thing - its actually a developmental stage. Dunno the reason but i was asked it by the ECHN the other day as a development thing.
ummmm.......... cant think.
wow just saw this link posted on the recommendations thread.. carrie check it out! http://www.firstwheels.nl/en/city_twin/
i love it. im assuming its not in aus yet.. by the time it gets here i wont even need it.. damn! i would prefer it over my MB i reckon.. it looks heaps lighter & each kid has its on sun hood.
i will sell my mb for it if its here soon :o  :D
ohhh I think this is being sold in DJ's??? I saw one very similar there the other day that caught my eye.

teething rings are pretty good. the ones that go in the fridge. also you can buy rusks.. age says from 6months but M had them from 4 coz she used to rub it on her gums.. once she had teeth i was more paranoid that she would bite chunks off but she would more so grind her teeth into it..
Caithi another good thing for teething is frozen flannels.. just wet them under the tap and chuck them in the freezer, all babies love sucking on flannels! (a nice cheap alternative too!)
ETA~ anyone seen a sleeping bag type thing for kindy? I want one for O I did see one in an identity direct catalogue BUT that was years ago.....if anyone knows of one let me know ta.
Sarah (and Anna and Sheree) - I saw these on Monkeys undies not long ago but here is the actual website for them http://www.kindykamper.com.au/
They look really good, complete with a little foam mattress!
Bought some more jeans today. Oh and some tops FINALLY!

ok ignore my last question sarah. saw it on the news.
i am so sorry.. :hugs: :hugs: what a tragedy :crying:
whoever is responsible for botching that road back together since the last time it split has a lot of explaining to do!!
i dont want to over step the mark but we're here if you want to talk about it. take care hun. :hugs: 's to your and your family.
Oh Sarah I'm so sorry :hugs:
Love the photos you posted earlier.

Anna glad you had a lovely time with your DH,
I want a new pram I don't like mine. Cooper tries to jump out of it too.
Finally bought the AirWrap thing for the basinette today, so his arms and legs won't get stuck between the bars. Haven't been able to get to BG so I saw them at Target and it was only $29 cheaper then BG.
Hope everyones having a good night.
Anna hasnt been on, cheeky miss shes probably sitting infront of that glorious fire 'connecting' with her dh on a fur rug a la playboy mansion style (faux fur of course caithi )
:laughing:Thanks lovely!
oh great!! thanx for that. now just to decide between the swing or seat.. was there a reason you didnt get the swing?
teething rings are pretty good. the ones that go in the fridge. also you can buy rusks.
Was told something about them but cant remember - something about they break quite easily or the rocking is a pain because when they are not in in they want to constant movement or something... sorry cant remember...
Have you seen those things - exactly the same as a dummy but instead of having a "teat" thing to suck on its like a "C" and you can put them in fridge??? Have you ever seen/used one of these?
omg omg omg!! i want one.. look at this http://www.fisher-price.com/fp.aspx?st=112001&e=detail&site=au&pid=40078&selcat=bgsw

How about we go out for the night and we can leave them with bubs and each other lol - they sound like brothers...

emma what pram do you have for cooper? i went onto 'monkeys undies' hehe and looked up prams.. theres this gorgeous pink limited edition valco.. i need to stop looking at prams! sorry that doesnt really help you does it.. cant imagine cooper being happy about being stuck in a pink pram. if ya ever get bored list what you want from a pram and i'll try to hunt some goodies for ya :D i love pram shopping! yep im a nut!
Was told something about them but cant remember - something about they break quite easily or the rocking is a pain because when they are not in in they want to constant movement or something... sorry cant remember...
ah ok. its so hard coz i like the idea of a swing coz its out of M & D's reach.. but then i think.. it actually puts her at their level! so they can swing her.. so that might be pointless.. maybe the seat is the way to go. i'm going to TRU on monday anyway so will check them out then. heaps tho!
Have you seen those things - exactly the same as a dummy but instead of having a "teat" thing to suck on its like a "C" and you can put them in fridge??? Have you ever seen/used one of these?
yep seen them but never bought one.. kinda looks like a mouth guard hehe M loved her dummy and used to chomp on that.. and both M & D chomped on me.. oh yes fellow b/f mums just wait till bub has teeth!! lol! both the girls made me bleed. i had 2 perfect little slits in my nipple from D. and i had the kids who would not let go.. supposedly you're meant to take the bub straight off the boob if they bite.. well they dont say how to get them off the boob! haha. not funny at the time ofcourse.. shark babies.

Perthies - Are we still meeting on monday at Sherees!? (i have an appt on tuesday and thursday now lol)
Had a great night tonight. I told Sam earlier that i wanted some help getting Amity bathed and in bed then he could go out with the boys if he wanted to. He replied saying that he would rather stay home with me tonight and have a nice cooked meal and get some dvd's out... My heart just melted! He is so good to me.
Sam keeps looking at Griff and saying how big he has gotten too lol. Oh and Amity has a new thing where when she give us kisses she grabs our face in both her hands and pulls us towards her! Very Cute

LOL thanks Sherrie. I have a Steelcraft Phoenix Layback Stroller. It was the cheapest pram DH could find at the time  . I have to admitt though I was good while Cooper was smaller as it was very easy to get in and out of the car and easy to push around, but it's not really suitable at the moment. And mummy wasn't a proper cupholder lol.
With the pink prams...I'll just tell Cooper Pinks the new Blue LOL.
Hi girls,
Super quick.
So sorry to hear about your friends Sarah. I was so upset when I saw it on the news.
Isn't the floods awful!? When the real estate called on Friday to say the water was nearly at the door of our investment property I didn't think much of it as the front stoop always floods...... wonder how its doing now.
You girls and your swings and prams! I am on baby #2 and dont have a bouncer, walker or any of those knick knacks - no room to be honest amonst all the cars and trucks and lawnmowers in the house. LOL.
Ok, need to dash. DS wants help with a car track.
P.S. sam hated the teething gel so just used teething rings. You can get some thin round ones without ridges and things on them from the super market or babies galore (cant remember which, they came in blue and red) and he loved them. Easy to hold. Prefered them over the big bulky things. Panadol was used when he was in pain but he didn't have many painful teething issues.
anna hows it going with 'hands free' time from leah? A just doesnt want to be anywhere but held by me..
lana what time tomorrow?? i had no idea it was still on lol! thats not good hey! was it in the morning or was that when everyone was busy? my girls sleep around 12/12.30ish till 2ish.. if thats no good then what other day suits? did we ever find firsttime? i wonder if i have her number..

 I dont think the meet was set in stone, we were still deciding. Im mean to be going to the gym tomorrow morning so i wouldnt be able to get there til around 12. Maybe we should do it for the following week?? Just so we have a bit more time lol. Are you girls free on Monday next week?
Anna - I hope your investment property doesnt get flooded!! Amity was the same as Sam, she didnt really get any teething pain, she would just wake up in the morning with a new tooth. We only got problems when her molars came through.
I so need to clean my house today but i cant be bothered! Ive done the last nights dishes so thats a start at least! Im in a really lazy mood today...
Morning all, Sarah, so sorry to hear about your friends, :hugs:, such a tragic accident.
Lana-Sounds like a lovely Saturday night, Sam clearly has his priorities right!
Shezi- I was just thinking, with your love of shopping (but trying to be good because you don't need a new pram...), wouldn't it be awesome if you had a boy next, then you could buy it all again in blue! ;) I'm sure Chris would enjoy the Bob the Builder stage too! LOL
Anna- that fire sounds lovely, I really should bring some wood in during the day... usually doesn't occur to me till it's all dark and cold outside LOL
Sarah- those pics are so sweet, love your little convicts!
Caithi-I'm hoping to b/f for a long time too, so not looking forward to the teeth bit! Mum said we never bit her much, so I'm hoping he takes after me! How's the pain going for you? Hope it's getting better.
I'm a lot happier with DH now, after that Friday night of wrath, LOL, on Saturday morning I passed Kes over after his feed, and he took him! Even apologised when I had to take him back for a bit while he cleaned the pots and pans! (You know that build up on the outside and base of saucepans? Once in a while he scrubs it all back to silver for me as I can't do it!)
He has had Kes on his desk all morning now, so I'm enjoying having 2 hands of my own!
A bit nervous, I'm going to go jeans shopping today or tomorrow, and anticipating getting very depressed! My tummy seems so much bigger than it used to be, that horrible saggy bit at the front is a killer!
Anna-I find the bouncer (the vibrating kind) works wonders, as it means I get the occasional break from carrying him during the day, he even has little naps in it sometimes! yay!
Enjoy your Saturdays girlies,
X

Hi Girls, :hugs: Neo and for your DH. So sorry to hear that. Don't know what else to say.
BG- I clean my pots etc with a little Ajax (cream stuff) and an anti scratch scourer. They come up a treat.
As for the muffin top, hehe, it will go down.. mine is getting there slowly. Don't forget we have been super stretched, with pregnancy and c-sect.
I'm actually surprised how quick my tummy went/is going down. Once my infection cleared up i noticed a huge improvement , this must of been what was holding it back a bit.
Tummy Time : I have been perservering and Antonio seems to be getting a little better at it, he did actually hold his head up for a few seconds a couple of times yesterday, after a little help from mummy turning his head and supporting his chin with my hand and slowly letting go in case he face planted. I also use his dummy to 'tease' him up, so he has to reach for it if that makes sense. Bit like training a puppy . So will keep persevering. I have been rolling him onto his side too, and after a while he just falls back onto his back, but im hoping it will help him roll eventually. I do lay to sit pulls too, pull him up by his arms, he thinks this is too funny. I think this will help strengthen his arms.
Gentle neck stretches that LL said she did seems to be helping too .
Anyway enough rambling.. have a good Sunday all. xox
ETA: I forgot to mention that A moved down his cot this morning, i went in there and he was on an angle and near the bottom?? How the? He sleeps flat on his back. Never moved before LOL. Guess it is time to move the toys out of it.

OMG Sarah I am SO sorry hun! Sending big hugs and love to you and your friends & family.
I have skimmed a couple of pages but gave up.
On Friday I went to Southbank to meet a friend from primary school & her 2 girls, 3 yrs & 7 mths. The girls are gorgeous. Tegan is a glamour mum & I felt like a fat frumpy pooh lol. Especially cos i had nothing to wear as i went to put on my fave choc brown knit jumper but it was too tight :( My couple of decent tops were wet on the rack cos of the rain & my fave jeans needed one of those tops so wore other jeans with a maternity top & a thin black cardi thingy OTT. I spent time straightening my hair & doing make-up but that went out the window when I got to the train station & it was blowing a gale. Funny how Tegan's was straight as still! Grr ... I sooooo NEED a GHD! We went to Amici's for lunch & had lasagne then took Ellie to play on playground while we talked. It was a nice day. Lucky I'd bought the weather cover for E on Thurs! We went to Dave's aunty's Fri night for a bit and Pat mentioned she'd spoken to MIL (sisters) & she'd said she would see E tonight (well she only did cos i had car otherwise Dave would've gone on way home). MIL hasn't seen her since 19 April so she has like doubled in size. I was thinking in my head that yeah right she was probably COMPLAINING she hasn't seen her in so long. I don't need to deal with that right now.
Saturday morning Ella was a bit snuffly getting David's cold. He stayed home with her & I went and did groceries & got my hair cut. It looks great. I wanted it done before ... ykwim ... Anyway I FINALLY found a hair dresser I love again and it's good prices there. I paid $49 for a wash, style cut, straighten. I ended up buying a GHD product - just a smoothing serum. Next time i might get the thermal protector and i really want & NEED my GHD. Only been asking for like 4 yrs! LOL. The shops were packed cos of Shrek 3 and they were having a Family Fun day with Shrek jumping castle, green fairy floss, face painting etc. Wish i had a child old enough lol. I didn't wanna go without E at first but had a good time! Still did parcel pick up so i could get my hair cut.
When i got home i decided to take E up to the hospital again but D wasn't coming cos he was sick & didn't wanna give to grandma in case she got it & it turned into pneumonia or something to make her worse.
Grandpa died yesterday afternoon.
The whole way there i had a feeling my phone was gonna ring with news cos i didn't have it on me for once as it was in the nappy bag in the boot (OMG i actually had room in the nappy bag for my things cos only took her 1 outfit!).
When i walked up from the car I sat in the foyer to give E a bottle before we went up cos that worked heaps better last time. She'd been screaming as overdue before I left but she was so sound asleep she didn't even wake up when i sat her up in pram & wouldn't really drink it. My aunty Zette walked in & looked sad & I was all cheery saying hi how are ya etc and she just said she'd meet me up there. I had had a couple of messages on my phone - one from Mandi (sis) asking if I was at the hospital & if i would come over afterwards and a missed call from her plus a message from mum saying something like am I there cos Mandi is on her way and doesn't know so can I look after her. I didn't even click! Mandi walked in 2 secs afterwards then mum then mum realised we didn't know & told us & i lost it. It was still hard even though expecting it. Mum sat down there with us 2 while dad went up & my uncle.
It's sad cos no one ended up being with him. Mum assumed I was though but i would've been parking or something. Grandma had been with him all day then the nurses made her go back to her room for a nap, Zette & Brian had been there all day chatting to him too & decided to have a break & went to Botanical Gardens. When it was happening the nurses were washing him & they rushed to get Grandma but too late by the time they hauled g'ma out of bed and into the wheel chair etc. When we went upstairs g'ma's room was dark & no one there cos they were all in his room (the door was thankfully closed when we went past it). We waited & tried to feed E again. It was like she knew. She smiles and coos when you cry and then she was all serious. When they came back i cried again cos g'ma was too. I passed e to mum to feed & gave her a hug. then we passed e to dad to feed while Zette, me, mum & Mandi went to see g'pa. I was so nervous as always said i didn't want to see a dead body but i felt better. He was all yellow & looked like a wax thing at the museum. Unfortunately they hadn't closed his mouth but he still looked peaceful. I can't believe how calm Zette was! She was wonderful. Their dog's (child's lol) Jemma's photo was on the wall of g'pa's suite so we took it down to fold & put in his shirt pocket he will be dressed in. Our friend is an undertaker and has spoken to them about it before. He is going to collect G'pa on Tuesday morning. They gave the wedding ring to grandma when they took him away which i think he should've been buried with it but we said we'll give it to Paul on Tuesday. Dad is doing the euology and has been scanning photos for an OHP. We had had tea & biscuits in G'ma's room which made us feel better cos it's what we always do with g'ma and g'pa.
Get this though. A couple of weird things happened yesterday when it happened ...
1. Mum was getting the dogs' dinner ready & Rupert was out there but Jemma was absolutely sound asleep in the lounge not coming out ... she eventually did but it was weird cos mum was calling and calling her. She seemed upset and down.
2. They were walking out the door to go to hospital & the phone rang. They were gonna leave it but dad ended up deciding to go back in and answer it ... it was the call...
3. I'd just called David at home to tell him. A few mins later I got a message from him. He freaked out cos all the lights were off at home & he was in the lounge. He heard something from E's room. It was the worm or bee (?? lol) toy from baby shower tied on her cot where you have to pull it down to play Brahms Lullaby and it had started playing on it's own ... weird, hey. Before he died and was having 'turns' he was trying to figure out how all these different things worked like drawers and recliners so I said he must've been trying to figure out how it worked.
Ok Dave's in a good mood now & mowing the lawn. I have done ALL the washing except sheets (cos no room left on line) plus vacuumed and we had a yummy brekky. Dave said we should've gone to see Pirates 3 but i said we can't afford it. It's unlike him to suggest somehting like that then he said we will go instead to Westfield and spend his $20 gift card his mum gave him from Easter. WTF> He wants to go to the shops>?! LOL. I have to go on Tuesday (unless i can convince him to look today while he is with me) as i want to get Ella some satin shoes for the funeral and stockings (i will put her pink dress with the smocking on it from dorothy on her) and I need to get something to wear also. I am not getting black. Maybe cream top & black pants. Don't know and don't feel like going shopping for that but it has to be done. Dave needs black pants too.
Ok best be off. Gotta get dressed properly - in trackies & t-shirt atm.
Sorry this is so long!

Thanks for the positive words about my tummy, I really didn't have any idea that it would still be swollen. Feels weird that the hardness of the muscles is still in a curved out shape! I guess you're right though, and it's probably going in slowly I just expected it to be instant :o

Hey nemosmum
I like the silver one but I think the gold one would be perfect for her and more precious because of the golden pig thing. I was the same with the bracelet we bought Jacey as her pressie. I love everything silver but just cause I do I thought she might prefer gold!! So we got the gold one which was 4 times the amount of the silver one!! he he
Yes I read about that accident in todays paper and its just terrible, makes me sad and I didnt even know the family, :( and it does make you appreciate your own little family just that much more.
Shezi I have the F & P older model - Aquarium, and I love it!! Just gets Jacey off the floor so Logan doesnt step on her etc. She loves using the sitting up function now too, when I have her laying back she tries her little heart out to sit up!!. She occassionally has her last sleep in there too of an afternoon. She was just asleep then before Logan went up to her and woke her up!! grrh. But the butterfly one looks very pretty, hope you can get it.
Logan is officially the fussiest eater ever! He will only eat spag bol with spaghetti!! I ran out and put different pasta in there and he wouldnt even try it. Honestly I am running out of food ideas for him....please help anyone :banghead: Whenever he has dinner he just wants fruit! His snacks are fine its just the actual meals like breaky/lunch and dinner.
Its been crazy here packing and getting organised etc. Had an open home today and there is one lady pretty keen so :fingerscrossed: I tell you what I'm very glad we are moving in 5 days cause I dont want to do anther open home - too much work when you have kids to get everything looking great!
OK sorry for the me post, I have been reading posts but never remember when I finally get a chance to write back.
Oh and it has been the first cold few days we have had. Just at nighttime but being able to wear trackies is great! At the moment I am in 3/4 jeans and t shirt with all doors open!! I love the weather up here.
Carrie :hugs: I'm so sorry for your loss hun.
Sarah I like the Silver one too.

Very very hungry, scoffing down some So Good icecream. Hardly ate at all today.
Took the toadlet climbing at 10.30, he was perfectly behaved the whole time, had 2 feeds, 2 cat aps,
bounced in his jolly jumper and only grizzled once cause he was too hot. He fell asleep tem minutes before we got home, then woke up for his feed and was unbelivably smiley (at the telescope and my pony tail) and very very chatty. I think he has sensory overload.
Sarah, that's awful news about your DH's friends.
Caithi, the hands in the mouth and the drooling is a developmet stage, hopfully not teething this early.
Toadlet tries to shove both hands in his mouth.
I imagine that one day I'll come to get him up ad he'll have both hands lodged in there.
There was a 11 week old baby at the gym today and she looked and behaved like Toadlet did when he was 7 weeks old. Since then he's been twisting his head side to side staring at everything, mouth wide open, eyes wide open. Hard to get him to sit still.
*chomping down more icecream*
Anna, how is Leahs sleeping going? I was disapointed last night that toadlet only did 7 hours.. but then he slept 5 more.
Bluegin.. lovely shiny pots and pans.. lovely DH.
Have fun shopping.. I sympathise with you, can't stand it.
Very sad losing your Grandpa Carrie, did you get to be a big part of his life? I really wish I had known mine better, but they are all gone. I am going to make an effort to let Mnoty spend a lot of time with both his Grandpa(my dad) and DP's mum.
Sarah.. cool present for Iris!
http://www.budproduct.com/source/ducks/daydreamduck.html Adrian's mummy got Monty that.. its in the bath.
Where can you buy them from? I'd like to get him a groovy piggy bank.
Tazzy.. I hope the lady buys the house!
Oh.. Sarah, was it you that showed that little pop up potable cot? It was about $79. More like a small curved tet with mesh all around it.
Anyone else gettig a bumbo seat? I bought one online the other night..

Great pics Tazzy, she looks so grow up in the jeans pic!
I got toadlet up for his bath and night time feed, he was sitting in the rocker fast asleep while I ran the bath.
I looked at him and thought how much I loved this funny little human and gave his little fat leg a kiss.
I'm still convinced he loves the telescope more than his mummy though.
taryn gorgeous pics of jacey & logan. i love PP clothes! so cute and they're made to last.

LL. harper is very cute, Love the one with the sailors hat.
Waiting for toadlet to wake up...I miss him!!!
He slept 10 hours 40 last night, scoffed down 250 mils, wanting more (piggie) put him down again straight away and has now been asleep nearly 4 hours.
I think I must have exhausted him out yesterday.
Waiting to take him for a swim when he's had his feed.
Daddy gets home at 2!! Yeah.
Wel done on the tummy time AD.
I used to give toadlet tummy time and he lifte his head up all the time. Then I was lazy with his TT and his head got too big and fat to lift up. He's doing it now though. I stick him on the zoo pillow.

Nic - Sorry to hear about Madi being ill again. You are a wonderful mother no matter what you think hun. I have seen you with Madi and you are fantastic. All you can do is be there for her with love and cuddles & that will help her heaps. It's not your fault. xoxo
LT - Monty Toad sounds like he is such a gorgeous little boy & behaving so well for you! I love his duck. I have seen them in Pillow Talk and want one for Ella too. I know what u mean when you just look at them & just realise how much you love these little people you created!
LL - Love Harper's photos! You're a gorgeous family!
Anna - Ella is sick with a cold too (thanks to Daddy). Hope Leah gets better soon. Ella had a shocker of a night on Saturday night but last night i put Panadol in her bottle before bed & she slept from 4pm to 7 then 7.30 to 3am. I didn't put it in the 4pm bottle, but did in the 7pm one. Then put it in her 3am and she slept til 7.30! I feel heaps better. It's horrible isn't it? Ella looks like a rosy red tomato atm!
I have start of the cold but have been taking 1 cold & flu tab per day to prevent it.
BG - Hello!
Sarah - Luv luv luv the shoes! Taking E shoe shopping tomorrow after NPG as I want to buy white satin shoes from the baby shop & stockings to wear to the funeral on Thursday. Hugs to your DH.
Caithi - Ella shoves her fists in her mouth & drools heaps lol.
AD - Yay Antonio!
At NPG last week some put their bubs on the floor but if I did that to E she'd winge lol. See how we go but she's sick and clingy today.
Tazzy - Jacey is one of the cutest bubs I have ever seen! (Lol I think i say that to ALL the march bubbas! But we did well reproducing spunks didn't we?!).
Where are the jeans & shoes from? E needs new jeans as grown out of hers already. Atm she has pink cords from B&L she wears but want blue jeans. I have some 12 months Esprit Jeans i bought for her & Mason when i was about 12 weeks lol.
I love Jacey's hair! Ella's is growing every day now but she has bald patches at the back :)
Ok must go as my sister isn't at uni for once & decided to come over for dvd's & snacks this arvo (after her brekkY! lol).
Hope everyone has a lovely day & thanks for all the hugs xo
PS Lana I hope Griff's tummy ache is better. I found S26 is no more exy than Karicare Gold from Big W or discount chemist and was heaps better. Maybe try Infacol in his bottle as well.
hi ladies
chomping hands - sometimes H sticks so much of his hand in his mouth that he retches!! dork...
LT - i am jealous of toadlet's marathon sleeps. H still wakes for a feed at 1/2am and 5/6am. my MIL says she gave her kids formula at night and that made them sleep through but i'm not planning to use formula unless i REALLY need to. i don't feel sleep deprived, we don't get up til after 8 most days...
Perth mummies - i can't do thurs this week, how about next monday? i could get there about 11.30. or tuesday anytime...
my little sis is 18 tomorrow! i can't believe it, her mum and my dad have been together since she was 4 - she has grown up into such a great young woman (proud sis here :D )

Perthies - I can do Monday or Tuesday (but cant get there til after my appt which finishes at 10)
LT - I am so jealous of Monty's sleeps, even if griff does sleep really well lol!
Carrie - I will try another formula but i dont really want to use the infacol or coloxyl drops because Amity became dependent on them to poo!! Plus it mught just be his little tummy getting used to the consistency of the formula. Its a fair bit different to Booby juice!
I went to the gym this morning and i feel so good now! I almost didnt go but glad i did! I know have a bit more motivation to clean my house...

(sorry to be difficult..) or what about a monday at yours lana? closer for you two.. i'd just leave around 12.30/1ish. anyway i'll let yous decide. im happy either way
LT, A doesnt fit those wraps anymore lol. i went to TRU today and bought her a bigger one (6-10kg) she sleeps so well in them. last night when she wasnt wrapped she woke up coz she had kicked the doona off.. she was freezing..
**anna, leah is bound to be smaller than A.. would you like the wraps?? im going to the post office in the morning so can send them then**
well i finally got around to buying a breast pump.. just got a cheapy.. it was half price for $40. its the pigeon brand. works really well.. i tried some in a bottle for her but she was just talking to me instead of sucking lol. im gonna try every day.. with her sleeping so well at night i wake up with rocks so expressing wont be a prob!
the girls were so good for me today.. TRU is like 45mins from me.. and i had no whinging from any of them the whole morning.. had a look at swings while i was there too.. nearly bought a FP flutterbyes one.. only $140 but i decided to think it over.. im trying to work out just how much use A will get out of it seeing tho she's nearly 4months already..(not to mention D was trying to 'swing' her in it at the shops haha) plus we dont plan on having anymore in the next year or so.. but on the other hand.. i really want one!! lol (swing.. not baby just yet!)

Morning girls.
Very proud of my toadlet he now barks like a dog when he cries. and can scoff down 250 mls in 9 minutes.
Sarah, sounds like your sisters bf is working out well. I'm a big fan of whirlwind romances.. He took the effort to propose nicely and went out of his way to get a gawdy engagement ring!
Caithi.. one word for you. GRADE A MORON!
Shezi.. sell the wraps on ebay! You should get a little for them.
Monty is ow in size 00 or 0's.
Got my Frog back yesterday. Nice to have him home.
I have a meeting at 11 this morning with my competitor, the general manager/owner called me last week, in an email he put:
"I wanted to catch up with you to look at the opportunities that may exists in the space working together, basically it is a see if you are interested and what you may be looking for etc – and of course to ensure we are also comfortable. Let me know when you are free to catch up and I look forward to meeting with you."
I think he may realize i'm a threat! It will be interesting to see what he wants.
I'm happy working for myself though and looking after my clients.
Off to make the Frog some "Toadcakes" for breakfast.
Have a great day everyone.

the photographer said "can she sit up?"
Im like "um no shes only 3mths old"
P~ "oh she looks much older, must be the hair" hahahahaha
AND then when i asked if it was ok for O to leave his baseball cap on for his individual pics (he needs a hair cut badly and i hate his hair atm its in the inbetween stage)
anyhoo she went on and on about "well we dont like them to wear hats:ecomcity: "
I said "look im paying for them so just do the pics with the hat lady!" I said it nicer honest:p
Cant wait to see how they turn out
My sis is I think slightly more interested in the ring evaluation than the actual ring lol, no change from $18k:eek: her last wedding didnt cost that much FFS!
woah! i would be scared to leave the house lol. we're lucky, Al's been working on a diamond mine so we got major discount for my rings...

LT - great news that your business is going so well :)
Cherubs are those little kiddy angel things... Sort of like what cartoons of cupid look like.

I felt sick when my sis dropped the price on me.....its kinda disgusting when I think about the lil rat hole of a flat she lives in!
But they are moving soon to Balmain so the ring will fit in:rolleyes:
Got O a normal sleeping bag from kmart lol cost me $20 and its spiderman so he'll love it!
When i picked O up at kindy to day his teacher wanted a word with me:( his not listening and they want some of my techs I use at home UM hello we do time out in his room dont think that will actually work at kindy lol

Scary Momma!
do you think $45 is too much for a dummy? yup too extravagant!
And a big yes to that.
Quiet on here today!!
Anyway, reporting on my meeting with my competitor.
Went in there, asked me how business is going.
"very well thanks",, his reply, "yes I know".
He basically said that he knows I am doing well and that it is obviously cutting into his profit share, and he's asked around my clients about me and he said all of them had great things to say about me.
Then he said he wanted to buy me out (which I was surpised at)... AND!! wants me to come and run the calculator side of his business!!!!
F'k a doodledoo.
He told me how he has a chinese guy who is great at maths and developing, but can't speak english and doesnt have good people skills, so he wants me to go see all the banks and clients.
So, after thinking about it for one second.. it's going to be a big fat NO!!!
I love taking care of Monty, don't want to have to put him in child care, I love working from home and working for myself and taking good care of my clients.
I am going to give him a buy out figure (without me working for him), but it will be way more than I expect him to pay.
So I feel very flattered he wants me to work for him but it's actually motivated me to do even better with my business.

Go Hollie! THat's pretty impressive, but sounds like a wise idea to keep it, after all, what's money compared to a career you love?
Sarah- that sounds nutso for a ring to me, I've no idea what mine's worth, but it's less than that! LOL
Just love the Dior dummy, maybe she can have it for her birthday if she's still using them then!
Sounds like O is giving his carers a run for their money, pretty cool that you're in the position of Mum and carer, so you know how it works!
LL-gorgeous photos, he is such a handsome young man you have there; how cute is that one with his hand up!
Shezi-what a pain that you've missed the photos, no fair!
Taryn-Jacey looks like such a cheeky little sprite, super cutey she is!
M2B-how's Miss Madi going? I hope she's getting better, poor chicken :hugs:
LT-forgot to say earlier, but I think Toadlet has your smile! His features are Froggy, but that big grin is just like his beautiful Mum's!
I took a walk to the shops today, and the scenic way home (it's really lovely by the creek, all green and lush, can't wait till Kes is old enough to feed to ducks!) and realised when I arrived that I'd been 2 and a half hours, no wonder I was a little hot, LOL, only 13degrees here today so it was good to get warmed up.
At the shops I went to get Kes some bigger socks as his slide off (a bit short) and saw some sweet little bear slippers for bigger kids, they almost don't fit! i bought them still, only $10 and they stay on a bit better... necessary in this freezing weather!
I got a plumber out to repair our heater, it needs replacing though... $1500 :( pretty dissapointed the old one can't be fixed!
oh, and Kes saw his toes this morning :D, he was staring at them so I put his fingers on them, he found it fascinating :p

Hi girls, haven't been on for a while and managed to skim over the posts.
:hugs: Carrie. My thoughts are with you and your family as you grieve for your Gpa.
:hugs: Sarah for your DH as he too faces another tough time. It must be hard for you but I am sure he appreciates you being there for him.

Logan is officially the fussiest eater ever! He will only eat spag bol with spaghetti!! I ran out and put different pasta in there and he wouldnt even try it. Honestly I am running out of food ideas for him....please help anyone Whenever he has dinner he just wants fruit! His snacks are fine its just the actual meals like breaky/lunch and dinner.
Tazzy - Ryan went from being a really good baby eater to just hopeless as a toddler. Unfortunately I pandered to him and he ended up having such a limited range of food that he would eat. At about 2 or 2.5 we got really tough and ended up forcing him to eat. Not pretty but we made sure we gave him only small meals that were achievable and literally had to force it into his mouth. Probably took a couple of months of hell and tears (both him and me) before he realised that this eating thing was actually quite good. We now all sit down to the same food and he chows down everything from steamed fish, fresh prawns, salad, and sausages and veges are his favourite of all time. Tough work and not everyone will agree but it worked for us.
PS good luck on the house sale.
ETA: Caithi was it you that was going to buy one of those Trunki ride on suitcases?? They are on Oneitem for $49.95! https://www.oneitem.com/toddler/home.asp
Hi Lana & Caithi - saw this suitcase and just loved it! Grandma & Grandpa and Brother and SIL have gone in together and are giving it to Ryan for his birthday on Sunday. We also saw it on oneitem but we decided to buy it locally as the difference was only a few $ once postage was added in and we could get it in time. So cute and just perfect for an airline pilots son!.
Matthew has had a horrible cold this last week or so and his night sleeps have gone to sh1t and he has barely been feeding at all. Today though I think things are on the mend so :fingerscrossed: we are getting our good little baby back.
DH has been just wonderful and brought me back a big box of fresh Singapore Orchids when he arrived home last Wednesday.
He has also been helping out heaps and is now on another month holiday :smiliedance:. (Work is quiet so they are being forced to take their long service leave etc).
Matt is wearing 00 and almost needs a 0 in the bonds wondersuits. Also is fascinated with munching on his hands and I am sure his teeth are starting to move with the amount of drool he is producing. Haven't got any stats recently but he is growing so big so quick!
Weather has finally turned cold here in Brissy and guess what - our new water tanks filled up to overflowing in the rain last week.... .YAY 20,000L just sitting there waiting to be used. Woohoo!
Okay - cuppa tea and choccy calling me... sorry for the long post.
PS Love everyones piccies and vids.
PPS Great work LT - offer him a ridiculous sum and you never know he just might take it up.
Whats this I hear about you having a nanny? lucky thang you:D
Have an english girl who only does like 15 hrs a week ( just so I can work lol ) but its just so full on because its live in.
She is in a different section of the house, and as she is travelling her boyfriend also stays in there, but the whole wall of photos, matching outfits etc etc is weirding me out a little ...
She has been here for just over a month, and my parents knew her father years ago so I have that security i guess - just not used to it maybe?

OMG! I want one lol I would most probably lose it though he he
the photographer said "can she sit up?"
anyhoo she went on and on about "well we dont like them to wear hats "
I said "look im paying for them so just do the pics with the hat lady!" I said it nicer honest
So I feel very flattered he wants me to work for him but it's actually motivated me to do even better with my business.
Well done!

:hugs:'s BG that sucks about your heater  I'm struggling to keep bubs room warm too, our stupid heater (wall heater) is on a stupid angle so it only heats the kitchen/dining area, and has a poxy little vent for the lounge room.. golf clap to who ever designed this house. LOL. So i have a little electric heater, which i can only put on to take the chill out of his room(paranoid with elec heaters). So no way im leaving that on all night, plus would chew electricity too.
LT- You go girlfriend... i think it is pretty obvious that he is scared of your super competition so wants to buy you out for that reason... i agree why give up something you love and have worked so hard to achieve. I'm sure satisfaction overrides what ever sum he throws at you .
Neosmum... love the Dior, why did you have to post the link to that site.. i was looking at all the gorgeous Armani, D&G etc clothes for Antonio, im sooooo tempted to buy him something for his first birthday.. DAMN YOU WOMAN.
Anyhoo must go to bed (for the tenth time!) i went to bed at 10pm (early night) to catch up on sleep, nope not going to happen, i get a headache that wont go away, then the rain wakes me, then Dp asking about Antonio (cant remember what). Tried again, Antonio wakes me, and again cats wake me up. *Banghead* So i gave up. Now im trying again. So fingers crossed!

Hi girls, just a quick one as kids are up.
Last night Jacey chcuked the biggest tanty when I was trying to put her on the boob!! She just cried and cried but was very hungry. Everytime I would lay her down she would start to cry. I tried all different positions and occassionally when this has happened before I can lay her on the bed and feed her laying down but not last night. So we made up 50mls of formula, which she drank for the first time then once she finished I was able to put her on the boob. I know she gets frustrated that the milks is not "right there" but man - what a drama!! Especially when I didnt have bottles sterilised or cooled boiled water!!
Has this happened to anyone?
I wonder if my girl will be a self weaner off the breast :(
R & M's mum: I have thought about what you did....but will wait until he is a bit older as he is not two yet. But we will have to do something. I hate that he wont even try food and when I putnthe effort in to make him something new and that looks great and he wont taste it! Last night he had quiche with grated vegies in there:thumbsup:
Oh LT thats great news about your business, must be good to feel like that.
Are any girl bubs rolling yet?? Jacey is no where near rolling and Logan was rolling on his tummy all of the time at this age (I read over my diary about him last night and he was waking me up heaps during the night cause he would keep rolling onto his tummy and getting his leg and arm stuck out of the cot!!)
OK Jacey hungry

Oh Yeah! Big Time!!! :gloomy: This last week has been just awful. Maybe there is something in the air??
Matthew often does this and usually when he is way overdue for a poo. I end up just trying to persevere and eventually get enough in him to satisfy him. But this last week has been just impossible. I even expressed and tried a bottle the other night which seemed to work that time but not every time. I sooooo don't want to give up on breast feeding but lately it is getting ridiculous. Hopefully now his cold is settling down his feeds will too.
Sounds like a good idea trying a bit of formula first.
Makes it hard though to consider breastfeeding in public (like in a coffee shop or something).
I hope Jacey settles down soon for you.:fingerscrossed:

Taryn Amity didnt roll until she was 5 months or so and of course she had to do things differently, rather than rolling the 'easy' way first (tummy to back) she did the back to tummy!
Sarah - I dont blame you hun! Im not sure i would want to drive there knowing that some of the roads are unsafe either.
Taryn - (again lol) I was trying to give Griff his bottle last night and he just plain refused!! I dont know how i am meant to wean him onto it if he refuses to take it!
Sharon - Oh how good! I bet Ryan and AMtthew are going to love being able to say that their daddy is a pilot!! The little suitcases are just gorgeous arent they!
I tried giving Griff his bottle last night but he refused to take it. He was screaming so loud! I ended up having to pass him to my friend because he could smell my milk and was getting distressed. She managed to get him asleep for a little bit then when he woke i gave him the boob. He was so determined to get it in his mouth that i barely managed to move my top lol. Its killing me having to wean him, especially because its not really by choice but more because i cant take the meds while breastfeeding. :(
Off to group this morning then going to see my sister who has just come back from 2 weeks in Sydney. Should be fun.

He wouldnt take to it even though he was sooooooooooo hungry so wat i did was put gripe water on my boob (because he loves his gripe water) and put a bit on my finger then on his tounge so he had the taste for it and went to suck my finger then i quickly shoved my boob in his mouth..it worked a treat hahahah :)

Sarah, the kids defiitely have your eyes.
Frog has taken toadlet out for a walk to I can do some work... so I'm not on bubhub incase anyone asks ok!!!
Toadlet did something he hasn't done before.. woken up i the night.
He went down at 7 and woke up cring for 20 minutes at 12.30. He then went back to sleep till ten to 6.
He wash't wet, hot or hungry, I'm pretty sire he wasn't cold but I put a blanket on him just incase.
Hope you are all ok. Better do this work as I sent my competitor a "thanks but no thanks" rejection email. I've got to keep uo with all the changes he's doing!
ARGH. Both kids are just asleep and the truck with the firewood turns up:banghead: . they seem to have slept through it though which is rather odd. The things kids do and dont sleep through.
LT, Toadlet woke!? Leah also woke...... more than once.......but then we aren't suprised by that are we?
Tazzy, Sams always been a pretty fussy eatter too but its a case of he eats what hes given or he doesn't get anything. Hes recently stopped eating his dinner because hes been having snacks too late in the afternoon so thats been stopped. And he goes through stages where he refueses everthing thats not junk if hes getting too much junk so I have to be mindful of what Im feeding him and focus more on healthy snacks when this happens. Its very true that toddlers will not starve themselves.
Sarah, Iris is looking so grown up! And oh so you! No mistaking her parentage.
Do mums with 2 or more babes find that 2nd time around you aren't in such a rush for them to grow up and reach all the milestones? Its quite mind boggling to think that Sam was on solids in 1.5 months from where leah is - I cant imagine her starting for quite some time yet.
Doing the sleep training thing again. We were doing really well till Leah got a cold then the dummy seemed to be the only thing that helped her breath so now shes better we're weaning it again. *sigh*. Its gotta go, she had me awake more than once and hour EVERY hour the night before last looking for it. Not good for mummy's sanity.
Anyone finding bubs getting cold at night? leahs in a singlet, body suite, winter weight sleeping bag, thick wrap, fleece blanket x 2 and STILL getting cold. Ive been tucking her in with me after midnight when she wakes and now I have a crink in my neck.
Ok, haven't read all the past two days posts but have to dash and get some housework done and put the milk in teh fridge.
p.s. re the bottle, leah stopped taking it on friday when she was being minded by a friend. apparently its a 3 month type thing to suddenly refuse the bottle so now Im expressing a bit each day and dh is giving it to her before I feed her properly to get her used to it again as I have my first birth back in less than a month. If she decides not to eat then shes going to be a very hungry babe if Im out 18+ hrs.

Jacey did the same thing on the boob in town - not good!!! I ended up going to the change rooms (I cant stand feeding in there as it just stinks of ****) anyway she eventually got on after many tears and me flashing my boobs everywhere! Think I may take formula in the future incase she wont latch on . Didnt have a good time but I did buy the kids curtain rods for the new home. We move on Friday
Just a quick one: Taryn- sometimes it helped if I kind of hand expressed as I offered the boob so that Kes got a free squirt or two, helped motivate him I think :p

About bl**dy time Bell and Sean know claire is their child!! ha ha ha (yep I watch days of our lives!!!)
 Hey everyone!
Well things are much better now with Madi, we had a very tuff time over the weekend with her screaming non stop and not sleep for more then 10 minutes at a time. Her paed called just before and she has no allergic reaction at all to cows milk or soy milk! YAY! so excited to hear that news, although she is allergic to something in the formula she was drinking so he has told me to keep her on the Soy Milk, which she is lovinig so much! Her ezcema is clearing up too since she is been on the soy milk too. The last 2 days she seems to be more content and sleeping much better.
Thanks for all the hugs and well wishes! LT, thanks for the offer of the cream, I think the soy milk alone is doing the trick but will let you know if I need some, thanks though!
So as you know Madi is waking still twice a night, is anyone elses bubs still waking at night?

So am i doing anything wrong?
Seems to me that all your bubs are rolling, sitting, touching there feet etc.
Antonio is still only holding stuff in his hands, shoving his hands in his mouth, has good head control when i sit him up, still isn't 100% happy with tummy time, but im persevering, hasn't discovered his feet yet, i keep showing him them. I play with him heaps,(give him rattles, show him toys, pull him to a sitting pozzie, and stand, tickle, sing, read, etc) put him on his tummy lots now, even if he complains. Sit with him, make sure he is not on his flat spot, and to be honest it is tiring me out. Dp doesn't really help.
I think im just worried that A is not doing what a lot of your bubs are. Its not like i leave him on his back all day either.
What are some other things i can do with him? or am i doing enough? He is a very happy kid, it just seems like all i do all day is entertain him, and then housework, back to him i don't get any me time.
Dp reckons i spend too much time with A. Am i?
Oh i dunno what it is really.. sorry for the babble.

Seems to me that all your bubs are rolling, sitting, touching there feet etc.
Antonio is still only holding stuff in his hands,
AD.. toadlet is't doing any of those things OR holding things in his hands, he always has his fists clenched.
Annsam, Monty gets really hot so at night i put him in a short sleeve tshirt and light pants with feet and his Thomas dressing gown that i've put snaps on to swaddle him. We dont have heaters or a warm house either. He's more than happy with that.
So is it normal for them not to want their bottle at 3 months?
Usually toadlet is gasping for his bottle bang on 3 hours during the day. Today at 3 hours ten he screamed when we gave him his bottle, stuck him int he JJ for 20 minutes and he scremed again when he gave him the bottle. So we put him in our bed and he had a sleep, then he ate a small amount about 5 hours after his last feed. What's happened to my greedy piggie toadlet??
M2B, great Maddie is doing well on soy and her skin is better.
firstly AD you're doing everything right so dont stress! A isnt rolling(not even close to it!) she sits up in her pram but still on an angle.. no where near sitting but like antonio has great head control. aalivyah hates tummy time.. doesnt play with her feet but happily chomps on her hands 24/7. antonio is 100% normal  :hugs:
So as you know Madi is waking still twice a night, is anyone elses bubs still waking at night?
yep! we get the odd sleep through or 1 wake up but most nights its 2 or 3 times. still my best sleeper at this age by far!:D
feeding aalivyah so will be back on later..
M2B, awesome to hear how well Madi is doing, yay for soy!
AD-Kes only saw his feet that one time, I had sitting on my tummy so I could get 5 minutes more in bed, LOL. I too spend the entire day entertaining him it seems, but it sounds like you get more housework done than me so good going!
I do hand-ball him to DH when he gets home, which is usually for 30 minutes, and for 10 minutes here and there during the evening, so I get that break which is nice (to cook dinner! LOL). It does feel at times like I spend too much time entertaining him, but then I think how soon he'll be a big boy and I dont want any regrets!
I figure that while I can, I will entertain him as much as he wants!
Cr@p Cr@p Cr@p Cr@p Cr@p... my washing machine is leaking. I only notice as there is a puddle developing in the study, a whole room away, and I've traced the puddle back to the laundry. I so can't be bothered moving the frigging thing (it is down a step in a tiny cupboard and weighs a ton) to see where the leak is coming from :gloomy: I am having visions of the plasterboard swelling and being ruined throughout the house. :(
Sorry, got a bit caught up in my annoyances there!
Anna-Kes gets reasonably cold so at night is in woollen long pants, singlet, and jumper (he doesn't like suits) but I also now have the new heat in the bedroom on thermostat control all night so that helps. he is cold during the day but not much I can do about it as he hates being bundled up.
M2B-Kes wakes multiple times at night for a feed, and sometimes he seems to want an arm over him, must get lonely, LOL ;)

AD dont worry about your bubs developmnt, they all develop differntly. As I said before Logan was rolling heaps at 12 weeks old and Jacey doesnt even turn on her side so they are very different already as she is 15.5 weeks old. Jacey also hasnt found her feet but she does hold stuff. You are doing heaps for your little man - heaps more than me! I dont get much one on one time with Jacey at all! I would though let him entertain himself at times though cause once they are older they wont scream when you are not in sight - well that is what I have heard. I also was told that it is important to let them entertain themselves for their development. Honestly it is not a competition who does what first! Logan was the first to do everything except talk in our mothers group but I'm kinda hoping Jacey doesnt crawl or walk as early!! he he want to keep my bub a baby for as long as I can. You are doing a great job AD
Harper's laying here on his big playmat having nappy free time, he loves having his daks off! :D
So as you know Madi is waking still twice a night, is anyone elses bubs still waking at night?
great to hear the soy is helping, excema must be so itchy for bubs.
Harper wakes up about 1/2am then 5ish for feeds. last night tho, we went out and i fed him when we got home at 10.30, he didnt have another one til 7am YAY! so i am going to try the 'dream feed' at 10 tonight and see if he sleeps through
AD of course you arent doing anything wrong, H is nowhere near rolling, hates tummy time. he doesnt really hold stuff either.
i agree that sometimes it does feel like amuse the baby/change/feed, do housework and not much else. you know what i did? had a facial and massage, it was so nice to not think about Harper for a couple of hours (i expressed and left a bottle with DH), i just relaxed totally for the first time in ages. highly recommend it!
AD, Madi seems to be the same as A! But I just guess she is going to do things when she is finally ready. The only things Madi does is roll from her back to her side and then sometimes onto her tummy, she also munches on her hands 24/7. She has no idea she has feet and can not hold anything or reach out and grab anything yet. She is only just starting to try and sit up but still that is going to take some time. It's good to know it's all normal though! hehe
Shezi and BG, glad your bubs are waking also. I am hoping she might drop one feed very soon, especially as I have to go back to work in 6 weeks. I don't want to go to work so soon, it's so sad....
LT, Madi also does the same thing with the bottle somedays, I find she does it 'cause she is over tired, so I take her into my bed and she sleeps straight away. So annoying though 'cause she wastes the bottle. Q for you if you don't mind? Can I reheat Madi's soy milk for a second time if she doesn't finish it all the first time round? She might drink 60ml so can I put it back in the fridge and then reheat it an hour or so later and give the rest to her?
BG, cr@p bout the washing machine, just what you don't need. Hope it gets sorted soon!
I too spend all day entertaining Madi, I don't have any ME time and I am constantly running behind with housework 'cause I can't leave her alone for too long 'cause she cracks it! I too hand her to DH when he gets home, he baths her and then feeds her and puts her to bed while I run around and cook and clean, a rest would be nice!
LL, I agree the excema must be itchy for bubs too, so excited it's clearing up though. That's great H slept through last night, fingers crossed H sleeps through tonight!

Do mums with 2 or more babes find that 2nd time around you aren't in such a rush for them to grow up and reach all the milestones? Its quite mind boggling to think that Sam was on solids in 1.5 months from where leah is - I cant imagine her starting for quite some time yet.
YES!!! I am in no rush for Griffin to be crawling or anything like that, i love him being my little baby for now!
M2B - So glad that Madi is feeling better and her eczma is going down.
Gin - OMG! You dont seem to be having much luck with anything to do with plumbing at the moment! I really hope that it hasnt done too much damage hun!
AD - Dont stress hun, you arent doing anything wrong! Yes, Griff is rolling BUT he doesnt hold things yet. He has his hands in his mouth most of the time. He tries to sit up but they just look like stomach crunches most of the time lol and he tries to bend himself in half to look at his toes but hasnt touched them. I agree with Taryn, letting him entertain himslef a bit is really good for their development and makes them less dependent on you as they get older

Yu are supposed to chuck out any warmed up formula after 1 hour. We didn't do this was toadlet was brand new as he could take up to 2 hours sometimes to feed!
Now he scoffs it down in 10 minutes.
So you dont waste any formula, you could put some from the fridge in his bottle and then top it up if she gobbles it all up?
BG is the washing machine f'ed?
m2b, with sleeps. Toadlet is doing around 9 - 11 hours at night now which is fantastic. Last night he woke up after 5 hours of sleep but we didnt feed him, he just went back to sleep. First time he's woken up like that.
Had a good climb tonight, very cold though.
The lovely Frog is on holidays so he's doing lots of toadlet shifts so I can get some work done.
ELECTRIC BLANKET TONIGHT!!
I too hand her to DH when he gets home
haha sounds good.. where do i sign up! actually the first thing i want dp to do when he gets home is have a shower. dont want him near the kids till thats done.. i usually have dinner ready or almost ready when he comes in too.. we eat around 5ish. girls are all bathed before he walks in too. i just find it easier this way. i guess with 3 i dont want him walking into a nut house after he's been at work all day
**truth be told putting the kids in the bath keeps them still for 15minutes and they stop trashing the house haha!**
anna yep im in no rush for my little ones to grow up! M was more advanced with sitting and what not.. D on the other hand didnt sit by herself till she was 8&1/2months.. lazy little bugger lol. but hey look at her now. she talks so much more than M did at that age.. i think its coz she wants to keep up with M. i mean come on she's like 85cms and jumps off M's single bed  i wish she'd settle down and act her age actually lol.
ok sarah i take it back.. your kids look like YOU!
A sleeps in a singlet, bonds suit, wrap and blanket. its so cold over here.
:hugs: nic. is there any way of postponing work till you're more ready?

:hugs: All, thanks for the reassurance i actually broke down down in a pool of tears very early this morning, i think im just putting myself under too much stress, seeing as DP is a lazy a$$. I'm not depressed or anything just feels like i do friggen everything around here these days while Dp does jack. His excuse "i'll play with him when he is older" or "i cuddle him for an hour or so" or "it's mums who babies need this early on" .. "he doesnt like me" "he doesn't laugh/smile for me" (he does) umm yeah ok buddy :banghead:.
Plus it's me who does the housework, shopping, looks after bills/finances, cooks dinner, yadda yadda yadda. What does Dp do .. sweet f.a until i crack like last night/this am and then that only lasts a day or so.
Anyway i will stop entertaining A as much and make some time for me. Sometimes i wonder if Dp is worth the hassle LOL. I love him to bits but he just irritates me at the same time. :devil6:
Seems to me that all your bubs are rolling, sitting, touching there feet etc.
No AD your not doing anything wrong...Cooper's not rolling or touching his feet yet and he's about a month older then all the other bubs. He might do something exciting like sit forward or yesterday he put his arms out to me but he doesn't do it again. :(
BlueGin that sucks about your washing machine. Our washing machine leaked at our old place and I was worried it went into next doors townhouse. And cos the water had detergent in it, no matter how much I moped the floor it still felt yucky.
Nai is still asleep?? She went to bed at around midnight lol
golf clap to who ever designed this house.
Golf clap -
Hope you got some sleep!
Last night Jacey chcuked the biggest tanty when I was trying to put her on the boob!!
Are any girl bubs rolling yet??

For the march mummies with headaches... your dr can give you an injection to take the pain away but is ok with breast feeding. No idea what its caled but they willl know and it works.
Im soooo jealous ( in a good way he he ) Nai is Mark in a skirt loll
Anyone finding bubs getting cold at night? leahs in a singlet, body suite, winter weight sleeping bag, thick wrap, fleece blanket x 2 and STILL getting cold.
She sleeps with us so I think our body heat must also keep her warm - who knows - but her nose/cheeks always seem cold.
We move on Friday
Goodluck for Fri!
Seems to me that all your bubs are rolling, sitting, touching there feet etc.
Touching their feet? geeze poor nai nai fods herself in half lol - so yeah she is touching her feet but with her nose he he
had a facial and massage, it was so nice to not think about Harper for a couple of hours (i expressed and left a bottle with DH), i just relaxed totally for the first time in ages. highly recommend it!
